Solomon Thomas: No Time to Dwell | Dallas Cowboys 2025

Is it easier to move on because you been through these things before? Definitely. You can’t dwell on a loss. You don’t have time for that. You don’t have time to sulk in a loss and especially week one. It’s it’s the first game of the season. We showed some great things. We showed some things we got to get better at. That’s all we can do. Like, you know, we got a game coming up on Sunday. That’s all you can focus on is the Giants and getting that win. And that’s all our focus is today. Correcting Philly and moving on to the Giants and being the best team we can be. What do you take from a bunch of new guys together on that interior Dline from game one that you can take into game two? Um, I was proud of how the guys played. I thought they played hard, played well. Um, you know, like I was saying, like there’s things to improve on, but you know, just game one type stuff, but um, proud of the physicality, proud of the effort, and, you know, just showing what guys what we can do. You guys don’t didn’t do much in preseason and that when you talk about the physicality, how do you know for sure that, you know, you guys are going to come out and be a physical football team? Just the the message camp, that’s how we did camp all year long. Uh, came out was physical. Um, every everyone in the Dline was that was our message. That was coach Wcon’s message. Come out, be as physical as you can be. Um, you have a physical camp to have a physical season. Like, so like we didn’t even though we didn’t play in the preseason games. We that’s how we practice. So, we knew we’re going to come out and be as physical as we could be. What will this game mean for you to be home game Dallas Cowboy back here where you’ll be awesome. I mean, I love being from Dallas. Love being in Dallas. Uh, just coming back playing my hometown, you know. Uh, it’s just another game to me, but it still means a lot playing in front of my hometown people, my family, my fiance, all the people that I love. So, uh, I’m super excited to be playing at home. How many ticket requests for this one? Um, just right now, just my parents and my fiance so far. So, uh, haven’t got any any crazy things right now, but I know during the season it’ll get pretty crazy. So, you cut them up. You cut them. I’m I’m I’m trying to keep it trying to keep the stress low. Did you ever get your first Did you ever get a high ticket account, huh? Did you ever get a high ticket account before? Um, I’ve played in Dallas twice before and because it was only like one time or I’ve only played in Dallas twice in my career, so I would invite a lot of people, but now that I’m playing here, I’m I’m holding my breath. Do you remember your first game at the stadium? Like did Capel play there? Yeah. So, it was actually in high school my freshman year. Um, I was on one on varsity, played two snaps, and then actually last game in high school was uh at Dallas Cowboy Stadium 2. We lost to Dodto in the second round of playoffs. Was that how cool was that moment though to be high school kid playing there? Uh, it was super cool. You know, you play there with a dream of being able to play there as as a pro one day and you know, I’m blessed and fortunate enough to be able to do so and I can’t wait to, you know, go take advantage of it and and play my heart out for my team. So, it kind of brings it full circle a little bit. Definitely. Definitely. I appreciate you guys.
