Tennessee Titans Key To Victory REVEALED Before Week 1 Against The Denver Broncos

[Music] Ladies and gentlemen, today is the day football kicks off and we get some Titans football. Welcome in to Titans Today by Chat Sports. I am your host Brett Alper and I thought you’d give you guys a final preview for later today’s game as the Titans take on the Broncos. how the Titans can win week one and the keys to victory for Tennessee. So that’s why you subscribe to the channel and join over 12,000 people. So let’s get into it. The Titans 3 and4 2024 record and the Broncos, let’s not beat around the bush. They are looking to be Super Bowl contenders. So this is going to be the toughest matchup. could be one of the toughest matchups of the season because my bold prediction is that this team right here might beat the Chiefs for the division in the AFC West. So, this is a tough tough matchup, but it’s week one. Anything can happen. And if you want the Titans to win, don’t jinx it. Do not jinx it. Do not give bad juju. Hit that thumbs up icon. Like the video if you want to see the Titans start off 1 and 0. So, I talked about it just now and I think this is probably the worst possible team for Cam Ward to go up against. The worst possible team because their defense is absolutely incredible. This is only just some of the few people on the defense. You have Pat Certan, Nick Bonito. I could talk about John Franklin Myers, but you they also have Bon Knicks, Courtland Sutton, and JK Dobbins, but they also added a ton of players like Trelaw. The defense is going to swarm. Tyo Huanga who if I can’t even pronounce his name, Jade Baron, they drafted RJ Harvey, but they added Evan Ingram on the offense. The one thing that just concerns me out of everything is that their defense is so so good. 63 sacks in 2024, which was first in the NFL, only allowing 96 rushing yards, which was third in the NFL. And then the opponent points per game, 18. They weren’t even allowing over 20, which was third in the NFL. This is probably the best defense in the league. And of course, your rookie quarterback Cam Ward has to go up against them in week one in his official NFL debut. Couple of Titans playmakers. They got a lot less than Denver. I’m going to put Cam Ward on that. Calvin Ridley is probably the best player on offense. Jeffrey Simmons, he is going to be one of the key factors for this team if the Titans want to have a chance and hopefully he’s been practicing and it looks like Legarius Sneed is going to be on the week one active roster and going to play which is huge. So you have him, you have Roger McCreary, and you have Jarvis Brownley Jr. You also added a bunch of players like I’m looking forward to seeing because we are going to see Femiola Dejo play on this team. And Cody Barton has looked incredible as the new Mike linebacker coming over from Denver. So he knows this team pretty pretty well. They also signed Tyler Lockett and we’re going to come down like Dan Moore Jr. you gave him all that money because overall it’s going to come down to the offensive line. I’m going to talk a lot about this Broncos defense and that front seven. If you cannot protect Cam Ward, it is going to be a long long long afternoon for this team. And ESPN in their predictions, they said that the Titans offensive line was their biggest strength. I disagree, but when you sign Dan Moore Jr., Peter Scrosky’s a good player. Floyd Cushenberry coming off that Achilles injury. It looks like he’s 100% healthy. You’re bringing over Kevin Zitler from Detroit. We know that Jared Goff, he got a lot of time to throw. And JC Laam seems to be thriving in his original position, but it’s all going to come down to that. Are you going to be able to stop Nick Bonito, who had over 13 sacks on the season last year? Are you going to be able to stop Franklin Myers from getting to the quarterback? Are you going to be able to give Cam Ward the time to throw? Because if he if it takes him if he only gets 1.5 2 seconds before he sees a guy coming up in his face, pause. But still, it is going to be coming to the offensive line if the Titans want to have a chance in this game. That is the biggest matchup you need to look out for. The biggest matchup. And I think the Titans might surprise some people. I think Cam Ward’s going to come out and look good and maybe this offensive line can hold its own. But who you got? Give me a 10 for Tennessee or give me a 10 if you’re rooting for Denver or the Broncos. Coming up, I got my keys to Titans victory. It’s going to be a surprising one if they do it because a lot of people think that the Broncos are going to win this one. A lot of people I haven’t seen one person pick the Titans. I talked about the defensive line with the Denver Broncos. The number one key to victory, protect Cam Ward. They blitz a ton. They are one of the top blitzing teams in the league when it comes to Denver. They’re going to bring the house. They know that it’s a rookie quarterback. They know that they want to give Cam Ward his welcome to the NFL moment. And you have to protect him against a great defensive line because if you don’t, he’s going to be running around scrambling and you’re not going to get any passing passing ability off and it’s going to be a long day because after Tony Pard well unfortunately I like you Julius Chestnut. I like you Kel Mullings but you’re not guys that are going to excel on the ground and if you have to run the ball instead of passing the ball it’s going to be tough for this team. second key to victory when it comes going over to the defense. Let Denver beat you on the ground because a lot of people they were sleeping on Bon Knicks, but Bon Knicks had a great year. And if Cam Ward has these stats in his rookie year, that is going to be an A+. Like 29 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 3,700 yards, and a 66 completion percentage in his rookie year. Yeah, that’s good. And going into his sophomore year, you got to think that Bicks is going to be better. Well, when you look at So, you don’t want him to throw the ball. When you look at the Broncos running back depth chart, JK Dobbins, he’s kind of old. He’s coming off a bunch of injuries. Yeah. And then you draft RJ Harvey. That’s the guy that you got to worry about. Tyler Bedet and Julio Mccclaclin, like, let them beat you on the ground because when you have Tandre Sweat and you have Jeffrey Simmons in the middle and you also on the other side, Ardan Key and Sebastian Joseph Day, let them beat you on the ground because they can stop the run easy. It’s going to come down to those corners and you gonna be able to guard Evan Ingram or you going to be able to guard Courtland Sutton, don’t sleep on Troy Franklin either. This is a good team, but if the defense can make it like let Denver beat you on the ground, you will have a successful day and at least lower the scoring. My third takeaway, quick passes, and this goes back to the offensive line, defensive line. It’s going to be a tough day for Cam Ward if he has to go over to the middle of the field. We saw in training camp, we saw in preeason kind of struggles a little bit when throwing over the middle of the field. Cody Barton in practice made his life a living hell. And you they they add a Dre Green law who’s a great linebacker. So I don’t want Cam Ward to have to throw over the middle of the field with a linebacker in coverage. Certan one of the best quarterbacks in football is going to be on Calvin Ridley. I want quick passes. I want to see Tony Pard on the field. I want to get Tyler Lockin involved. I want to see just give it two seconds to get the ball out. If you can do that, that helps. Also, not getting pressure to the quarterback. Quick passes is going to help this team. And the last one, it’s just in general, play free. No one in the world is picking the Tennessee Titans to win this game. No one’s expecting it at all. So, go out there and just play loose. Play like you have nothing to lose. shock the entire NFL that you can show that you’re going to be one of those teams that goes from worst to first like the Washington Commanders last year or the Houston Texans the year before. Just play free. Play like you don’t have a care in the world. Go out there, get have that chip on your shoulder that no one’s picking you and shock the NFL. Predict the score for me of Titans versus Broncos. What do you guys think it’s going to be? You think it’s going to be on the Tennessee Titans side or you think it’s going to be on the Denver Broncos side? I think it’s going to be closer than people think, but I think the Broncos are just too good for this Tennessee Titans team. It’s a rebuild year, but I think you’re going to see this team be competitive, a lot more competitive than people expect. And the Denver Broncos, who I think are the AFC West champions, are going to win this football game. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
