With only 20 games left to go, things are shaping up real nicely for the Brewers at an 87-55 record. The Cubs, Philly and Toronto would need to go 16-5 (21 games left) to beat the brewers if they go 10-10. Once again, never in my life would I have imagined my Brewers would be in this position with less than a month to go. Cant wait til October!

8.5 up on the Dodgers. Mindblowing.
It’s been a great season. To be honest, I’m nervous about the bullpen, which hasn’t been as consistent and is riddled with injuries. Mis will hopefully find that July mojo again, and some of the quiet bats (Vaughn especially) ought to wake up soon. Going 500 for the rest of the season seems very doable.
Used to pray for times like these.
Hope we can stay nice and healthy and go into October strong
Stay humble king
This has been an amazing season. But the brewers have won the division 4 times in the last 7 years. They finished with the best record in the NL not too long ago in 2018. I dont think this should be all that surprising anymore. The brewers have established themselves for a while now.
I just wanted to see them get to 100 🙁
Remember how maaaad and down everyone was after the first few weeks?
Yankees were World Series bound after opening weekend. Dodgers were going to win 115 games with that stacked line up🤣🤣🤣
It’s happening, soak all the au jus while it’s here! This is so amazing…
Let’s just enjoy the rest of the season and get healthy. To lose a 5 game lead with 20 games left is akin in the NFL to losing basically a 3 game lead with like 5-6 games left. It would take a near collapse.
I get mad about lost games way too much as you’ve seen by my posts but I appreciate this team stays out of slumps by winning games like last night…..where there was every reason to lose and be OK with it by saying the Pirates were hot coming in and we haven’t been playing well. However, we went there and took care of business just like in Toronto.
I don’t even mind the Phillies series loss, either. We had every chance to win all 3 games of that series and we only needed 1 to gain the tiebreaker and that’s all that mattered. If I’m the Phillies, I don’t come out of that series saying they are better than the Brewers….I come out of that series saying “it’s a good thing this wasn’t a month ago because they would have swept us”. We wouldn’t have a lost a 5-1 lead a month ago and we would have pushed runs across on Thursday (and Frelick wouldn’t have made a stupid dive like Collins).
Any Brewers fan knows that an atrocious September is always possible.
It’s especially incredible considering how much crap they got for all the games they lost when the season started.
A thing of beauty
