With the future of the Northern Colorado Owlz/Colorado Springs Sky Sox team future unknown, it seems this league is having issues. It has a great history in many of the mountain towns it plays in but I wonder if being an independent level is hurting them.
Once that team was no longer affiliated with the Rockies attendance really went down.
I went to a jackalopes game earlier this summer with my family. Tickets were only $5 and we had a pretty good time. Was nice to watch baseball without any gambling advertising.
RIP CHUBBIES, and good riddance.
It’s too bad, love that stadium. GJ Rox should come back but maybe a pipedream.
This is such a bummer. No minor league ball in Colorado and likely having two of our three PBL teams leaving the state.
