> Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak made it clear Thursday his rookie third-string quarterback is playing this season
> And, yes, Macdonald echoes Kubiak in wanting opposing defensive coordinators beginning with Robert Saleh on the 49ers this week to have to devote game-preparation time to defending Milroe’s package of plays. “We’re going to have plays in game plans for Jalen,” Macdonald said of this season, “and he’s going to rep those with the ones,” in practices.
Hell yea, give him the biggest option packages possible and coach him on keeping head up and on a swivel. Make LB’s crash down for his “run” and let the WR’s have triple route options, let him find the open guy. I can’t be the only one thinking this is a real possibility.
He can’t play as the emergency quarterback unless Lock gets hurt right?
Im ready for us to see and go “that was a great play” or “wtf was that”
I like this kid. Great attitude and work ethic by all reports. I think he is going to develop into something. He needs to see the field to do so!
I dont know man. He was not good in his preseason start. 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 sure. I guess. A trick play or two maybe 3 over 17 games, maybe.
Other than that as exciting as this may sound i dont think any defense is worried about his arm. They will just cheat towards a run play and this wont be very successful other than obvious run downs.
I am not sure how much I care about this. Darnold being a much better thrower is going to give us a better chance on every down. Even on 4th and 1 or 3rd and 1 plays.
Please no.
I don’t need gadget plays. Can we just get the fundamentals down?
I guess if we can’t make the playoffs at least we can be a clown show.
Reverse option coming in hot!
*Plays center*

Honestly, 3 QB, 4 TB, 2 FB. I would rather use those extra roster spots for more depth for d-line and o-line and maybe a real NT
He was looking a little raw in the last game. I only wanna see the football in his hands rushing but not that often.
I wonder if this will get more use than the package of plays we had for Eskridge.
Going to be so refreshing seeing these boys cook up some creative play calling and not the same tired shit we have been used to the past few years. This is going to be fun.
