Here’s why Rashir Fleming is going to be the most featured player this year in the Phoenix Suns rotation. Look at Kaman Malawatch. Look at his position. It’s Kaman Malawatch, Mark Williams, and Nick Richards. There’s a chance that Malawatch isn’t ready for the bright lights of the NBA because he’s 18 years old. He hasn’t been playing the game that long. He’s got to grow into his body a little bit more. He’s got guys there and because of his not superb offensive ability, he might need some time to develop. Rashier Fleming is the complete opposite. There’s no one at the power forward position that really worries you, especially outside of Ryan Dunn. Who else is playing that position? Nigel Hayes Davis. I think the Suns would lean towards their younger player that they drafted. Can Rasheir Fleming come out right away and shoot 38% from three and be a serviceable defender? Because if he does, not only is he going to be in line for rookie of the year votes, but he’s going to be the most featured rookie for the Phoenix Suns this season. He is closer to his ceiling. He shoots the three ball pretty effectively.
