  1. There aren’t many players that have tape good enough for film study on the UNC roster rn anyway.

  2. I love BB but this is just sad. Hopefully he retires soon and enjoys the rest of his life.

  3. Is he actually mad that he got fired ? He fired hundreds of players does he think 4-12 is acceptable and 5 straight garbage drafts .

  4. Yeah as much as I appreciate what Bill has done, this is not a good look for him and prob hurts anyone even thinking of transferring/committing to UNC. Petty AF. Hard to get to the NFL as is. Cutting out one team makes those percentages harder

  5. The fact he said this in a press conference after his team won is wild. The old Bill would have never taken away from his team’s accomplishments and put the spotlight on himself like this.

I’d say he has the wrong people in his ear…and he does…but that absolves him of blame. His ego has clearly taken a hit in these last few years. From envisioning himself beating Shula’s record to slumming it at a mid tier ACC job.

Hope the guy finds inner peace one day and I hope he comes back to Gillette.

  6. This whole fiasco has just been bizarre especially since at the end of the day you’re only hurting your players.

Honestly it is what it is at this point, I just hope this is just him being his usual petty self and not him losing it or his girlfriend influencing him.

  7. What the fuck, Bill? New lows.

It’s like someone that refuses to acknowledge the full scope of a bad divorce. It happened. You started doing a shit job for years on end and you got fired. It happens.

  8. I love Bill and will always thank him for 6 Rings. But after Brady left, we all knew he had limited time until ownership, media and fans would start turning on him.

2020 wasn’t his fault and 2021 was a promising year.
But starting in 2022, he botched the Offense roster and staff, the bad drafts finally started killing us, and his cutthroat mentality was just not looking good when we were losing.

Just like every other legendary coach, it was time to “part ways”. I’m honestly kind of surprised he seems shocked he was “fired”. Unless Kraft said something to him…
