They were almost as good as the Seahawks WR core at the time

It really is amazing that it all worked out. We could’ve been the Steelers fielding a great defense but horrible offense had Wilson not been drafted here
I knew enough about football to understand how special they were, but not enough to know how hard it is to repeat the formula. “Just do the thing again,” is really not how sports work.
What does “average DB length” mean? Height?
Younger Seahawks fan here: isn’t Steve Largent kinda a gamechanger tho? I know that he came before Jerry Rice and wasn’t he known as the goat WR before Rice came along?
