It’s a blessing to be able to make it to year two. Yes, absolutely. How you feeling with maybe an expanded role now in this offense? Last year you had to do a lot of game days where you were inactive. You have expectations of really kind of uh making a name for yourself this year? Yeah, really just slowing things down, you know, um from year one to year two a big jump. So really just slowing a lot of things down in my head and being able to go out there play full speed. Where have you seen your game kind of take the biggest jump from last year to this year? Mentally. Mentally a lot. Yeah. Slowed down. Um last year a lot of things was moving fast for me and stuff like that. Not being able to go out there and play full speed, not knowing what I’m doing, but now I know what I’m doing so I can go out there and play full speed. How do you feel like you can make your impact week in and week out for this team? Um just doing my job, you know, whenever my number is called and just going out there and execute. So whether that’s special teams, whether that’s offense, anything, just go out there and do my job. We’ve got a a sister company that covers the Buffs. What’s your message to to the fans out there after one week? Go Buffs, man. You know, don’t listen to the outside noise, man. I know what y’all can do, man. Go B. How do they bounce back? Play football. Play Buzz, man. Listen to Coach Prime. He got He got the juice. He got it for y’all. And he got the key, man. So he got the keys to victory. Just listen to what he tell y’all. Feel good, man. You know, uh getting establishing the defense a little bit more with the team. You know, everything starting to slow down. So, uh can’t wish for nothing more than that. Is that the biggest part? Just kind of out there on the field just kind of seeing things kind of happen slower. It’s not so fast coming at you. Yeah. And also you said like with our with our run group, you know, the defense that we run, you know, you kind of want to come in and everything look the same. So you don’t want to be the guy to come in and be the tail, you know, be the pigeon. So, you know, you got to be ready to come in so it all looks the exact same. Even even if I wasn’t in there or if there was someone else in there, just make sure the all the defense looks the same. Yeah. Really solid rookie year. You looking forward to an expanded role here and there, too? Oh, man. I’m sure team you, man. So, whatever the team needs me to do, man, I I’ll do 100%, man. I’m just happy to be here. How is this though with this this DB unit? It seems like you guys are a tight-knit group. You look at like the corners, all those guys are homegrown like yourself. You got Buddha and JT and your group like how is the chemistry? How is the camaraderie? We have good camaraderie. I would say we are really tight group. We do a lot of things together off the field and that that leads to production on the field. You know, once you know somebody and know what they what they’re playing for, you know, that makes you want to play a little bit harder for those guys to the left and the right of you. From a team standpoint, I mean, what’s is the confidence compared to last year? Is it Can you feel like it’s even higher? Oh, 100%. You know, we come in to work every single day to try to get our ultimate team goal and you guys know what that is doing the whole thing. So, whatever we can do to get 1% better every single day to end up getting to the 100% goal is everything we can do. Last week unveiled the new uniforms. What’ you think about it? Oh, they’re crazy. I I got a little sneak peek early, but that’s I can’t wait to wear them. I want to sleep in them. Looks good. The 42 looks good. Oh, yeah. Jackie Rab, baby.
