Highlights from ALL GAMES on 9/8! (Glasnow’s 7 hitless innings, Tatis Jr. walks it off & MORE!)

looking to get the double digits with only a couple of walks. 10 strikeouts for Tyler Glass now. Six no hit innings. Strikes out the side here in the six. So the tying run moves 90 ft closer. 90 ft away. Freddy Freeman up. Can Freeman come through a bouncer that gets over Farmer Wen to score? It’s tied at one on the 3-2. Got him swinging with the slider. Seven no hit innings for Tyler Glass now as the bullpen takes over after his seven no hit innings. It’s Blake Trin. So the Dodgers are three outs away from a combined no hitter. And now it’s Tanner Scott trying to finish off a combined no hitter. And at the plate, Ryan Ritter driven it to deep left field and that’ll break it up. And now the Rockies will get the tying run to the plate on a leadoff double by Ryan Ritter against Scott. And you can hear the boobirds. Scott’s had a tough week. Two gone in the ninth. One out to get for Tanner Scott. Goodman pulls it to third. Muny’s got it. That’s the game. Tanner Scott gets the save. First of four between these teams. And the Phillies have to deal with all these injuries. Alec Bone going on the injured list. Trey Turner. You know, the big guys in the lineup, Bryce, Kyle, those guys are going to have to really pick up for Trey and Bow and Marsh. Kepler goes first to third on the base hit by Bader. And now Mlan in a spot where he could use a strikeout as he faces Nick Costatos who loves to go after the first pitch. Punch pass first. It’s a base hit and Nick Castanos puts the Phillies on the board. It’s one to nothing. Mlan, who has allowed six hits, all singles, has been resourceful. Two walks in the inning, three on the night for Mlan. So first and third, two out. Here’s Kepler who had a base hit in the second. Got him looking at a fast ball side retired. Mlan works around a couple of walks. Aaron, who enjoyed a lot of success against the Bets early in his career in the last 11 outings, including the playoffs, two and eight, but he certainly has made some nice adjustments tonight. And now NMO swinging a miss, struck him out. and Aaron Nola with six scoreless innings to open the series against the Mets. Two men out. Lindor the tying run. So the go-ahead run at the plate. Diving stop made by Sto gets to his feet and the inning is over and Bryson pulls it in and puts away Juan Sto. Joan Don looking for some redemption not so long ago. He gave up four straight hits to the Mets and lost in a walk-off in New York. He’ll face Pete Alonzo, Brandon NMO, and Mark Vientos down the right field line. Castanos on the run. He’s not going to get there. It’s a one hop off the wall. Mauricio will be held at third. Will be second and third with one out. Swing and a miss. Mcneel down on the fast ball. He’s got one more man to get. It’s Francisco Alvarez, who’s always been a thorn in the Phillies side. And the O2 pitch. Swing and a miss. He got him. And the Phillies have shot out the Mets one- nothing in game one of this four game series. The Rangers went four innings without sniffing a base runner. And Kintano hardly had to work in those first four. He’s shown more pitches in this inning than he did in the third and fourth combined. The other story line to revisit is just the way that this inning start with Bryce Tang having missed a foul popup. Well, you know Tang, that that’s all that’s on his mind right now. Helman in the middle of a two for9 at the plate, hitting just 217 on the season. First time in his career he’s come to the plate with a runner on every base. The Rangers, they’re allergic to grand slams, or so it would seem. There’s a swing and a drive deep to left. That one is gone. And there’s that grand slam. the kid from Nebraska. The Rangers on the board in this game with four big runs and they are on the board for the 2025 season in the grand slam column. Well hit ball at 103 and he pulls it to third. Sliding stop Young. The long throw in time. They get Cheriel one away in the ninth but 3-2 and a comebacker knocked down by Martin. He shovels to first. This one is over. The Rangers have shut out the Milwaukee Brewers. Nolan Jones, ninth man to bat in the inning. Jones plunged one toward left center field. It’s well hit. It’s in the alley. It’ll go to the wall. It’s a two-run double for Nolan Jones. And the route is over. Slade Sakone. He’s got a no hitter through seven. And there’s the first hit of the game for Kansas City. The pitch to Isel swung on. Ground ball headed to second. Schnean throws over 100 pitches, eight shut out innings of one hit baseball. Sakonei Fredle leads it off. He’s on base in 17 straight, a careerhigh. That’s cracked to right field. Tatis curling corner and that is gone. A leadoff shot for Fredel now on base in a careerhigh 18 straight. His 12th of the campaign. It’s one- nothing Reds. And Da Cruz hit the ball pretty hard but grounded out to first base his first time. grounded up the metal. Base hit. Two out. Riby for Ellie de La Cruz. Reds get another. It’s two nothing. Jackson Melo in a big spot. Two outs. M right center field. Back goes Fredo on the right. He goes off his glove and around. Two runs will score. Sometimes you need a little luck on your side. This ball hung up in the air awfully long as the Padres’s tie this game up at three apiece. Batist has the only walk-off home run of the year by a Padre. doesn’t need a homer here. And in the air to left center fields going over, makes the catch. Here comes Conorth. Here comes a walk-off win. Padres’s win it. Sack fly from Nando. It’s 10. Nice finish for the Padres. We’ve seen that breaking ball more tonight for the finishing pitch. Yeah, after those two hard hit balls, he started to go to that little sweeper and slide her down and away to those right-handed hitters. Next strike out would match a career best from Brian Woo. We’ve seen him numerous times this year in fact strike out nine batters. He got him up in the attic. A huge strikeout line off the glove of win. Reebots is in. Everybody else up the station. Naylor plugs this out to center field and it short hops the wall. Randy is in. Called he thunders home. Julio play at the plate. Throw gets him in plenty of time. He is out, but the Mariners have taken the lead. Well, James could use an answer that. I mean, that was an ugly, ugly top of the second inning. Curve ball. There’s a high drive deep right field back at the wall looking up. Goodbye. Well, that’s how you answer back. Here’s Ramos. High drive left field out of air. And now this is a fiveun inning for the Giants who lead it nine to four. And it’s drilled high and deep into a left field. Forget about it. Story launches and the Red Sox lead it one to nothing. Swing that one cracked high and deep left center field. That one is way way back there and she is gone. Home run Carlos Narvay. Backto back Ks to finish the seventh and 10k Ks. Seven shutout innings. And how about a standing ovation in Sacramento for Garrett Crochet. And two down here in the bottom of a scoreless first inning. Azie comes to the plate. The last time Azie saw Imanaga, he hit a homer. And Azie gives this a ride out to center field. Castro’s back and Azie stays hot. He just unloaded both barrels on Emmaaga again. And here comes Drake Baldwin. And Drake Baldwin to the gap in right center. Where’s that one going to go? Off the wall. It’s an RBI double for Baldwin. And they have been teeing off these last three batters. Let’s see what Ronald can do. Baldwin is being waved home. The throw from half. He’s safe and it’s three nothing Braves on the single by Ronald Akuna. Bryce Elder tonight. He rattled the Cubs cage big time. Second straight start where he was dominant against the Northsiders. He’s figured something out over these last couple of weeks, let’s say couple of months. And unfortunately for the Cubs, they’ve had to face him twice. Matt Olsen at the plate. Savali deals. Matt Olsen with a fly ball to deep center field. Castro to the wall. That’s reaching and gone. It’s now 4-1 Braves. And in a big yard, the Nets are putting on quite a power display tonight. And the Nationals continue to pour it on. The Nationals brought the Big Bats down here to South Florida. They put a hurt on the Marlins. And the Nets have taken this game in Miami and blasted it wide open, tying their largest offensive output of the year. And the Nationals win the ball game 15-7. Quite an offensive onslaught. And Kane Kavali good enough to get him his third major league win. And now Royce Lewis, who grew up and went to high school about a half an hour from here as he drives it to center field, hit pretty well. This will send Teodosio back to the wall. Jumps up and it’s gone. How about that? First swing at Angel Stadium results in a home run. Marty takes off and Lewis is swinging a drive into left field and deep. Back it goes. And he’s done it again. Royce Lewis. Now two multih homer games this season. He gave the Twins an early lead today. Gives them the lead back here in the fifth and it’s now 53.
