Can’t recall the last time I’ve seen a Titans QB sling the ball quite like this

  1. Just praying that either Callahan locks tf in, or they make a quick decision on his future to not ruin ward.

  2. He’s just a fucking pleasure to watch throwing the ball. I feel like we’ve got our guy. He’s just got that vibe.

  3. That footwork seems pretty bad but he’s for sure getting the ball there so who am I to judge lol

  4. I remember some of Brett farves WR saying they had to get used to catching throws that would bruise their hands. Definitely getting those vibes from Cam

  5. I can’t recall the Titans having a WR like Ayomanor look so promising in their first game with that elbow catch that the refs and Callahan fucked up. I want to see the catch probability for that catch. Helm looked great too. Would be funny if Ayomanor ends up being the AJ Brown replacement as a 4th rounder. Titans were down 1 point and that catch would have been a first down on 2nd and 20.

  6. He looked DAMN good when we have him a clean pocket too! I don’t expect the pass catchers to drop that many passes moving forward. I also think Can will get better at setting protections which will help the OL out quite a bit. Still lots of room to grow but I’m with you, plenty to be excited about!

  7. Man, I know he took 6 sacks yesterday, but by NFL standards these pockets look pretty decent.

I also saw a ton of long developing routes or even three man routes where the guys are just blanketed and instead of running, Cam takes the sack. Better than a pick, and easily fixed through coaching and better play calling. I’m a lot more positive about yesterday than most, but we have some adjustments to make.

  8. I have 0 complaints about Cam’s game yesterday. The few miscues are completely expected from a rookie QB, especially in his first start against a top defense. Outside of that one seam route to Ridley that he barely got a finger on, Ward was throwing catchable balls, often into extremely tight windows because the receivers generated little separation. The accuracy is clearly there and the decision making was also very good for a first start. The talk about too much zip on the balls seems overblown to me.

  9. I can’t believe that first one wasn’t a catch. So many opportunities to change the course of the game and we couldn’t capitalize on one.

  10. Hate Levis all you want, but he had an absolute cannon and makes Cam’s arm look pretty normal
