All right, Rays and White Socks. It is the third and final game of the series between these two teams. Tampa took game one five to four. We’re still waiting on the outcome of game two from Wednesday. But prior to Wednesday, both teams entered the series playing very well. They’ve each won seven of their last 10 games, which is admittedly more impressive coming from the White Socks just given their year as a whole. And even a few of those wins came against the Yankees and Tigers. So, they’re getting some wins against some good teams. They should be in a good spot to take another win here with Shane Smith on the mound. Definitely one of their better starters in the rotation at least since the All-Star break. He did have a rough July, but he had a phenomenal August 267 erra. Now on the other side, it is going to be Ian Seymour getting the ball. Seymour has spent the majority of the season throwing out of the bullpin, but he has made two recent starts and they’ve been great. He’s allowed only one earned run through those 10 innings pitched. He’s also been great on the season out of the bullpen. 289 RA through 15 appearances in 37 and a3 innings pitched. Honestly, this is a tough one for me to be honest. I think the pitching is a fairly even matchup here. Obviously, a bullpin game is never the most ideal situation, but Seymour has been throwing well for Tampa. And honestly, the bats have been pretty even, too. Though, I think the edge could go to the to the White Socks at least um over the last few days. With this being in Chicago and with the White Socks pulling out some good wins over the last couple weeks, I’m going to roll with them here. we should be able to get some good value on it, too.
