That is somewhat good news that no surgery is likely needed
I have a shoulder I can give….
So…pretty much we won’t know until Friday if either is going to play.
Hoping we see a lot of 13 personnel then if both Royals and Worthy don’t play this week.
I would prefer that Worthy take the Tyreek approach and just go down or out of bounds prior to contact. I know that obviously wouldn’t have stopped this injury, and it isn’t considered the most manly, but he’s too valuable to be taking hits if he can avoid them.
Somebody out there has got to have a proper timeline for Worthy. I hate the day by day and week by week stuff.
Keeping the Eagles guessing
I think he’ll be back week 4 or 5
I feel like Worthy is in worse shape than they are leading us to believe.
God fucking dammit. How much longer are we going to have to wait until we get to see a fully healthly, competent, and dangerous receiving corp on this team. I’m probably overreacting but it’s been feeling like the chiefs have been slowly losing their offensive dominance since the second super bowl against the 49ers. Our defense of the last two years has likely run its course for the most part.
I’m not saying royals won’t be a good receiver. But we don’t really know how good he is yet so I’m not inclined to think our rookie WR is a make-or-break player for this game
Worthy is the bigger deal by far. It’s not impossible he plays but I think it’s very likely he sits at least a week or two because of inflammation
No surgery for Worthy is a W. Let’s see how the offense can adjust knowing he’s out. I expect the team to come out more energized after the last loss, and with the Eagles coming to Arrowhead
Hopefully Hollywood can step up big time
They’re being annoyingly cagey about the full nature of Worthy’s injury. But, it is at least good news that they aren’t considering IR.
At this point what running backs were on the board when we picked royals so I can be mad for no reason
…….thats Tyreeks music!
So we are down to Juju, Thronton and Brownlee and Hollywood?
Dislocated shoulders take a lot of rehab to be stable again. I’m not sure how they are even allowed to list him as day to day. He will be out a minimum of six weeks.
This is really disheartening about Royals. I was excited for him but it feels like he’s about a week away from season ending IR.
Great. Now mark him out for the Eagles game so I can put him on my IR.
