The St. Louis Cardinal starting pitching shines once again as they take the series over the Athletics. Hates JD from Locked on Cardinals. Miles Michaels was really good on Tuesday. Wednesday night it was Matthew Liberator taking the mound and he has a stellar performance as well. He goes five and a third shutout innings. Gives up just four hits and strikes out seven. Exactly what you wanted to see from Lebby who’s had his issues here in the second half of the season. He was awesome. The Cardinals offense not awesome. had just seven hits and six of them were by two guys, Wilson Contrarus and Nolan Gorman, but they made them count. Willie goes three for four. He knocks in four. Got a little help from the A’s defense on the two hits that brought in all four of those runs, but that’s okay. And then Gorman three for three. He hits his 14th home run of the year.
