Houston Astros vs Toronto Blue Jays – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 10, 2025 MLB Season
Dangerous guy. He has reached base in 20 consecutive games. He chops one to the left side. Ernie Clement. It’s short again tonight. And Bereos retires. The first battery facing about two weeks later. Showed the fracture. 02. And it’s lined into right center. A base hit. A slur that looked like it was down around the knees. And he got a 02. But he got him. Look at that location on the two seamer. He froze him for strike three. Springer lifts one to right field. It’s well hit and it’s caught right up against the wall by Jesus Sanchez for out number one. Runner goes. It’s ball three in the dirt. The throw down is not in time. in the air towards the right field corner. A long run for Lucas and he’s got to play it off the wall. On his way to second and in there with an RBI double is Diaz as he cashes in Sanchez. And the Astros take a one to nothing lead. Ground ball to third right at Barger and that will retire the Astros. But they do get a run on the double by Diaz to take an early one-run lead. Two and one the count on Clement and he lines it into left. It’s getting to the wall. Barger on his way to third, but he is going to be held on a line drive double by Ernie Clement. Well, Ernie Clement’s done a great job. That’s his 29th double of the season. is giving her report. You and I are up here and we have a great view of all the social spaces out in the outfield that are new the last couple of years as Pena lifts one in the air to right center field. Varo’s there and way before the start of the game and another base hit for Yordon Alvarez his fifth in seven at bats in the last two games. terrific success during teams has eight strikeouts through five innings. One hopper to second. Jimenez to Clement to Guerrero and that is a double play. Right. It’s back down to a 26-man roster as Walker will bounce one up the middle for a base hit. And most teams don’t go with 13 pitchers and that’s important too and it really makes a difference. Off the glove of Berea. So the only play for Jimenez is to first. Sanchez out 143 up to second and a ground ball to second. Jimenez has it and throws him out and that’s four good innings now for Burio. Just one run allowed. We’ll see if the offense drowns it up the middle. Pñena the shorts stop has it and once again the Blue Jays go in order. One- nothing Astros your score. Moving very very effectively. Ground ball to third. Barger unloads. Dug out by Guerrero. They get him. Over there. It’s really darting inside to the right-handed hitters again. He same pitch again. Right in on his hands. And the Astros go in order on three ground ball outs. A very nice inning for both. This is in the air to center, but he got it off the end of the bat. Adam Meyers actually comes in a little bit to make the play. One down. I think Yario, we’ve seen him do this a lot. Get up early in the game just to stay loose. Certain Ernie. Ernie Clement is two for two. Alexander now ready. Runner goes swung on and missed by Lopeido. And out at second is Clement. So it’s a strike him out, throw him out, double play, and that’ll end the inning. Jose lasted just two innings in his previous start. Sharply hit up the middle, but Clement is there to make the play. Alvarez finally retired. Fly ball left field deep and gone. Kareah got a change up and he pulls it into the Blue Jay bullpen for his second home run in as many games. And Houston’s lead is now two to nothing. It’s his 200th career home run and Korea has been a terrific hitter for a long time. Power’s been down the last couple of years, but that’s another home run. And there he goes. He got no chance. I mean, he had a running start. 63 as this one’s hooked into right field. A base hit for Jimenez. They have only scored the first run buck in 63. Ground ball to first. There’s one. Springer hustling down the line to this game tonight. Fly ball to center. Meyers has room and makes the catch. And that’s that. The ability to put him away with a curveball. He starts him with a curveball. Little dribbler and that’s a fair ball. Kirk got to it quickly. Saw it was about to spin. Foul. [Applause] Guerrero has to reach for it, protecting the plate and he hits a ground ball to short. One down. This is hooked to right field but caught by Sanchez. Two down. deep in the hole at short and a long throw is dug out nicely by Walker at first. Another three up, three down inning. Hard knuckle curve. There’s another one. Maybe he’s just mixing in another pitch to keep hitters off balance a little bit more. Working for him tonight. Get a pitcher to be more effective. And what a good pitch right there. Alvarez strikes out. It was the slider, but he left it over the middle of the plate. And Koreah hits it hard into left for a base hit. Down and away. Ball four as he loses him. Wow. Spikes that one way out in front of the plate. And a wild pitch allows the runners to advance. Grounds one in the hole. it short. Pñena with the jump throw and it’s not in time. Kinder Fale is aboard. John Snider swing and a miss on a fast ball away. Ochre gets him. One down. Ernie [Applause] right field. And that’s a base hit as Smith went after it. Could not come up with it. base hit to right field. Kiner Fa coming in to score. Straw racing around to third and Andres Jimenez delivers and the Blue Jays have their first run of the night and the 2-2. He got him again. 96 up in the zone. the 3-2 and a ground ball up the middle and through and an RBI single by Nathan Lucas has tied the game. Huge hole on the right side of the infield. The ground ball to short. Pñena goes across the diamond to get him as Guerrero grounds out to left center field. Over is Baro the run down in conversation with Davis Schneider about what his role might be is now this one is drilled deep left and it’s gone. Yiner Diaz with his 19th home run and the Astros have taken the lead here in the top of the ninth. Well, he’s got some power. He had an RBI double in the second inning. And Hoffman, that home run ball has been an issue for him all season long. Outings and every pitch is so crucial. Tried to get it inside, but he didn’t get it far enough inside. And Diaz hammered it. And Huffman gets Aluve for out number two. in the air to left center. Varo is there, makes the catch and that’s that. But the Astros have the lead, hoping his teammates get to muster a comeback as Varo pops it up. Altuve backpedaling. Smith comes in and makes the catch. One down. [Applause] Oh, right off of Abrau. He recovers to make the play. A rocket, but he’s giving the dugout a thumbs up, saying he’s all right. And that is in there for strike three called. And that is the ball game. The Astros get a home run in the top of the ninth from Yiner Diaz. and they beat the Blue Jays 3-2 to even up the

what kind of fever dream is this 🔥😛
Thank you for the very quick upload
No bail out for John Schneider this time. High leverage Hoffman strikes again and the Jays fall short this time. In general the offence since Bo’s injury has been so lifeless for 75% of these last few games. There needs to be some stepping up, I think a shakeup in the lineup and order is needed.
Using Hoffman as the closer in the playoffs will be John Schneider's downfall
Until the Jays get rid of Berrios, Little, and Hoffman, they aren't a playoff team
leave it to Hoffman to ruin it again … Jays are in trouble with this idiot as their closer ….
Our good old 33 million dollar closer coming through in the clutch
Hoffman's velo is the problem.
84-95 is not where he should be. Let's bounce back tomorrow.
'Home Run Hoffman' was in great form again tonight. 🤣
Toronto doing what Toronto teams do best: choking
Kudos to Bryan Abreu. Last night he threw 30 pitches and blew the save. Came in tonight, took a 112 mph ball off the thigh, fielded and made the play and stayed in the game and got the save. The dude is an absolute work horse. Also great at bats by Diaz. Narrowly missed out on two home runs, he was clutch tonight and shout out to Jason Alexander, 7 shutout innings!!!! Go Stros!!!
Overcelebrated last night. You'd have thought they won the World Series
Ernie Makes 1.9 mil. Hoffman makes 33 mil. Make it make sense
Character Series.
Long Ball Hoffman on the mound again…….going, going, gone!!!!!…..just how many times are they going to let him do this???????…that goes for Schneider AND Hoffman!!!!!!
YAINER!!!
Tired of Blowman! Rodriguez should replace him!!
I think it's time for Yariel to be made the closer. The dude has like a 2.25 ERA in the 9th inning and comes out throwing 99 with attitude. I get that they like him to be flexible, but something has gotta give. Hoffman isn't getting it done, let him mop up middle innings for a while and figure it out. They can't keep throwing him to the wolves and hoping for the best.
Hoffman is now a sure 100% losing closer.
You folks whine about every loss as if it’s the end of the world! They are going to make the playoffs this year and anything can happen so, be happy!
Vladdy, wake up. You're not even watching the ball when you're up to bat. Great glove, crap hitting.
It is pretty clear Hoffman is unreliable and Little basically gives you very little.
Hoffman's time is up
Jays would have the pennant locked up with a decent closer. that's a fact
Varland was decent. Berrios was pretty good. By Blue Jays standards an uneventful game. Almost had that comeback grrr
7 Blown saves for Hoffman 3rd most in the MLB..
Maybe its time to sit him.
Yankees and Bosox are not interested in winning the division either
Good game. Way to go Houston.
I was hoping for another Jays late comeback win lol
Love the versatile Clement despite undisciplined base-running
Bull pen quickly took the win away from Alexander, and Brown who has had 4 wins also taken away knows the feeling. Man,if we are only up 3 runs in the 7th we are gonners.
Never again Hoffman. Go Varland
So they give Altuve a night off, put him in the 9th and what does he do? He swings at a pitch that bounced in the left batter's box. And everyone wonders why he's slumping. He swings at ridiculous pitches. I know he's one of the greats but his plate discipline is minor league at best.
poor decisions even if Coughman is there so called closer why bring him in the top of the 9th in a tie game when he just pitched the night before
