Before Speer’s tutelage is a distant memory, he ought to be given credit one last time. So, hey, let’s hear it for Thomas Speer, and all the “Thomas Speers” working in the game of hockey. And may he stay in San Jose to lend his goalie guru goodness to Askarov, Ravensbergen and whoever fills that crease. Because this man has never had a shortage of job opportunities.
