Carey Price Traded to the Sharks!?
It’s officially the end of an era for the Montreal Canadians. I hate to say it, but they’re trading away their lifetime goalie, Carrie Price, and a 2026 fifthround pick to the San Jose Sharks. And in return, the Sharks are sending Ganon LCOY to the Montreal Canadians. Now, I know Carrie Price hasn’t played an NHL hockey game in such a long time, like 3 years to be exact, but this move had to take place. It’s a contract situation thing with the Canadians trading away Carrie Price. They have so much flexibility for Cab space going into next off season. So, it’s honestly a good move. Even though you have to trade away a guy who has been there for so long, I hope that Carrie Price when the Sharks come to Montreal, he gets a big praise from the Habs fans. And at least in return, the Habs are getting a young defenseman in this trade. Honestly, this might be the end of Kerry Price’s career. He’s going to ride off with the Sharks. He’s already the Sharks best player for not even playing one game yet. But it’s an end of the era for Carrie Price with the Habs.
Carey Price has been traded to the San Jose Sharks in a surprising move 🤯 The Habs send Price and a 2026 5th-round pick to San Jose for defenseman Gannon Laroque. What do you think of this deal?
