Nuggets fans always complaining Jokic doesn’t have help. However he has had a tailor made team perfect for him for more than 5 years now. Murray turn into an all nba player in the playoffs and Aaron Gordon helps hide jokics defensive flaws. There’s not a 4 like Aaron Gordon who perfectly fits in with Jokic. Then he had kcp great POA, Mpj one of the best pure 7ft shooters who could rebound.
Luka has actually taken dogshit to a WCF and a team slapped together in 4 months to a final. Luka is a better player than Jokic a real 3 way scorer. Jokic is too much of a hole as a C which is a very important position defensively for a team. Luka can hold his own in certain matchups and a PG has way less responsibility and impact defensively than a C should have in the team. If I’m building a team I’d take Luka over Jokic 10/10 times.
and these are 40 minute games….
With absolutely no help and constant double teams. Dude is firmly in his prime.
Excited to see how we start off the year, I’m expecting teams to have a lot of trouble stopping Ayton/Luka PR and we come out hot.
Teams will eventually adjust especially in the playoffs so I think it’s important to get us some help especially on defense
