1. They were going so well too… 4-2 and looking good for the most part.

   What happened? This is the same shit back 2 months ago. The bullpen implosion game and then the sleepwalk game. HOW does this happen with the division on the line AT HOME? They beat TOR and HOU this week… why would they revert back to this trash? Why can they NEVER get RBI singles or doubles EVER? Why is Doval ALWAYS shit and never just 50:50 good versus shit like Williams.

   Also we need to discuss why Judge has been absent in these big games.

2. It’s official! Cashman has totally destroyed this team! They are going to be non-contenders for a long time. These last two games have proven that nothing he has done is working. Outscored 23-3 at home in a must win series is total humiliation from which they will not recover. After impressive series wins against the Astros and Jays this is a total collapse. Even Judge is fading. Not much fun to watch.

3. Yankees are not winning a championship with Boone as a manager

16. So 4 relief pitchers give up 9 earned runs tonight over 2 1/3 equaling a 34.7 ERA for the outing. Well I guess that's better than last night when 2 relievers gave up 9 without getting any outs for a game ERA of infinity. Yup, there's absolutely no way this bullpen can take the Yanks deep into the playoffs. I'm not even being negative, I'm just being realistic.

19. I don't know why everybody is talking playoffs. This team does not have what it takes. They suck on defense, baserunning, bull pen and there inconsistent. All they can do is hit HR's.

22. In the post season the Yankees are going to have to get creative because the pen is ass. I would try to use mainly max, Carlos, and L. G. That way they could use warren out of the pen and maybe schlitler too. Bring up de los santos and bench leiter and dovol, and maybe bring up headrick.

25. The way I look at it is the Yanks have to win the next 4 games straight and do so in spectacular fashion each night to have any chance in the postseason. Because even just ok wins won't get the negative vibes out of their system from these 2 bullpen-meltdown losses (even after 2 important series wins…since they were also "just ok" type series wins imo).

    The thing is, after the upcoming Boston series, they finish the season with 13 games against 3 of the 4 last-place teams in the league. And they'll be expected to win most of those games. So I don't think that will actually do much for their confidence going into October, even if they win at, let's say, an .800 clip or better with 10 or more wins in those 13 games (which with their inconsistent offense is certainly no guarantee).

    So I'm preemptively putting my thoughts in writing in the event that they do have a really great winning percentage against those 3 teams in the last two weeks of the season. Because I know I might get my hopes too high again in that event. And I want a written reminder as to why I probably shouldn't.

    Nevertheless: Go Yanks!
