I teared up when they mentioned Kobe.
Glad Bron was able to make it I was worried about that due to the Nike tour in China

Michael Redd and Deron Williams are two players who will get lost in the history books

Howard was the youngest member of the team at 22, LBJ and and CP3 were 23.
Kobe at 29 (RIP) and Jason Kidd at (a comparatively ancient) 35 were the senior members.
Redeem is the #2 USA team behind the Dream Team. I love this team.
Lol, 3 of them are in the legendary ” banana boat crew ” picture – missing Carmelo.
6 of the 12 players have Lakers in their resumes – 5 of them as players and 1 of them as an assistant coach. Even 2 of the 4 coaches have Lakers in their resumes as well… Disappointingly, 1 of them was almost a Laker- CP3. And the head coach (Coach K) was almost a Lakers HC to replace Phil, but he decided to stay at Duke.

Kobe, LeBron, Dwight, Carmelo, Boozer. J-Kidd… D’Antoni, Nate ”Mr. Sonic” McMillan.
They find any reasons to induct people into the HOF. The contrast between them and baseball HOF is extreme.

How rare is it for somebody to be in the Hall of Fame while they’re still playing?
I miss Kobe
When it hit crunch time in that final against Spain, Kobe took over and brought home the gold.
The analytics/stat geeks/haters seem to disregard it.
On a super team, Kobe was clearly the top dog.
But yeah āhe maybe cracks the top ten all timeā and āheās behind Duncanā š¤”š¤£
