The crown is yours. the Miami Dolphins hosting the New England Patriots. Uh Dolphins, what a horrendous week one showing that they had. I mean, there there’s just no other way to put it. The Patriots, they lost against the Raiders, but you know, they I think they looked good in the first half. Drake May, it was a tail two halves for him for sure, and then Gino was able to just come up clutch. But who do you want to talk about here first? You want to talk about the Dolphins or the Patriots? I know we’re going to dive in deep into both of these teams. I’m going to Yeah, I mean, I’m going to go the Dolphins. I’m going to make two points here. One, the overall picture, the Dolphins are not going to win this game unless straight up they just put in a better effort because they’re they’re too talented. They have too many talented players to be the worst team in football, right? But they look like the worst team in football last week. And I think a lot of it is they they have to want it. Now look, I I think these next three weeks against all three of their divisional opponents, Patriots, Bills, and then the Jets, we’re going to learn everything we need to know about the Dolphins. We’re going to know by week four what the Dolphins look like this season. And if it looks anything like last week, then it’s that it’s going to be a problem that they’re going to have major organizational issues and there might be a fire sale and trades and all that stuff. when on the field. The whole reason that the Tua is their quarterback and he is in this offense and he’s been good in this offense in the past is that he can throw it a quickly and b down the middle of the field. Okay, you look at the way that he threw the ball down the middle of the field between the numbers last week against Indianapolis, not characteristic and not very good. 35.1 passing grade between the numbers last week, Trevor, against the Colts, eight of 12, 78 yards. That’s only six and a half per attempt. Two interceptions, one big time throw, but three turnover worthy plays. If Tua can’t throw over the middle of the field, then this offense basically gets nowhere. That’s that’s pretty much what we’re looking at at this point between the RPOS’s. And look, they fell behind. They didn’t get to run the full depth of their offense. They abandoned the running game because they were down 20 to nothing but in a blink of an eye. Right now, New England against Gino Smith last week. This is where they struggled. I think you do have to attack New England’s linebackers. Robert Spelain, Christian Ellis. These guys very, very good run defenders. They don’t turn their hips and move in coverage very well. And you’ve had questions about the Patriots coverage unit coming out of last week. Anyway, Gino Smith played a great game. He threw it down the middle of the field. Well, Tua needs to bounce back when it comes to throwing over the middle of the field. You mentioned that first interception that he threw over Tyreek Hill’s head. That didn’t used to happen. Those used to be money throws in Miami’s offense that Tyreek Hill would score on. They’ve got to make those throws in this game. The Raiders establish those types of throws, the RPOS’s, the slants, getting down the seams against New England last week. If Tua can do that this week, they can bounce back offensively. If he can’t throw it down the middle of the field, they’re going to get stagnant again like they did last week really quick. You You hate to make sweeping declarations about a team two weeks into the season. Um, if the Dolphins lose this game, I think I think we start talking about big picture stuff for them. I think we start talking about wholesale changes. you mentioned like uh which players are going to be available at the deadline. Um I don’t know how much longer McDaniel makes it if they lose this week because not only are the Patriots a beatable divisional opponent. You’re at home. Their best coverage player is out. They struggle a lot in coverage and right now just I think that what you said to open up this segment is truly how I would encapsulate everything. There’s just no like effort, focus, and discipline on this team. When you look at their pass rush specifically, this is this is a talented defensive line. They have Chop Robinson. They have Jaylen Phillips. They have Bradley Chub. They got rookies like Kenneth Grant. Um Jordan Phillips. Like they got uh they got a Wait, Jordan the the kid from Maryland. Jordan Phillips, right? Yes. Jordan Phillips. Yeah, there’s there’s multiple there’s multiple Jordan Phillips. I was going to say there’s multiple Jordan Phillips in the NFL and so I kind of like freaked myself out there. So, but what like you have a decent Zack Syler like you have a good defensive line. Dalton 48.2 pass rushers grade as a team dead last in the NFL in week one. 17.6% passers win percentage as a team. Dead last. Bradley Chub after the game was talking about how guys are freelancing that they weren’t really staying to structure. I went and I I I went back and I and I watched every every pass rush snap that that defense had. They’re not even trying. They’re not trying to get off blocks. They’re They’re just running into the offensive linemen. I mean, I watch Chop Robinson had a 0% passers win percentage. I watched all 14 of his passers reps. He’s just running into guys. He’s just going straight at their chest. Hand up. All right. Well, guess he’s blocking me. And I don’t I don’t necessarily like mean that to like call specifically anybody out, but like I could I couldn’t believe what I was watching. You’ve got Tua talking about, well, I can’t wait to see like who shows up on Tuesday. Who really wants it? Tyreek Hill obviously not happy when he’s on the bench. He hasn’t been happy in Miami, it feels like in over a year. It just feels like the vibes are terrible right now in Miami. And the film somehow was worse than the score and they got blown out by the Indianapolis Colts and the film was somehow worse than the score was on offense and defense on two side of things and the defensive line side of things. It just the team has to play with a lot better effort. They have to play with a lot better focus and a lot better purpose or they’re not going to beat the Patriots this week and they’re not going to beat anybody this year. So that was I was just I I I was floored at the film that I was watching about how it was just so non-ifferencemaking at all whatsoever. And that’s honestly why I like the Patriots, especially if you still get them getting points in this game because I’m not going to I’m not going to forget the talent. I’m not going to bet on a team that’s that looks like they already quit one game into the season. And again, like I I don’t mean to just I I I feel like I’m being a little bit more accusatory on the players, but it’s just the whole everything in Miami. I don’t know if they just don’t believe in McDaniel. I don’t know if they they’re just like they didn’t have a great summer like what like when it came to like camp and preseason or whatever and they just don’t feel motivated. Like I don’t know what it is, but whatever is going on in Miami, if it if they do not do a 180 flip from whatever was out there last week, they won’t beat the Patriots and they won’t beat anybody this year. No. Abs. Absolutely. It’s it’s hard to it’s hard to analyze it more than that to be honest with you. The no the effort level has to be better and what it is is an extension of the second half of last season once they felt like they were out of the playoff picture last season. There were games I I I think again I’ve said it before I think back to the Thanksgiving night game in Green Bay. They just they didn’t want to play football that night and last week against Indianapolis they looked like they didn’t want to play football uh that day. So they they have to want it. They have at some point it’s it’s gut check time. Again I I think these next three weeks tell us a lot about the Dolphins. They get New England, then they go to Buffalo, which is a house of horrors for them, and then they get the Jets in week four. And if they come out of that 0 and4 for any reason, then they’re pretty much shot. And we’re going to know why. And it’s going to be because obviously the vibes are off and the effort level’s low. And you have guys on your team in these moments. And I I’m glad you mentioned that defensive line. In these moments, you need your best players to drag you out of stretches like this. And their best players played terribly terribly last week. Those are the guys that are going to have to win them this game. But I’m with you. I’m taking I’m taking New England. I I’ve got New England in this game 20 to7. I don’t question New England’s effort level. Are they not great yet? Yeah, they’re not great yet. But at no point in that loss to the Raiders last week did I question their effort level. They come out and play solid defense and Mike Frabel has those guys coached up, ready to go. I think New England’s going to win this game as well. I agree. Uh final score that I have for this one, Patriots 25, Dolphins 23. That’s what I got. I think that the Patriots uh I think they’re going to take him in this one just cuz I I I could not watch that film from Miami and with all good conscience uh take them in in any game. Uh, so I got the Patriots winning this

  1. Miami not going to beat anyone this year🤣🤣So I guess the Bengals who has almighty Joe Burrow and all those weapons😂 and played so much in the preseason only could must 142 yards of total offense and got outgained by 175 yards by the Browns and won by pure dog shiit luck…is only going to win 4-5games this season based off that performance vs the Browns.. Bengals had 7 yards of total offense in the 2nd half…STOP OVERREACTING to 1 game… Last year the Raiders and Gardner Minshew went on the road and beat Lamar and the Ravens….Raiders ended up 4-13 last year…NFL is a week to week league..Noone is as good or as bad…

  2. Didn't Josh Allen have 3 INT's and 1 fumble🤣🤣 vs the Jets 2 years ago on the road in game 1 and lost 22-16 to Zach Wilson who replaced Rodgers after 1 play in the game…STOP overreacting…All this is nonsense..ALL Qb's have bad games.. Oh NO…The Sky is falling for the Bills…Fire Mcdermott and replace Josh Allen…How is that game different than what Miami did vs the Colts..
