Tigers vs. Yankees Game Highlights (9/9/25) | MLB Highlights
There’s a little bit of a fall feel in the air, not quite there yet, but the Yankees aren’t preparing for October. So that will be in the equation as well. The Yankees playing very good baseball as they have won 18 of their last 25 games that since August 11th giving them the best record in baseball should be a fun series. Tigers are 82 and 62. The Yankees are 8063 will Warren towing the slab, the boogie down Bronx here tonight be his 30th start on the year. That is something a milestone and 17 home runs given up 60 to 153 wants to strikeout, breaking ball swing and a miss by that, that sweeper, it’s turned into one of the best in the league. Warren starts the game with a strike out with a nice hand for tours and he steps out of his helmet. Beautiful. See now that is knowing your audience and they got louder as he tipped. That’s exactly right. Had some great years here played in some big big ball games. Three and two that is labeled to left field and down on one hop over the wall. Glaber torres in his return to Yankee stadium in his first at bat has a double that was really running in on his hands but Glaber somehow was able to make that adjustment. They get the Tigers a runner in scoring position. Tap softly right side. Rice to Warren two away as torres moves to 3rd 32 home runs , 100 and three ribbies for Green 32 pitch, the great swing and a Miss Danny second strikeout for Will Warren. That’s a 108 strike out for the league leader Green Tiger starting pitcher casey casey coming up that really good start against the Mets going five innings just allowing that one run. And hopefully we’ll see the same kind of stuff, especially that fastball one and two swing and a miss that is your regular splitter if that’s regular one down. Well, maybe they got the scouting report on that really good fastball from Casey M because these split fingers, they’re way out in front and they’re thinking they’re fastballs and Then the bottom drops out judge with 358 home runs. That’s lifetime and 43 on the season. High drive right center field. See you number three, he’s in sole possession of fifth place breaking the tie and the Yankees lead off the side of Carlo Stan , the extreme close, even more close than it used to be swing. And miss, I like the fact that they haven’t shied away from the splitter after the judge home run. He knows he needs that pitch, but Bobby, he hasn’t missed up with it since that is strike three top of the zone. A fastball at 96 fills it up two down. There we go. That’s a good one, soft ground ball to second base off the slur by the lefty austin Wells fielded by Torres flip over to first dispense to bounce back. Second inning. Here’s Trey Sweeney late entry into the lineup. Zack Mckinstry was in the original lineup, scratch with upper back soreness. I don’t think it’s anything long term high fly ball to right center. Did he get all of that? No, he didn’t. Grisham comes down for the second out and Warren loves it. Taking a home run away from Sweeney. I mean, he just cruises. He like he knows where the wall is uses it and that’s just a dynamite play right there. Aaron Judge Jerry Naar and he had to smile on his face like dude, I had this all the way. What a play one of the Yankees would go to the bottom of the third inning. That is strike three. It’s near the outside corner doesn’t like it a whole lot. Wave and a strike three. Then he goes to the breaking ball hard breaking ball again. That’s 92 on that slider two down and this one’s just enough movement to the glove side for Casey M in the fourth inning Yankees lead 1 to 0 on the strength of that judge home run. Bellinger tried to bunt his way out of the first deep to right. Perez turns looks into the second deck, a long home run for Bellinger and the Yankees lead 2 to 0 to two long balls. Cody Ballinger 28th on the year to do that one out. One on here is Parker Meadows. Meadows came back. Friday missed 34 games with the right quad strain. 25 years old. Third big league season high of the year. Right field judges back Parker Meadows is out of here deep to right field to tie the game. You got to really get on top of that ball, top hand, short swing. That’s what Parker Meadows can do when he’s right. That is a bullet home run to right field up the middle, grabbed there by Chisholm. The throw in a first nice play by the second baseman. Sometimes you just see play and you can see athleticism and that’s Jazz Chisholm right there to make the play. One thing because of his range to be able to use your arm strength up in the air and throw an absolute strike to first base. It’s a great play from the bottom of the fifth inning of a 2 to 2 game. Yankees have four hits. The Tigers have two, all the runs coming via the home run was in a jam but he gets to foul out on the bunt and Then strikes out Mcmahon Grisham struck out and a fly ball to center throws a lot of walks. Not a lot of strikeouts. 30, he does swing. Thank you very much. She pops it up. Parker Meadows comes in and he makes the catch in shallow center. Trentham flies out with Aaron Carry, Carpenter. 23 home runs. Be careful with this guy swing and a miss double up on that very effective strikeout. Warren had success. The Tigers pitchers had success against Aaron Judge staying right there, staying down and away. Strike three called, it’s a breaking ball that just nicked the corner and one away. I think aaron Judge thought this was going to keep going and go off the plate. But let’s see, Dylan Dengler just leave it right there and so subtly bring it in just slightly more to the center of the plate. Got a sinker low and away pitch. Number eight, some generous calls from Austin Jones all going Casey’s way and eight strikeouts for casey. The command is just not there and the bases are loaded for Parker Meadows and you know what that can mean in September line drive right field and the Tigers will take the lead RB I single Parker Meadows and the Tigers lead 3 to 2. He walked and the booze you hear from Yankees fans are because what they’ve been watching in the second half, two to zero for Trey Sweeney two swinging a high fly ball, shallow center field. This one might drop and it will , and everybody advances 90 ft. That is incredible. That was a ball should have been caught. The Tigers will take it. They lead it 5 to 2.I don’t know , I’ve seen an inning like this all year. Detroit has taken advantage of the one run at the time. Detroit up by six. What an inning? A 2 to 2 game is now an 8 to 2 game with a lot of unforced errors. What in the world just happened? This one is leveled to left center field and get worthy carry Carpenter. A two run, triple 10 to 2, a Yankee fan. You can’t be too happy right now. A nightmare inning to say the least. It’s the first three letters of the manager’s name. We heard a lot of chopper over the mound to second base. Chisholm will not get the double play. He gets an out at second. Carpenter scores. It’s run number 11 9 in the inning ties the season high from back in May against the Red Sox for the Tigers 1 to 2. He just fought it off, dribbled it to third, tough play. Not nearly in time. Parker Meadows booking it down the line. He has his second hit in the inning and his third hit of the night Mcmahon will step on the bag and the inning mercifully over. Not much to say that the Tigers have scored nine runs against three Yankee pitchers and they have a big lead. That is not exactly be a Picasso. It’s one of those nights where you start scanning the horizon to see if there’s a full moon or a black cat, short fly ball right field and nobody’s getting there slater wasn’t going to Grisham wasn’t IBA scores. It is 12 to 2. Riley Green drives in a run. Riley Green. just muscles that and with that uppercut doesn’t hit it on the ground. So gets under it enough to muscle it down into nowhere’s land just right in the middle of everybody. Right in that triangle of Yankee players groundball hit the Mcmahon the throw this time dugout nicely by Rice another run on the board. And if paddock closes this out, he’ll get a save and that will be his first major league save two down for Rice. First pitch swing, he golfs it left center field. That’s a long way to go for green and he flags it down to finish the first save of Chris Paddock’s career. But the headline tonight is the nine run seventh inning. The Tigers have nine batters come up to reach in a row before the first out of the inning. Just a well played game all the way around by the Tigers.

Lmao they must've been embarrassed to post this
Lol they reuploaded this game to correct the Yankees Homerun graphic at 2:30. The original upload had Joe DiMaggio at 631 and now its 361. Makes sense to adjust that I guess
Another umpiring clown show – all day, every day, every game – forget the "challenge system" just solve the problem altogether and bring in the abs system.

Iโd like to say Bennetti was right; i was with my black cat, Pugsley, when the game swung the Tigers way (black cats are good luck).
Not a good night for both NY teams

3rd time in baseball history that all 9 players on an MLB team scored a run in the same inning. Love it.
