Cam wasn’t perfect, but I loved what I saw. He has poise and attitude that we never saw from Levis. I just hope we don’t ruin him.

The one guy who did the boring stuff 10/10, who catches everything, played with ward in college, had the most yards of all receivers in Miami with ward in 2024, who went out of his way to sign with the team that drafted ward, who practiced with ward in after hours to get more and more reps in….
Didn’t get any preseason looks with ward whatsoever and was cut and signed to the practice squad.
Callahan. You stink.
Love the arm talent, the pocket awareness, the ability to direct the offense – all wonderful.
But his poise is all world. It feels like piling on at this point to contrast him to Levis, but after the last couple of years, someone that rock steady and unshakable being at the helm is giving me such a warm and fuzzy.
I just feel bad this roster is such absolute cheeks around him.
I agree with Dan about taking a little heat off of some of the throws 😂 BUT HEY, they were still catchable.
I said months ago that Cam has a Favre type arm! Is he going to break receivers’ fingers? We will see!

Dude I’ve been a titans fan since 99. Every qb I’ve seen us draft, I never got the feeling that they were franchise worthy besides maybe Mariota .
This guy looks elite. Pocket awareness in that first game looked amazing along with his placement . Most balls delivered were him throwing receivers open and in places where it was either gonna be reception or an incomplete pass.
I try not to get too excited but we might have our best qb since McNair. Also , I’d give Callahan until week 8. We played probably best defense in the league in week 1. Beyond excited .
I absolutely hate Dan Orlovsky’s breakdowns. He is so glaringly biased at times that I cannot put any stock in anything he says, so even if he is saying good things I have to ignore it.
