facing a mobile quarterback who’s also kind of strong, hard to tackle. Is that something I know the DB you don’t think of being a, you know, necessarily your job one is tackling. Do you something you like to be part of run support, especially against a quarterback like that? I think if you’ve watched me play for the past nine years, then you would say that I enjoy tackling. That’s a part of my game. So, yeah. That being said, how much do you then look forward to having a mobile quarterback like this that you can It’s just a part of the game. We’ll face uh a few mobile quarterbacks throughout the year. Just another aspect um dynamic aspect that he brings to this game and just something else to focus on as well. How would you assess the work that you guys have put in since mini camp and you coming together secondary getting to know each other? Uh, I wasn’t here mini camp, but um, training camp was cool. The work weeks have been good. Um, we’ve all been putting in the required work that we feel like we need to get ready for the season and now, you know, the time’s here. when you reported in camp, you thought you said something effect of I get paid to cover. That’s why I’m I’m probably here. But you know, something along that that’s what you’ve been that’s what you made your resume on. I guess you don’t think you said that or or you is that way you disagree with that’s how you took it maybe? But I think I’ve done things in my career more than just covering that how I’ve made my living. But okay, so you so so playing around you gave the impression that day that being an outside corner is what you were brought here to do. At least that’s the way I took it. Maybe I’m wrong. I apologize. Yeah, not necessarily. Okay. And you but keep going. Keep going. Bouncing around everywhere, playing everywhere. Have you been you like doing that? Are you happy to be doing that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’m I’m I’m happy with my role um each and every week. May change. Um yeah, I’m happy with what I’m doing here. I I’ll just say that. And and honestly, at the end of the day, I just love playing football. So whatever role I need to have within each week, I’ll be happy doing that. Is that fun to bounce around different spots or is that a challenge in terms of mentally get to know different spots or both? I guess it’s Yeah, it’s both. I mean, obviously, you know, it would be easier to just, I guess, lock on to one specific guy and take a guy out of the game. But, um, I embrace any type of challenges that they want to throw at me. I am I, um, take a lot of pride in being able to be a versatile guy for the defense and the secondary. So yeah, whatever they need. How much does the bonding that you guys do over here with your position group in the corner of the locker room or even off the field help with that role allocation once you’re out there on the field? Um, I think it helps to a certain extent, you know. I mean, when we get on the field that, you know, is what matters the most and we have to be on the same page out there on the field. But it helps. It helps, I would say. Did you go over to Deshawn’s house last night to watch the game? I did not. Thomas said this. Not like that, though. Damn. Joe, did you go? Joe, Joe’s lying. What’s What’s What’s Sean my guy though? Don’t get it twisted. I ain’t go cuz it what I was busy at. I had my AC and I had the air ducts. I had to get them clean. What’s What’s it like having three guys who love that kind of like alpha mentality in the room? It seems like you guys are competing even little things like who’s faster on the practice field, stuff like that. Uh it’s good just the competitive nature of the game of football and you know what we do as professional athletes keeping that and keeping some fun you know within what we do is very serious obviously and we take it very seriously but you know trying to still have some fun and um yeah always definitely always competing for sure. Tomlin refer to this group as being special. Do you feel like something special is going on with this guys you guys your defense before the season starts here? Uh that’s the goal. That’s what we’ve been working towards. um is proving ourselves right, proving coach right when we get out there and put the product on the field. So, yeah, we we’ve been working towards that, I would say.
