We Traveled to Colorado to go to the Avalanche vs Sabres Game | 4 in 4 Episode 1

what is up you guys welcome to another video today is an exciting one for me because we are in Denver Colorado to go to a Colorado Avalanche game this is really cool because this is the first stop in a series of four NHL Arenas in four nights and so the next four nights we are going to be in NHL Arenas and I’ve never been to a game here with the ABS and so I’m excited to check out what a game experience is like here in Colorado later on you’re going to see what the atmosphere is like check this [Music] out but here we are now and you might be wondering if you’re going on this epic road trip what did it take for you to get here it has been a journey we’ve had an amazing experience so far so let’s throw it back to yesterday when we left Atlanta Georgia to head here to Denver to watch this game it is time ever since the NHL schedule came out in July we have been planning this road trip and the day is finally today when we’re going to leave to go explore four NHL Arenas in four nights I am beyond excited about this so ail and I are about to hit the road head to the airport and get rolling to Denver Colorado for the first game of this series oh we got to let the music play M what the people we are officially in the airport now if you don’t know what we’re doing we’re starting out on an epic road trip where we’re doing four NHL Arenas in four nights here’s the plan we are leaving today from Atlanta in flying to Denver while in Denver we are going to go to the Colorado Avalanche versus Buffalo Sabers game the next morning Bri and early we’re flying to Seattle where we’re going to drive up to Vancouver where we’ll go to the Nashville Predators versus Vancouver Canuck game the next day we’re going to drive to Seattle where we’ll go to the Seattle Kraken versus Edmonton Oilers game and the next morning we’re going to fly to Anaheim where we’ll go to the Anaheim Duck versus Tampa Bay Lightning game and so we’re here at the Atlanta airport about to have flight one to Denver let’s go board our plane in the country for day we’ll be happy Weise and we’ll dance we officially landed in Denver this is actually the only stop of the trip we’re not staying at a hotel we are staying with my aunt and uncle who live just outside the city in Castle Rock so we’re going to hang out with some family and go to the game tomorrow feeling good feeling bad W baby we are officially at the home with my aunt and uncle and so we will see you tomorrow as we get ready to go to this hockey game we have about 2 hours till we’re going to leave for the game so we’re going toe to downtown Castle Rock kind of check out the sites and sounds of downtown Castle Rock here it’s very Charming a great place to visit we’ll do that eat some dinner and then we’ll head to ball Arena to watch the Sabers and abs surounding careful and the cloud is growing [Music] bigger what do we think of the Hat do we like the Hat I kind of like the [Music] hat to the music all right the time has finally come after all the travel after Bing some Castle Rock it is now time to go to this game at ball Arena ABS versus sabes super excited for this aill and I go to games all the time together but today we’re going with one other person a family member himself Uncle Matthew he’s from Nova Scotia Canada introduced me to the game of hockey so I wouldn’t be making these videos was for this guy so he’s an ABS fan oh yeah I love the ABS in fact I grew up in Canada and didn’t have a team in Halifax to cheer for and so when Nathan m Kennon came to Colorado that was the greatest present ever so now we’re going to go watch Nathan McKinnon Kell marar all the stars let’s hop in the car and get roll we’ve officially arrived here at the game in the parking lot now the benefit of traveling with a guy who lives here is he knows the spot to park so it’s like 20 bucks which is actually pretty good for stadium parking but we’re right next to the arena check this out look at this oh what a Skyline by the way I don’t I don’t know I’ve seen Denver at night before but there’s the arena right over here right over there so that’s pretty exciting I’ll tell you what I love the way this looks from the outside with the LED lights and things like that uh very easy to get to we are incredibly early but Jan’s already lining up to head over to the game look at this I know I already said this but the LEDs look awesome on the side there those are rolling it’s a much quieter as we approach like quieter than like what you’re getting coming off Broadway in Nashville or off the strip and Vegas but there’s something really nice about it she like I want to come watch a hockey game I love that projection on the side of the building that’s pretty cool oh yeah all right we are in oh this is this is great I love like these big open four years like this at any Arena I go to that’s a cool little sculpture up in there so everyone has to go up the escalator to get to the seats that’s interesting because you’re coming down okay cool yeah I like it let’s go check it out look at the wave of ABS fans ready to watch some hockey I love it we’re in section 114 so what I do is I always go like check out my seats see what the feel is and then we go explore First Impressions it’s nice it’s a nice spot this is an interesting like Concourse setup because like it doesn’t feel super modern um but it feels like nice if that makes sense it honestly gives me like Florida Panthers Vibes like in the sense of like do you agree with that like it feels like it’s from the Florida Panthers era and like the way they have it set up which is probably not what I expected milia just said this but it maybe comes off a little bit of like a mall Vibe but once again like I don’t think that’s a negative thing like American Airlines Center in Dallas feels like a hotel that’s not a negative thing it just is different 114 here we go oh boy oh boy look at this woo this is awesome oh I love it exciting going to a ring for the first time it is it is exciting going to a ring for the first time I’ve never been here this is awesome me check that out immediately just walking in you see the retired jerseys here some just Legends here in Colorado Peter forsburg Nashville Legend got guys like Patrick Wall just all these guys Legends Joe sack is kind of hidden you got the other banners over here but just like the history of this team so good um if I swing over here just more I mean it’s unbelievable and I like it when Arenas have like these other like little screens in the corners I think that adds you know like especially probably for the upper bowl quite a bit to the the in-game experience but this is going to end up being a really good spot to watch a hot game we’re far from the other net but close down here so that’ll be exciting all right now we go explore a little bit check out more of the Arena maybe even head upstairs see what it’s like if you want to sit up top here at a game of ball Arena all right so we got this little bag for free with our ticket look at that SHP it’s Sherpa and it’s abs are you going to use that today wow it has pockets that’s awesome waa look at that comp to the cuz small that’s brilliant all right I love it sounds good let’s keep exploring these type of things that places are great cuz then then you can just step in grab what you want walk out pay for it that’s a great setup a lot of Arenas are doing that nowadays all right this has to be a meet and greet with Bernie right you’ve got a fire hydrant a dog bowl like a barrel cuz he’s St Bernard so you had the barrel yeah that’s cool when we were in Vegas their mascot took his mouth and bit aila’s head oh no it was crazy that’s a that’s a neat little area feels Hy okay so something we’re noticing about this arena is they have so many treats like I wish that I could put the smell through your your TV right now or your phone or whatever and let you smell how good this smells but like everywhere we look there’s a treat so we might have to get a treat for research we’re heading upstairs to see what the upper Bowl is like here at ball Arena honestly the upstairs looks very similar to the downstairs here’s a better view of this piece of art hanging that’s pretty cool right there if you uh want to sit up a bowl here you go you can get a good view so I’m walking up the stairs right now less steep than most Arenas that’s an interesting an interesting tip bit so if you want to buy a cheap ticket in this house what’s it going to look like for you and honestly it’s a good seat check this out I actually made big a fan of this obviously you’re higher up but man oh man like it’s a great view here’s just a general sweeping view of the Arena it’s really nice to look at one thing I love is like they have these slats here and you’re like I don’t care what that is that covers the concrete bleachers in a lot like I have to like angle a certain way a lot of places don’t do that but man it makes this stadium look so much better so I always appreciate that when Arena does that um this upper bowl area is very nice I’m a huge fan of it it’s a little bit tight all uper bows are also I’m blown away at the amount of Buffalo Sabers fans are saying it’s a long flight from Buffalo to here so the fact that there are that many here is kind of shocking every staff member I’ve interacted with has been amazing also warm-ups are while we’re over here we can’t see this from our seat but you’ve got the Stanley Cup champion banners right there that is so cool Champions baby Mr Softy the helmets that you can get the hockey goal [Music] helmets look at that what’s going on I hear like a drum line of some sort it’s like they’re going upstairs we got to check this out [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] wo [Applause] that’s cool that’s unique um I’ve never seen that before in NH rig Vegas play do some stuff like that actually I’ve been to Vegas since 19 so it’s been a few years all righty check this out boy looks great in here their lights in here are so bright they look amazing the ice looks great as a Nashville fan it’s kind of funny to see uh Wedgewood right here there he is Nathan McKinnon from Nova Scotia Tada when you’re from Nova Scotia there aren’t many of you so now there’s only a million people in Nova Scotia and you think about it two of the greatest players in the NHL right now Sydney Crosby and Nate McKinnon are from Cole Harbor Nova Scotia and Brad Marans from right down the road from them I love that guy here’s your other incredible player right here kale ma this dude’s insane I love watching taale play so the last time these two teams played it was a crazy game I for I actually watched this game Buffalo went up 4 nothing cuz Avalanche had terrible go tending back in the early part of the Season ABS came back in one in regulation it was crazy uh very exciting I love looking at ice as it kind of fre freezes from this angle it’s cool uh-oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] W [Music] fre your features visiting bu neighbors and your Colorado [Applause] [Music] it’s that [Music] do let’s go that looks cool [Music] [Applause] that’s cool trasting Bo that’s funny w [Applause] [Music] and now here are tonight’s starters for the app starting at center from Cole haror Nova Scotia number 29 oh boy Alberta number eight h [Applause] you see by the dawn ofy light what so proudly we at the Twilight last and The Rock the bombs bursting can never proof through night that oh s that star the of the free the home of the [Music] [Applause] wo fly over that’s [Music] awesome and here we go about to be underway here in Colorado Nathan McKinnon and we’re [Music] rolling go go that’s [Music] cool I love this so much [Music] that’s in the 300s if I zoom out that’s very cool it’s been a pretty back and forth good hockey game so far it really has been this I believe is the bow and bym thank you video [Applause] right crowd here loves it good player something I’m noticing so far is like you really feel here the hockey fandom the game is about hockey I like that as a hockey fan like that’s what I long for oh McKinnon just almost sniped it I can’t express like this arena is stunning from this angle it’s just really a good place and this place is packed it’s awesome great atmosphere here hockey atmosphere we love of the drums in the top that’s super [Applause] [Music] [Applause] cool oh there’s a goal saber fan right here that was a nice play there Jason Zucker hey after a goal they get the building going let’s go ABS kind of re-engage him that stuff that’s really cool and says a lot of about a fan base I love that they called them the S Squad this is super cool I love it and just like that the Savers have a two nothing lead Scott Wedgewood I’m sorry a Predators fan is here this potentially has cursed you Owen byon with the goal on that he returns pretty big man that’s pretty big he returns it was it was pretty filthy too it looks it tucked it in all right we’re going to go find a treat now into the period two nothing Savers Amilia needs some ice cream doesn’t sound too bad to me if you ask that me Mr Softy is what’s calling us but the line is calling a lot of people I mean this looks incredible how do you feel about that good M wow Lo Matthew how your Dipping Dots I love my Dipping Dots what flavor did you get I got Banana Split interesting Choice yeah it’s really good you know it’s funny you can only get Dipping Dots at events so you might as well eat it if you can they’re always good oh yeah we have Mr Softy Emilia how’s yours it’s delicious yeah mine’s really good too love it about ready to roll in the second UKC lanin is actually a pretty big dude we got this water with our ice cream and it’s crazy it’s got nugs on one side as on the other but it’s like aluminum it’s very very cold like my hand is cold with electrolytes W no wonder it was so expensive ooh this is awkward World Junior scores oh it breaks my heart I love Canada but I am an American citizen now so now you can cheer for America yeah but when it comes to hockey I have to made I’m pretty partial okay yep but hey oh they tied it up USA one big today everybody literally Ducker just scored to make it 3 nothing now I want you to imagine that the same thing that happened here earlier on a just happened again down there and that’s that’s how it happens and so you have a uh 3 nothing lead for the Buffalo I mean look at this it’s same same thing how are the ab letting that happen okay last time we saw the Buffalo saber on the road we were in Florida and they were up and then the Florida Panthers came back and won maybe tonight this has gotten fun I got their best yeah here it is this is the Line This Is The Line This is the five kale Mar oh kale kale unbelievable wow wow [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that was a yeah it was that was awesome that was a woo kale that’s why you oh kale Mar is my number two must-watch player in the National Hockey League he’s oh back do it come on do it oh wow here we go feeling it right now they’re feeling it oh yeah understand the energy coming back into this building it’s loud it’s Rowdy this is awesome I do love this this is I want to watch this so it’s 3-1 at the end of the period and now we get like a relay race which looks exciting I love how the goali is end [Music] it [Music] oh lost Edge it’s you want to try yeah I think I can win okay yeah we should go skating more all right now it’s time to go buy a puck we got 15 minutes let’s do this Puck acquir kind of like and they come in these cases it’s a nice little it’s a nice little thing right there it’s awesome so far first Arena on this road trip has been amazing like if you told me oh you got to come watch your game here every night I would um it it is absolutely an electric Barn to watch some hockey it got crazy out mle so I’m excited to see kind of what this looks like moving forward what is this this is we’re getting close to the the third wa wa this is pre3 period this is cool [Music] oh I got about [Applause] [Music] [Applause] this that is cool I love that here we go start of the third is now there it is right off the bat a within one [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] is that the song no hey hey hey that’s a [Music] blast scor by [Applause] number whoa whoa whoa hurt [Applause] hurt KNE to the side of the leg oh no this is vicious yeah they scored there’s no way you can count this there’s no way you can count this if they count this goal it is straight wrong they C oh boy they need to they need to wipe this goal off so there’s definitely a goal but like look at this so he goes here I think Wedgewood gets hurt wedgewood’s still down just now standing up and so they’re going to help wetwood off the ice here but the officials are talking this over here let’s see hold on hold on let’s see here the call on the ice is a call the call [Applause] you can’t injure a play a goalie and then wow this is potentially the worst call I’ve ever seen that that was atrocious wedgewood’s in the dressing room right now due to injury I there for like 30 seconds it was obvious he yeah yeah that’s that’s bad I cannot believe they are counting this go go look this up have you haven’t seen this January 2nd Colorado unbelievable neighbor’s fourth goal bananas bad unbelievably bad this oh my goodness that’s a bad call I actually normally like this officiating crew but that’s one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen in hockey you can like smack the goalie injure him and then just score who cares yeah so next time you get knocked into the goalie like hit him as hard as you can yeah okay looks like they’re hold on see here here’s my fear I think what they’re going to say is that the Colorado player pushed the Buffalo player into Wedgewood which then injured him saying it’s not gender interference but I don’t know how they can I don’t know this is this is tough the play should there should have been an intent to blow based on the injury on the ice that’s my take yeah he’s obviously hurt he’s not in it’s the play is moving on and he’s laying there obviously he can’t play like call The Whistle he’s obviously hurt he’s not just trying to fake it to stop the play I think they’re going to count it as a good goal though I think they will y the call on the ice is [Music] confirmed now the ABS have to okay now the ABS have to kill a penalty this is not good for the game because now the ABS are going to take avenge revenge on their goal yeah ukuk needs to watch out they’re just going to ram their goal oh my goodness this is crazy this is [Applause] unbelievable so angry in my life they are losing it [Applause] here this could either fire the ABS up or just emotionally destroy them gotten scored on twice on the penalty kill these are hard to kill when you’re emotional zucker’s in his spot that look at Taz has learned his lesson oh oh big save on the Breakaway by Uka oh oh hooking shot for Hing all right here go four on4 this is where McKinnon and marar shine this is McKinnon show yes yes yeah it just went to four on three and then five on three this is awesome hockey is such a good sport I just made a good point this feels like a playoff game like in just the atmosphere this is awesome their goali is about to see more rubber than k i dead raccoon on a New York Highway no out of play out of [Applause] play these officials are the most hated in Denver right now this is awesome unbelievable what a hockey game his stick broke oh no he’s [Applause] back W and there wasn’t w [Music] let’s go hey hey hey hey [Applause] hey hey hey hey grandday from the K and the at 47 master [Applause] I just saw yo parsan and genuinely totally forgot he played for Colorado that was like a couple days ago he got traded here we have not seen him much this game but for you natural people who watching this video that’s interesting a million I were talking it’s going to be hard for us on this road trip to beat this atmosphere this game like we’ll see what the other games have in store but like this is one of the best teams in the league fighting from behind with an incredible atmosphere just so impressive here in in Denver loud loud loud I was at Ohio State Tennessee playoff game uh a couple weeks ago I think that this atmosphere is better and I’m not just saying that like it’s just loud intense these fans are unbelievable all right real quick I’m going to take a quick break [Music] go there it is oh 10 [Applause] [Music] [Applause] seconds W6 seconds unbelievable no [Applause] way this sport wow [Applause] unre wow woo [Applause] wo [Applause] wow wow this is unbelievable wow overtime [Applause] unbel this is one of the best regular season atmospheres I’ve ever heard in my life unbelievable this is an amazing game unbelievable I I can’t believe I’m here this is insane and the ABS win the face off we have AB shooting here [Applause] unbelievable that’s whaton be right there that [Applause] w w w unbelievable what an atmosphere what a game it was that it was [Applause] that wow that was a hockey game w [Applause] wow wow winning goal what a hockey game this atmosphere is so good all right wo that was incredible I don’t even have words for that I think you probably saw our reaction like while that game was happening one of the best hockey game if not the best hockey game I’ve ever been to but this building was electric I mean it felt like a playoff atmosphere throughout this game it was unbelievable these fans are incredible they care so much and what I love is that it’s just about the game and this Avalanche team shows out and the fans are there to support them this is one of my favorite Arenas I’ve ever been to in terms of game experience in terms of feel in terms of the city that surrounds it come to a game in Colorado if you ever
