Cam and some of the young guys have huge upside. Our offensive staff and head coach have a long way to go.
Helm caught that mfing pass
Cam is ready for the next step but everyone else is 2 steps back.
Gunnar needs a minimum of 7 targets a game. And let’s get Bryce Oliver the ball more, seems like he’s our only wr who can consistently catch regardless of situation
No OC, No line, no receivers against a top 5 defensive unit on the road. Cams first start was as fine as it could be.
Number 1 defense in the NFL last year… outside of Callahan not knowing the fucking rules for a catch and drops… I thought there was a lot of good to take away yesterday.
I agree, also fk that new ball placement challenge crap
If the coaches didn’t 💩 the bed at the half, and Ridley makes just a couple of catches, that game could have been a W.
I thought there were a TON of positives from that game. That’s what made the loss so frustrating.
Ward – as advertised. Calm under pressure, good in the pocket, decently accurate, good decision making. Needs to cleans up the moving backwards, but that was always going to be an issue and will come with time.
Defense – the defense was electric. Didn’t look like the empty stat bunch from last year.
Rookies – Helm and Ayomanor didn’t look like super stars, but they’re probably quality starters. Dike was solid in the return game. Femi wasn’t good, but better than I expected.
Ridley – got open down field a decent bit, and that’s all I’m saying about it. Being positive.
OL – still not good, but I thought we looked a bit better in pass pro.
Special Teams – no problems there for the most part. Which is a huge improvement.
We could not have done more absolutely brain dead shit if we tried, and we were never out of that game in the most hostile environment against a quality team. Callahan and Ridley tighten things up a bit and we might win a few games this year.
Its gonna be difficult on him because we know he doesnt have a good offense around him. His stats won’t be great this year and they are gonna eat a lot of Ls. It is what it is.
Defender in your face on the third step is crazy. Good call out
This clip is why I wanted an actual offensive staff, to work away those happy feet. We wasted an entire season of critical development for a coach who doesn’t even know basic football rules.
I remember people on here came for my head when I told them Ridley is good but not a elite wr. We have many many issues to fix for the next few years, but to think we would go anywhere in this league with him being our number 1 is insane. He would be a great number 2 though.
Calvin prob feeling like shit rn… really believe he wants to be there for Ward.
Team is unfortunately being held back by their coach.
i need more gunner helm targets so nice to watch
Ridley dropped passes he should’ve kept
These idiots couldn’t catch a cold
I’m just ecstatic that it looks like we have a legit NFL quarterback. Those are a lot harder to find than a competent coach.
Oh, and a couple clutch NWI catches and we would’ve won. 🙂
Cam > Callahan
I really think coaches should listen to the fans. We have an outside perspective. Every one of us would have told Cally to take Ridley out or not pass deep in our endzone before the half.
Last drive his wide receiver drop everything
Where were the vet wr’s we signed? Where was Lockett and Jefferson?
Jags fan here (go ahead and flame me and downvote) Cam Ward is a legit dude you have there. Rest of your offense and coaching, not so much.
I think the chemistry will build and we’ll have a decent lil team
Im not a titans fan and definitely am not a Callahan fan. But I don’t get how more people aren’t seeing the clear positives around cam ward. The broncos are most likely ending this season with the #1 defense, quite literally throwing a rookie deep into a volcano. He will be the reason this team turns around, as long as Callahan is fired eventually
He outplayed Bo Nix(idk how much that really says)
