since we’re facing the (somewhere) A’s, and i used to live in the bay area, let me just say, FUCK JOHN FISHER.
I would say this series will play a huge role in determining whether the doomers or the pollyannas are in the right about post-season chances for this Sox team.
The games themselves may not be that riveting, but the results (for example, a sweep either way) will be of monumental importance.

Here’s to hoping getting a proper 5 days of rest is what Crochet needs to get back on track. Absolutely need him to start pitching like an ace again to have any hope of making noise in the playoffs (if we make it).

All three games of the first wild card round are in one city? So if the Sox can’t get above the Yankees all three of those games would be in the Bronx correct?
