The facility arranged tickets to Sunday's game and a suite for Wickers and and Pearl staff.
Wickers says he's going back later in the season, as well, for the World Series."

Cubs woo
One time I was sitting behind Ronnie and he said he was going to St Louis for Cubs/Cards and my buddy asked how he was getting there and he goes:
“South-Woo! West-Woo!”
It was hysterical. My buddy and I say it every time we fly.
Sounds like he’s not doing so great, but I love to hear that he’s got the health to make an appearance; hopefully one of many more.

I don’t remember him before 1984 but he’s been annoying me ever since… that being said I hope he rebounds and is back out there.
When I was 8 and Sosa was chasing the HR record. I went to Wrigley with my dad and cousins and sat in the bleachers. Sammy hit a bomb and Woo-Woo, in full uniform put his glove on my head and shook my head around while chanting, “SAMMY-ahhh-SOSA-ahhh” repeatedly.
Was a awesome beachler experience.
I like our Ronnie Woo-Woo better than New Jersey’s. He’s been part of my life since the early 80s. Get well soon Mr. Wickers!!!
