SF Giants vs STL Cardinals Postgame
[Music] [Music] here. There’s a swing. There’s a high drive to left by Machos way back there. It’s gone there. Can the deep left field go halfway up the bleachers. Oh, [Applause] heat, heat. [Music] [Laughter] What is up everybody and welcome to the Bose game show coming to you from St. Louis, Missouri where the Giants they don’t stop. They don’t stop. They are absolutely on fire and today they go out 8-2. I saw it with my own eyeballs. Back-to- back home runs to kick off the ball game and the Giants end up winning it 8-2. We’ll recap the game. And I want to say Bush Stadium, one of the most beautiful stadiums. I haven’t been here since 2019. I was thinking it was 2018. I looked up. It was actually I was here in 2019. I came in 2018 and 2019. and uh I’ve always wanted to come back and I said, you know, I haven’t done a stadium review. So, we’re going here this year uh to Bush Stadium and the Giants get the W today 8-2 with just unbelievable hitting and also what a start. Just unexpected. I I mean, I I’m not saying I thought Carson Seymour would pitch poorly, but he didn’t pitch so great his last start. He’s not Logan Webb. He’s not Robbie Ray. He’s not even Justin Verlander. He’s a young guy. He’s a rookie. He’s a rook. He goes out there and he’s thrown a no hitter through how many innings. Um one, two, three in the first. He walks to JC in the second. Otherwise, he gets out of there, strikes out uh uh with Jordan Walker to uh get out of that inning without allowing a hit. Third inning, one, two, three. Strikes out Lars Nupar looking. Fourth inning, one, two, three. Not until the fifth inning he finally gives up a hit to Jimmy Crooks. So, what a performance there. Also a nice inning from Matt Gage. Um, and then of course finishing off is Tristan Beck. Everyone here today for this one. Wrapping it up. Giants win it. I did hear Jenny Vegas song. A Okay, I I don’t want to see no headlines in the mirror view. I always worry someone’s going to walk up to me up in here. Okay, Eric is here. Jenny is here. Babe Rocks is here. Raphael Des. Everyone is here. Des is here. Des is him. Mike a 13mons membership and that’s all that is Ray. That’s all that is Ray. Uh yeah, what a win today. I don’t even know what to think at this point in time. I really don’t. odds are against the Giants as far as playoffs go, but if they keep playing like this, I don’t I mean, the only thing that could stop them is the end of the season. The only thing that can stop this team at this point is the end of the season. They keep rolling. I mean, obviously, you could argue the Dodgers could stop them. Yeah, they could run into the Dodgers and have problems. They could have problems with uh some of these teams that are coming up, but right now they are rolling and they are dominating. And I am so happy you are there. I am. and I’ll also be at Oracle and maybe even Dodger Stadium. U we’re just going to go all out the rest of this year supporting this team until the bitter end. Whether it’s bitter or sweet, we’re going to find out, but I’m going to be here until the end. So, this one here, I got my scorecard. It all started with Rafi Des going deep in the first inning. Um then it was Willie Adamis before you finished cheering for Devers. Adamus goes deep. What a duo that is. I never thought coming into this season we would have potentially like a when’s the last time we’ve had a Barry Bonds Jeff Kent a Will Clark Kevin Mitchell you know or or a Kevin Mitchell Matt Williams if you want but you know when’s the last time we’ve had this duo of two guys who are just constant home run threats. We haven’t had a home run threat. We don’t we haven’t had a home run threat much less two. The closest we’ve had is like Belt and Crawford, but they they were never serious home run threats. They they could hit you, you know, 18 19 per year. But now we have two dudes. De’s a dumbass. This is throwback to the freaking Kevin Mitchell, Will Clark, Barry Bonds, Jeff Kent era. Um De’s golf swung at that one. Outside the zone drive. Oh, freaking peanuts, dude. Peanuts. Okay. I’m listening to a a audio book by Will Smith. Um, audiobooks will pass the time. Okay, audiobooks pass the time very well. Uh, and they’re super long. Freaking some of them are 14 hours, 16 hours, 18 hours long. You could freaking just drive all day, listen to it. Um, and that’s all that is, Ray. So, two nothing there. Um, the Cardinals didn’t do anything. Uh fourth inning it was uh Jung Hu Lee with the base hit. Hul Lee who Lee Casey Schmidt double Drew Gilbert sack fly Patrick Bailey base hit uh driving in Schmidy before you know it four nothing and then a base hit from Ramos 5 nothing base hit from Denver 6 nothing. So a huge inning right there for the Giants. And then they added two more in the seventh on the Matt Chapman base hit and Jung Hulie triple followed by the Casey Schmidt RBI hit to left field and that and the Giants had eight runs there. The um Cardinals scored on a Crooks base hit and then eventually Scott hit a base hit. Um Scott hit a base hit to drive in that run I believe. So that made it that was their only run until the home run was that Victor Scott the second hit a bomb. I believe it was Scott, but either way there was a home run hit that I called live on the air. And that’s really it. 8 to2 I think that’s it. So that’s your recap brought to you by Dilated Entertainment. Seymour definitely held up. Compare that to the Orioles game I saw live. Oh my goodness. Drew Gilbert Buster poses should be louded as a genius. I just realized this is the Brandon Crawford series. Unbelievable. What a team. So, yeah. Absolutely. And a great day to be there. I did not know they were going to do the 19 I love reunions. I’m all about I wish they would play. I wish they play a little exhibition, but a little old-timers game. They won’t do that. But the 1985 Cardinals, they were uh here. It was like what? 85 Cardinals were here. Um and then there was also a Hall of Fame induction. Not a Hall of Fame wall of fame. whatever Cardinals Hall of Fame induction. Um, tomorrow I’m going to hit the museum and there’s going to be a autograph signing by Terry Pendleton. So, lots going on this weekend. A lot of Cardinal stuff, but Giants win the games. Cardinals can have all the ceremonies and all the pump and circumstance, but the Giants kick ass and win games. So, love it. Gage was on point. Nice guy. Um, I did try to, uh, interact with some of the players before the game, uh, but, uh, very difficult. There was actually quite a bit of Giants fans, a lot of Giants fans here. The only guy that I got to, uh, to say hi to and get an autograph was my man JT Brewaker. He’s a really nice guy. Really nice guy. Um, but yeah, awesome to see Renteria in the You see him there in the thumbnail. Renteria was here. I didn’t know if I’d ever see Renteria again because after he retired he he didn’t he didn’t coach or nothing and I thought he moved back to Venezuela or whatever and and and like we would never see him again and I show up at the ballpark today walking outside the ballpark Ed Geria is there um but yeah what just the team is clicking on all cylinders that’s all that is just right now this is this team playing up to their potential earlier. We saw them playing to their absolute worst capabilities. Um, absolutely. Yeah, Woody was there at the game. Uh, really nice guy. Um, Woody was there. Uh, Kirk Reer, just crazy to see him sitting there at the game, but he was there. I guess he lives. I didn’t know. I didn’t know he lived here in St. Louis. I had no idea, but that’s cool that he goes and supports the Giants. So hopefully I’ll see him at the ballpark tomorrow as well. Longest trip I’ve done. Um yeah, I used to live in Georgia, but I never made the drive. I always flew from Atlanta to California. I always flew. The farthest I’ve driven is from California from San Francisco to Louisiana to Shreveport, Louisiana. I think that’s the farthest I’ve driven. Um, Logan, we’re talking baseball. Stop asking us stupid ass questions all the time. Stop asking stupid ass questions all the time. What did he say during the game? What I What What’s more valuable to me? my crazy crab costume, which is a worn out old sheep Halloween costume with tears in it, or my freaking Ford V8 van that’s worth thousands of dollars. Oh my goodness. 30 park tour. Oh my goodness. Stick to baseball. Miami ne, you know, next year I’d like to go to the east coast, but I don’t know if I’ll fly or drive. Driving like halfway across the country is one thing. It’s kind of like a half marathon. I can run a half marathon. A full marathon is a totally different ballgame. I think if Eric wrote a autobiography, Logan would be first in line to buy it. Just kidding. I’m not sure if St. Louis is farther than Shreveport, but I don’t think so. Giants go to win games because after Arizona, it is LA. Won’t say the last games played, only one of three that play. Wait, wait, wait. Enrique Samura. Giants go to win this game because after Arizona, it’s LA. It won’t be say the last games played. Only one of the three that played. I’m going have to try this one more again. Giants. Oh, got to win these games because after Arizona, it’s LA and it won’t be the last games. Uh, only one of three. Okay, I got you. I apologize. I’m took me a couple of few times to read that to to to get it. Um, we have a loan. Okay, here comes somebody. He’s going to knock on my window. I already know he’s going to knock on my window and ask for money. I’m going start my car. Pretend I’m leaving right now. Pretend I’m leaving right now. I don’t have any money, man. Got the dog treats. Some dog treats. I got some dog treats, man. I got three big ones. I just had a litter of another 10 buffers. Three of them died. So, seven. I got six. I got the other three. Yeah, that’s all. I don’t have no cash, but I give you. No problem, man. He got a dog. I gave him some dog treats. I don’t have any cash money. Um uh don’t get shot, man. No, not today. Not today. Not today. Uh let’s win another game. Let’s win another one. The Salvation Army. Uh $2 super chat. Where’s the video? Uh, if I can find the video clip, we can do it. And I’m going to move locations. [Music] Oh. All [Music] right, we’re moving locations here. We’re going to wrap this up here. I’m going to head to the motel before I get killed. Thank you for that $2 super chat. Malone, Jenny, they’re all nice people here, but there are some homeless around here and you know, I don’t I don’t want to get approached again. So, I tried to get a little farther away from to get a little better area, but obviously uh not not better enough. But you guys have a wonderful day. Giants win the game. We’ll be back tomorrow 100% for sure. Did you film that when your back was hurting, Eric? I think so. I don’t Oh, no. When when my back went out, I I don’t think I was filming at that point. Um big game today. How you like that Malone? Hey, Eric, you saw that made the trip to St. Louis. saw you at the game tonight. Oh, you saw me at the game. Moon, thank you so much. I saw I don’t know if that was you, but yeah, people were saying hi to me and that was awesome. I thank you so much. It kind of surprised me. Like I didn’t really think anyone would uh I didn’t think anyone was going to recognize me, so I was like, whoa, some freaking some baby subscribers in in in in St. Louis, like in San Francisco. I I kind of expected, but St. Louis, I didn’t expect that. So, thank you so much everyone. Uh Moon, everyone. Wolf Jenny player of the game. You know what? I’m going to go with Carson Seymour. If he’d have pitched poorly today, we could have lost this game. It could have been a a run, one of those games where there’s a ton of runs scored and the Giants end up losing. But, uh, instead, he he gave the Giants a great game and the offense took care of the rest and the Giants get the W. So, Carson Seymour, player of the game. We’ll be back tomorrow with a lot more action. Look forward to it. Thank you guys so much. Loving every minute of it. And I hope you all enjoyed the playbyplay. I saw you standing right next to Woody. Oh, did I see Woody? Moon. Did I see Woody? Oh, I saw Woody. I absolutely saw Woody. I said hi. Oh, did I see Woody? That was the wrong clip right there. Uh, I had a picture of him put up earlier. Woody, you know, I saw Woody, dude, eating the nachos. I said hi. Uh, you know, I didn’t want to bother him, but I definitely saw Woody. You can’t miss Woody. Um, celebrity now. Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a celebrity, but I got an autograph for my daughter from Woody. Nice guy. Yeah, I hope he’s there tomorrow. Um, I didn’t want to ask for an autograph cuz he’s that he was eating nachos. Maybe not the best time, you know, get the get the nachos all over the ball. He like, I’ll get nachos on your ball. Like, bro, I want you to get nachos on the ball. That way when I look at that ball I see nacho stains all I’m like those are Woody’s nachos. That’s Woody’s nachos right there. That was actually used. Yeah. I’m going to the rest of the games, y’all. I’m going to the rest of the games. And uh other than that, yeah. Um I can’t believe uh can’t believe people recognize this. You guys have a great day. Hit the thumbs up. And also we got the bobble. The triple bobble 1985. I showed this live. I did open it briefly. It is uh it’s uh there’s actually two possibilities. You could either get Aussie Smith, Vince Coleman, Willie McGee triple bobble or walking Anduhar, Danny Cox, or John Tutor triple bobble. You can guess which one I got. And I like, you know, Danny Cox, John Tudtor, Walkin Anduhar. But obviously the better one is Azie Smith, Vince Coleman, Willie McGee. But it it’s okay. I I still think it’s sick. I’m gonna put that one on display. Um, yeah, I saw them. Everyone’s getting autographs. I didn’t get any autographs except for JT Brewbaker. Um, have a great day though. Uh, yeah, say hi to me. You see me tomorrow, Moon. Thank you so much. That’s awesome. Uh, you guys have a great one and we’ll talk to y’all tomorrow. And I’ll be there tomorrow by the dugout again. Got to get a couple more guys on my poster. We’re working on the poster right there. That is early in the journey. We’ve gotten like five or six more on there since I took that picture. So, since that picture, I got Hayden Bird Song. I’ve got uh Elliot, not Elliot Ramos, but Luis Moss. And then today, we got uh got someone approaching the car. Um, sorry guys. And now we got JT JT Brew Baker. You guys have a wonderful day and we’ll talk to y’all tomorrow. [Music] I’m out of here. The freak is going on around here. Got people approaching me left and right. What do I look like? Just kidding, guys. Help when I can. Help when I can. See you. Tremendous pitcher, great competitor. Uh I’ve always maintain the I always [Music] there’s a swing. There’s a high drive to left by Machos way back there. It’s gone there. Yeah. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Music]
