Disney revamped the stadium and built our only championship team. With those Disney people still on board we got Bartolo and Vlad and we went on a decade long tear. But then Arte was in full control and then Hamilton and Pujols and Rendon a horrible farm system and development team and we haven’t been able to recover from that
I don’t know what you’re talking about. Spent 6 years with the Angels (98 – 03) and the Disney years were amazing. Jumped ship as soon as Arte came to town. Best decision I ever made. If it wasn’t for the Disney stock holders complaining, they would still own the team.
You can tell how young fans are by how they talk about Disney. To be clear, Arte is a shit owner. Disney was a shit owner for many other reasons. The Angels won in spite of Disney’s ownership, not because of it.
