Baltimore Orioles vs Pittsburgh Pirates | LIVE! Play-by-Play & Commentary | 9/11/25 | Game #146
if she’d like to go to see a show, but Miss Kate said no. I’ll tell you what you can do. Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackers, Jack. I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root. Root root for the home team. If they don’t win, it’s a shame. For it’s one, two, three strikes. You’re out at the old ball game. Katy Casey saw all the games. Knew the players by their first names. Told the umpire he was wrong all along. Good and strong when the score was just two to two. Casey Casey knew what to do. just to cheer up the boys she knew. She made the gang sing this song. Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crack a jack. I don’t care if I never get back. Let me brew root brute for the home team. If they don’t win, it’s a shame for it’s one two three strikes. You’re out at the old ball game. Hey folks, uh stand by cuz uh I got to uh still set up a couple of things. Uh be right there. Standby. All right, greetings folks and welcome to live coverage of Orioles baseball. Sorry about that. uh didn’t have my green screen up or few other things. But uh welcome to live coverage of Orioles baseball where this afternoon the Baltimore Orioles will be wrapping up their home stand and the final game of a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates here at Orio Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. How you doing everybody? It’s your old pal the bird watcher here. People call me BW for short. What is going on with the Orioles lately? Well, uh, the bad news is something we’ve been dealing with now for months. Uh, the Orioles are not going to make the playoffs. We are not mathematically eliminated yet. Just want to point that out. I took a look at the standings after last night and they list among the records home and away, day games, night games, all those little standings uh subcategories. They have a uh they have a field that is marked uh probability for making the playoffs. The Orioles are listed at less than uh sign chance. Less than.1% chance. So you’re telling me there’s a chance. Baltimore, you are seeing history being made today. So you’re telling me there’s a chance? Okay, we play on today. uh not yet eliminated from the playoffs. Uh but folks, I think maybe a more realistic goal here is uh try to make it to 500. I think we have 17 games left. Uh or is it 16 now? We go what like uh 11 and four 12 and four something like that. I don’t know. It’s possible. Let’s start by taking care of business today and uh try to sweep these Pirates out of town. Uh first two games, this entire home stand has been uh super exciting. Walkoff, walk off, walk off, walk off. We just keep walking it off, folks. I’ve walked off so much this past week. I think I’ve lost a few pounds walking off. Uh the Orioles did it again last night. Uh I’m trying to remember how it even happened. Both of these games against the Pirates have gone extra innings. 10 innings last night, a two to one win. Uh a game where we did not score until the eighth inning to tie it at one and then we walked it off in the 10th. Dylan Beavers. That’s right. The Bee up there with the bases loaded, nobody out. Hit a ground ball hard down the right field line. It was a true double, maybe even a triple had the game not been decided. Uh with Beavers just needing to touch first base to make it official. Winning run crossing the plate. Uh the Orioles pulled it out. They are now 68 and 77. So yeah, 13-4, 17 games left to go, including today. 13-4 gets you to a 500 record at the end of this season. Now, is that probable? No. Is it possible, though? Is it incredibly out of the question? I think it’s possible. I don’t think it’s crazy to try to strive for that finish to this season. And the way things are going lately, why not? Uh, so the finale today is going to pit Cade Povich against Johan Ovedo. Uh, Oeddo is uh, a one of many pitchers who have undergone Tommy John surgery uh, in recent years. He missed all of last season and most of this one. Uh but has 20 innings logged on this season. A record of 2 and 0. And in those 20 innings, a 2.70 erra, a 1.10 whip, 24 strikeouts in 20 innings, only 11 hits. It’s very good. Uh he does have a problem though. 11 walks. This guy walks people. Uh he’s got command issues and that is something the Orioles need to know and hopefully exploit. Uh work some at bats with this guy and let him get himself into trouble. He’s not giving up hits, but he is giving up walks. Now, I know my boy Dylan Beavers can draw a walk. Uh Gunner can draw walks. Uh the rest of the team, I don’t know. We got to work on it as a team. Hopefully, as a group today, uh let’s make an effort to try and make Ovido get himself into trouble. All right, so Kade Povich for us, 3-7 record, 5.16 RA, a 1.46 whip. I really have been rooting for Povich to put it together. Uh I don’t know. I just like his presence on the mound. There’s just a calm cool demeanor about him. Uh that I don’t know. We call him slim. I don’t know. I like to have him as a part of things, but uh you know, we we’re just going to need better pitching uh than the numbers he’s been putting up this season. I think we need to look at next season’s rotation with Povich not being a part of it. Obviously, I don’t want Povich out of the organization or anything. uh like any team uh and has been proven so many times this season, you need depth. All right, five pitchers starting on your uh roster is never enough. 10 might not be enough. So Kovichic is still a part of the future for me and maybe he will develop into something a little bit better. But I do think we should be looking at bolstering this rotation and perhaps you know moving Povich out of the rotation, you know, for for some time. Anyway, let’s get into uh the game here. What what’s going on? What is going on? I have to admit, uh, I was napping before this game. Uh, let me see if there’s any notes I should go over. Oh, so yeah, Dean Kramer, uh, is actually going to miss his next start. Uh, they’ve just now announced that he’s not going on any kind of injured list. Uh, but he was scheduled to pitch the Sunday game against the Blue Jays this weekend. uh he will not he’ll have his start skipped and instead of reverting back to a fiveman rotation, the Orioles plan on going with a bullpin game on Sunday. Uh so it’s going to be Trevor Rogers against Chris Basset uh tomorrow night, Tomyuki Sagano against Max Scherzer on Saturday, and then Shane Bieber for the Blue Jays. and we will likely go with a bullpin by committee approach. Uh maybe Dietrich En starts the game. Albert Suarez is a good candidate to start, although he’s pitched a few innings over the last couple of days. If they do want to go with Suarez, they’re probably going to want to keep him uh you know, from being a part of the next couple of games here until Sunday. But, uh, yeah, we’re gonna have to go with that on, uh, Sunday. All right. Uh, what else? So, yeah, Kramer’s going to throw an extensive bullpin session on Friday, and he will make a start sometime next week. Get back into the rotation. Uh, that is about it for the major. What? Okay, this just broke news. Wow, this is significant and this would explain a lot. The Orioles quietly promote. This is according to Brit Geroli 33 minutes ago via Twitter with Rock Kabatkco, Orioles beat writer, retweeting this just a few minutes ago. Folks, listen up. The Orioles quietly promoted Mike Elias to president this winter. The team is starting a search for a GM under him now. Sources tell me and Ken Rosenthal. Elias has been promoted to Orioles president and apparently we are going to be looking for someone to become the next GM. Wow, this is breaking news and I don’t have time to get into it. We got to get through the lineups and get ready for first pitch. But that is a major piece of news right off the press. Once again, the Orioles quietly promoted Mike Elias to president this winter. The team is starting a search for a GM under him now. Sources tell me and Ken Rosenthal. New York Times uh Britt Gueroli with the story. Ra Kabotkco oral beat writer retweeting it just 17 minutes ago. Uh I mean it it’s it’s a good thing. I think I I we got a lot to get into. Uh Michael is still going to be a part of things for years to come. it would appear uh under a different role. Uh so mixed emotions, I guess. Maybe I should wait and hear from you guys. Uh Rod has an opinion. Rod, come on, buddy. Hang in there, man. We’re going to we’re going to get through this together. All right. Uh we’ll talk about it. Let’s get to the lineups and get ready for first pitch. I’ve got coffee. I got water boiling. I got some things on on the stove top here I got to take care of. So, let’s run through this and uh I might have to run off for a second and then we’ll get ready for first pitch. Uh the lineups today for the Pirates. Leading off playing third base, Jared Triolo. Tommy Fam will bat second and play in left field. Brian Reynolds is in right field hitting third. Nick Gonzalez, the cleanup hitter at second base. Andrew McCutchen will DH and hit fifth. Joey Bart behind the plate will bat sixth. Nick York hits seventh and plays first base. Uh is it Alex? Is it Alexander? Yeah, Alexander Canario, the center fielder, will hit eighth. And Leo Pagguero is the shortstop batting ninth. That’s Triello, Fam, Reynolds, Gonzalez, McCutchen, Bart, York, Canario, and Pagguero. For Baltimore, Jackson Holiday will lead off and play second base. Jeremiah Jackson hits second, plays right field. Henderson’s at shortstop, batting third. Emanuel Rivera is the cleanup hitter today at third base. Dylan Beavers hitting in the fifth spot for just the second time. again. He had the walk-off hit yesterday. He’s playing in left field. Colton Cowser will hit sixth and play center. Sammy Basio, the DH, will bat seventh. So, Sammy staying in the lineup as a DH today. Alex Jackson will do the catching and hit eighth. And Kobe Mayo, man, you can’t even hit in front of Alex Jackson. That’s got to be a wakeup call, buddy. You’re hitting behind our backup backup backup catcher, Alex Jackson. Kobe Mayo at first base, batting ninth. All right. Is first pitch already. Is this game already underway? Am I that late? I am. Wow. Strike one. We’re underway. Uh Cade Povich has thrown the first pitch. It’s a strike to Triolo. And the next pitch is a check swing foul. All right. So, yeah, we’ve got plenty to talk about this afternoon and plenty of time, but uh let me get through this top of the first. Coffee will have to wait. It’s 0 and2 on Triolo leading off the ball game. And this ball’s hit on the ground and through the hole on the right side for a base hit. Triolo goes opposite field right side of the infield with a giant hole and uh Triolo is aboard leadoff single. Defensively for Baltimore it’s Beavers in left Cowser in center and Alex sorry Jeremiah Jackson in right Alex Jackson behind the plate. Rivera at third Henderson at short. Holiday at second and Mayo at first. Tommy Fam up next. And Povich issues strike one to him. Fam hitting 258. The 01 is a change up. Grounded back to Povich. Kade, you had a play at second, buddy. Wow. Kade Povich takes the sure out at first base with Triolo now moving up to second. And this is a comebacker. Povich initially looked towards second. Holiday standing on the bag waiting to receive a throw, but Povich decides to just go to first. I can’t really explain it. Hopefully that won’t cost us. Here’s Brian Reynolds. He takes a curveball on the outside edge for a strike. Good pitch from Povich. Folks, if you’re watching along, why why didn’t they go to second base? Uh curveball that is fouled back. It’s 0 and2 on Reynolds. Brian Reynolds, switch hitter batting from the right side against Povich. 244 average, 15 homers, 70 driven in 0 and two is the count. The pitch swung on, fouled behind the plate. Orioles are wearing their traditional home white jerseys and the Pirates have on their black jersey tops with the gray pants. Black with gold trim. Still 02. The pitch again. Swinging a miss. Povich with the high gas. Reynolds strikes out. See you later. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Slim gets his first strike out of the day. Two down in the inning. And that’ll bring up Nick Gonzalez. First pitch to him is over the plate but low for ball one. Gonzalez with a 274 average. five homers and 23 RBI. He’s played in 80 games on the season. The 10 swinging a miss. Something tells me Gonzalez has really good numbers against lefties. He’s batting cleanup and he’s only played in 80 games. That sounds like a platoon to me. One- one pitch is fouled back. It’s one ball, two strikes. Povich has had a really effective change up. Opponents hitting just 182 off of that pitch. Povich starts his wind up and then looks the runner back to second while stepping off the rubber. It’s a 77 degree uh day at the ballpark. Here’s a ground ball. Third base side. It’s a foul ball. Jim Wolf is the home plate umpire today. And yeah, keep an eye on that folks. Uh the crowd from what I can see, which is just the right center field bleachers. Oh, that’s a base hit to left. Let’s see. Throw is coming home. Here comes the runner. That throw is way offline, but we’ve got the batter Gonzalez in a rundown between first and second. He will be tagged out, and that’s something the Pirates do a lot. Uh they try to get that extra base on plays like this. Uh the Orioles do get the third out, but a run scores on an RBI by Nick Gonzalez. Uh but Gonzalez tagged out between first and second trying to take an extra base. I watched a video uh put out by John Boy Media about a month ago. Uh he was trying to analyze the Yankees base running issues and going into some serious data about teams and their base running habits and who makes the most mistakes. The Pirates and us were at the top of that list for different reasons. We get picked off a lot and we unsuccessfully steal a lot. Uh we lead the league in that area of bad base running. But when it comes to plays like that where a trail runner is hoping uh the ball’s thrown in uh toward another area of the field, they can go ahead take an extra base, but then get caught trying to do so in a rundown and make an out. The Pittsburgh Pirates do that a lot. Just thought I’d explain that. Something that I picked up not long ago. We go to the bottom of the first. The Pirates one and the Orioles are coming up. Hey Charm City chat, let me say hi because again I got uh in fact, do you mind if I address the chat here in a minute? Let me get the coffee first. Okay. I need caffeine in order to do my job better for you. So hang in there for a sec and I’ll be right back. Well, we got Jackson Holiday at the plate and the first pitch from Ovido is very high for ball one. I guess the least I can do while I’m preparing here is get the balls and strikes information up on the screen. Give me one sec. I’m doing about four things at once right now. Here’s a breaking ball. Holiday pops it up. A slow curve ball. 77 miles an hour. Holiday got under it and popped it straight up on the infield. Third baseman will make the catch. One away. Jeremiah Jackson coming up. I missed the pitch, but it’s strike one to Jackson who’s hitting 304. That average just stays above 300. Swinging a miss 0 and2 on Jeremiah. And let me see. Balls and strikes. Balls and strikes. What do we got? Oh, that doesn’t look live. Oh, there it goes. The O2 pitch is low. All right, we’re over here. And why does it say Nick Gonzalez? That’s no good. Catch up. Catch up to now. It looks like it’s catching up. It’s quickly running through the plays. As you can see now, it’s showing Holiday check swing by Jeremiah. They appeal it. He didn’t go. It’s two and two on Jeremiah. One out, nobody on in the bottom of the first. The 2-2 from Odedo. That ball is served out in center field. A base hit over the head of the second baseman. Jeremiah the hit machine says turn on the faucet will do. And that was not an easy pitch to handle. That broke like a slerve low and away from Jackson. He had to go out of the zone to make contact. And again, he just served it into center field for a hit. One away. Runner at first. Here’s Gunner. Folks, his name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. Gunner Henderson’s up. Good afternoon, Don. How are you doing, buddy? Give me a minute, folks. I’ll say hi to everybody. Pitch to Gunner. Fouled back. It’s a ball and a strike. First bugle of the day. 270 average for Gunner. 16 homers, 61 RBI coming into today. The 1-1 from Ovido. Up and away. Two and one. C coffee. Here’s the 2-1 line drive. Base hit into right field. That ball will roll up toward the track. Jeremiah will make it to third base. Easy. Gunner is into second. It’s a double. Splash it up, folks. Second and third. Only one out. All right. What I’m talking about. Oh. Well, come on now. Oh, get this. By the way, that’s 31 doubles on the season now for Gunnar. Emanuel Rivera first pitch swinging. Ground ball to second. That’s going to drive in a run. Rivera does clean up hitter things. Puts the ball in play. Drives in a run. The Orioles have tied it up. Jackson scores. Jeremiah, that is. It’s one to one, folks. That didn’t take long. We’re right back in it. Runner at third with two down. It’s Dylan Beavers. And he goes after the first pitch. Fly ball to right. It’s going to hang up there though. Caught out there in front of the track by Brian Reynolds in right field. Beavers has got a real compact swing. Just flicks that bat. Uh flies out here to end the inning, but the Orioles respond. Couple of hits, a run scores. One man left. We go to the second inning. Tied at one. All right. Now, give me another sec. Thank you. Oh. Oh. He met a strange friend in the Chesapeake Bay when the I apologize for Baltimore. Oh boy. Oh boy. It’s bacon, folks. All right. All right. All right. Party at the moon tower. Going to be a full keg. Everybody’s going to be there. Y ought to go. I’d probably ditch these two geeks you’re with, but that’s okay. All right. All right. All right. Hey folks, if I can uh segue from a bad Matthew McConna impression into something a little more important. Uh obviously today is September 11th and uh BW here recognizing uh the day and uh you know was a very very difficult day 24 years ago now. Uh so in memory of lives lost. Uh let’s play some baseball. Andrew McCutchen at the plate. Here’s a ground ball to Rivera at third on the run. The throw is in time. All right. Rivera had to charge this ball. Not hit very hard and does it perfectly to get the first out. McCutchen is retired. Here comes Joey Bart. We’ve seen Henry Davis catch the first two games of the series. Bart gets the call today and he looks at a curveball low from Povich. Bart’s batting 243. 84 games on the season. Just two homers, 22 RBI. Not a whole lot of production. Curveball on the outside edge for a strike. Nicely spotted by Povich. Hey, there’s a shot of downtown Baltimore. I wish our skyline wasn’t so heavily blocked by that damn hotel. One pitch, swung on, and missed. It’s one and two. Folks, I am wearing the same shirt you saw me wear for last night’s game. Just a reminder for me that was this morning and now it’s a late night. It’s the same day. What do you want me to do? Wear two outfits for when what I look like, Vanna White. Leave me alone. One, two pitch. Curve ball swung on and missed. A pitch in the dirt. Bart with the whiff. Right. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? I’m doing all right there, Blue Devil. Welcome to the bird watcher community, by the way. I’m doing all right again. It’s late night for me. Nick York at the plate. He looks at a strike. York has only played in six games. 176 average, a couple of RBI. Must be a September callup guy. Swinging a miss. Curve ball from Povich. It’s 0 and2. Next pitch, another curve ball. That one’s fouled away. Oh, nice play by the home played ump Wolf. That ball bouncing off the back stop car back toward the uh home plate area and Wolf with the reflex move to grab that baseball. 02 to York. Her ball again and he swings and misses. See you later. Oh my god, this crowd. I can’t even call it a crowd. Well, y’all come back now. You Wow, folks. If yesterday’s attendance was officially 18,000 and change, but between the weather forcing a lot of people to leave early and others just plain not showing up, I think the crowd was maybe about 12,000 today. I mean, this looks like the smallest crowd I’ve seen since since Adley Rutman’s call up. I mean, this is bad. This looks like a sub 10,000 person crowd. We are talking right center field bleachers. That area, there’s like a dozen people. Uh yeah, doesn’t look good. Not good for the optics. Uh, hey Charm City chat, here’s my chance. Let’s catch up. Frank W is here. Froggy is here. The disc golf is here. Intense Blue Devil. Edward Bowers Chia. Uh, Jake. He says, “The Yankees pitching has been struggling big time.” Good. We’ve got seven games left with them before we call it a season. So, I’m looking forward to taking them on. Deshawn is here. Warren, uh, Rod, did I get you already? Jeremiah Peebles. Baxter Ray. Uh, Chilo is here. There’s Chilo. Don Rock. Dan Joe’s back. How you doing? And uh yeah, I think I’m getting all repeats here as I’m all the way back to the bottom. There’s Tom Free saying hello. All caught up. All right, here we go. Bottom of the second, folks. Get the cows up. Guess who’s up? Hey, Deshawn. Did I get you? Cowser hitting 207. First pitch is ball one. Next pitch is outside 2 and 0. Well, Cowser has definitely been scuffling, but last or this during this series, he’s had the benefit of seeing a lot of pitches out of the zone. He’s drawn a couple of walks. Sometimes that’s the way to get out of a funk. Just try to get on base via the walk. Try to work a count. Anything to help get that confidence up. We know Cowser is better than this. I’m not quite sure how good he can be, but we know he’s better than this. That pitch is extremely high. It’s three balls in a strike to the milkman. Folks, I see zero cows in the chat. I see zero cows in the chat. What are we doing? Is this your first rodeo or what? Cows are just drew another walk. It’s a leadoff walk for the milkman. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. I tell you what, not a single cow emoji. Not a one. All right, there we go. Backter coming through in the clutch. Basio is up next. Pitch outside. And this is what I was talking about in the pregame, folks. Oedo has not given up many hits in his 20 innings of work, but he has issued a lot of walks. So, be patient. Let him get himself into trouble. The 10 got a fast ball. Basio, he took a big cut and he missed that pitch at 96 and up. Count one and one. Sammy, the one is up and away. almost like a pitch out, but the runner at first wasn’t moving. Basio has now played in 18 games. He’s driven in 10 runs. The average just 190, but we know that’s going to get better. 2-1 pitch. Here’s a slider. Oedo tried to back door him. Good spot right on the edge and Bio fouls it away. Two and two the count. Two and two the count. Here comes the pitch. Swung on and missed. Visio strikes out. That ball about two inches off the outside edge. Still hitable. Visio not happy with himself after that at bat, but more of an eye roll than a hissy fit like we see Gunner do so often. Here’s Alex Jackson. He goes after the first pitch. So, this ball’s hitting the center field and straightening up to make the catch out there. Oh, wait for it. Who’s out in center? That is Canario making the catch for out number two. All right, Kobe Mayo time. Mayo batting ninth. He’s up here with two down and a runner at first. average at 184. Yeah, Jared, we just I announced it pregame. Where were you, Jared? Where were you when I announced it? I literally broke the news right here. Oh, Jared, you got to get here sooner. We’re gonna talk about it. I I mean, honestly, for you guys, just give me your thoughts periodically throughout the game. let me know. Uh here is a swing and a miss. Obviously, I I’ll have my thoughts. Uh I’m composing them now. I’m processing this news. Michaelas again, he has been named president of the Orioles. Apparently, was given the title in secret or just quietly is the way it’s worded this past winter. So he was like president slashGM but now he’s going to officially be the president of the Orioles and someone else is going to start being the general manager this winter and that that second half of the equation I’m happy about. Uh did we just get a stolen base? Colton Cowser just swiped second. Okay. Did not even get a throw down. Cowser almost looks surprised like nobody tried to throw me out. Line drive by Mayo into left. It’s a base hit. Cowser’s rounding third. Here comes the throw home. It is not in time. Cowser just sneaks in. Oh, what great timing. Cowser one pitch earlier steals second, one pitch later, just gets home on a base hit by Kobe Mayo. We take the lead two to one. Great base running from Cowser all the way around. Magic, you know. Jackson Holiday ground ball to second base. Routine play. That’ll end the inning. But the Orioles have scored in each of the first two innings. They tied it in the first. They’ve taken the lead here in the second. And I like the way we scored. Cowser with the steel. One pitch later, Mayo drives in that run with a base hit. And again, Cowser taking off with two two out on contact. Running as hard as he could to get around and score with the throw in there. It was bang bang. He made it. Good stuff. We take the lead two to one as we go to the third inning. I need coffee, too. You need coffee. I need coffee. All right. So, that was fun. We’ve got the lead. We are looking to sweep. My broom is not quite within arms reach, but it’s it’s in the room here. Uh, I do need to pop open this screen door here so I can enjoy Lucky with my coffee. So, while I do that, I’m going to step aside. Be right back. Enjoy the show, folks. Please hit that like button on the stream if you haven’t done it already. Just a gentle reminder. And here’s a little Captain Chesapeake to keep you uh entertained. All right, be right back. He met a strange friend in the Chesapeake Bay when Whoa. BW got a little bit laded when he stood up just now. That was a little scary. I don’t know whether to enjoy that feeling or be a little worried because and honestly felt like uh like I just did a whip it back in college. Oxygen was cut off to my brain for a short while there. Uh, but I’m here. Uh, we’ve got a two- count on the leadoff man, Canario at the plate, swinging a miss on the fast ball from Povich. The count now two and one. When does Jackson Holiday bat? Well, he just did. He just did. He ended the inning about two minutes ago, so you won’t be seeing him for a little while. Three and one now. The count on Canario. It is 12:38 a.m. my time. That ball’s crushed to left. That ball is crushed. That ball is gone. Canario with a no doubt shot to left. Not a cheapy. That one just clears Waltimore last year over the Bird Bath. And the Pirates tie it up themselves. And now, yeah, I’ve had a full view here other than right behind the home plate and between the dugouts. There is nobody in this ballpark. Canario got all of that one. We’ve got a two- two ball game. Here is Leo Pagguero shortstop hitting under 200 197. Not many good hitters on this pirate team. That is fouled away. It’s 0 and2. Well, we’re pretty used to it by now. Outside of Trevor Rodgers, our starters love to give up that solo home run early, don’t they? Yeah, they do have a 38-year-old McCutchen if you want to count him as a good hitter. I mean, he’s way past his prime, but yeah, you know, he’s Brian Reynolds is is a fine player, too. But I mean like six out of their nine hitters in the lineup are, you know, probably not in a lineup for about 25 of the teams out there in baseball. Uh two and two the count on Paguero pitch curve ball. Oh, it was a change up. Sorry. I it started to break down and I’m like, oh, a curveball. But it was a change up that hung outside for ball three. Full count now on Pguero. Nobody out in the top of the third. Pitch low and in. That’s ball four. Well, that is not a good way to recover from giving up a game tying home run. walking the number nine batter with still nobody out. That is going to get Alex Jackson to come out to talk to Povich, try to calm him down. Now it’s back to the top of the order. Jared Triolo. Where is I need a lighter, folks. I need a flame and I can’t find one. So, be right back. Whoa. Did we just nail Did we just pick off a base runner? Pagguero. Looks like he might not have gotten back to the bag in time. And he is out. Folks, I’m so happy I get up. I miss one thing and it’s a good thing. Pagguero is picked off by Povich at first. One out, nobody on now. Prio with a count of one and0 takes a curveball. Called a strike. Ouch. That pitch was definitely outside. And we get the benefit of that call. It is one and one outside. Two balls and one strike. Hey, uh I am uh yeah, 11 hours ahead. Sometimes it’s 12. It depends on what part of the year it is. daylight savings and whatnot. But yeah, I’m officially 12 time zones ahead, but with daylight savings at this part of the year, I am 11 hours ahead. It’s a lot easier to track what time it is where when it’s a 12-h hour difference. You just got to flip the AM to the PM and you’re fine. Uh but yeah, it’s now a full count on Triolo. One out, nobody on again. Cade Povich gave up a walk to Pagguero and then picked him off. The Pirates have tied the game on a home run in the inning. This ball’s hit to right by Triolo backing up as Jeremiah. He’s on the track and he made a terrible jumping attempt at the baseball and that’s going to send Triola all the way to third base. That was a huge mistake by Jeremiah. That should have been a double. Now, an experienced outfielder might have been able to make an acrobatic catch here, but a smart outfielder who knows that they can’t make this catch. They’re going to play it off the wall and hold the batter to a double. Jeremiah doesn’t do either here. Now, that ball hits off the wall and another guy has to come in to pick up the play and Triola makes it all the way to third base. with one out. Not good optics for Jeremiah on that one, but uh he is learning a position on the fly here. That was pretty ugly though. Tommy Fam’s up. They count as a ball and a strike. Runner at third with one out. Two-2 ball game. The infield is playing in pitch. Curve ball fouled away. Povich looking for a strike out here or something on the infield right at somebody. The one two. Another curve ball that is fouled away. Steady diet of curve balls from Povich. The one two pitch reached for and just got a piece off of the end of the bat. Did Fam That pitch well off the plate outside. It is still a ball and two strikes. The Pirates have the go-ahead runner at third base. One out. The pitch again. Curveball. It’s a sweeper. It’s a foul tip. And it’s a strikeout. It’s a sweeping slider, not a curveball. My apologies. But folks, guess what? We got the punch out. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Big second out of the inning with that go-ahead runner. Still at third base. A way to get out of this now. Brian Reynolds, big cut and a miss on a curveball for strike one. And Tommy Fam, do you think he’s happy after striking out in that spot? No. We’ve got a shot of him in the dugout, slamming his bat down. Tommy Fam gets angry. Kurbo, that’s hit hard, but right to Gunner. He’s got it over to first in time. And Povich works around Jeremiah’s bad play in right field. A one out triple. is left stranded. The Pirates do tie it up. They do tie it up on a home run ball from Canario, but we prevent them from taking the lead. All right, lots of baseball left, folks. We’re going to the bottom of the third. We are tied at two. Hutchkins. Boy, Hutchkins is just coming out firing. What do you got going on, buddy? Washington’s losing. I got Green B. I What is it with the NFL and everybody just super convinced they know who’s winning and who’s lo I I see so many of these talking heads talk about football and all they do is sit around going, “This team’s going to win this weekend.” No, it’s going to be this. Like, does everybody ever look back and realize that everybody is guessing at about a 50% accuracy rate and it’s basically a coin flip? Oh, I know who’s winning this weekend. I mean, no, nobody knows. I mean, you can have a team you think might win, but I mean, that’s about it. I think they might win. What? Nope. I love it. I’m responding and I get back. Nope. Nope. What? They’re all analists. Ah, that makes sense. Well, I just think it’s funny. It’s just It’s just something that’s been growing over the years, and I’ve noticed it a lot since I’ve kind of stayed away from the NFL for a while. I’ve come back to kind of dip my toe back in the water and it’s just everybody’s everybody’s got a crystal ball when it comes to the NFL. All right, we are getting started. Bottom of the third, Jeremiah leads off. First pitch, he’s swinging and he fouls it away. Bullfrog is up, folks. Ribbit. All right, the 01 swinging a miss. It’s 0 and2. I mean, folks, there’s like an oral attendant working for the stadium. The ratio of attendance to fans has got to be about one to five. I mean, man, what a small crowd we got here today. What a small crowd. One ball, two strikes on Jeremiah. Pitch, swing, and a miss. He got a fast ball of 96 top of the zone and he missed it. One down in the bottom of the third. Here is Gunner. I mean, I have fun with NFL picks. I remember my mom, she worked in an office and they had like an office poll every week where you just got a, you know, and he got some kind of a memo passed around everybody in the office with the the list of the matchups of the week and he just had to circle which team you thought would win and then whoever won the office that week would win the office pool money or whatever. And you know what my mom would do? I mean this is back when I was like 9 years old, 10 years old, 11 years old. She would bring that piece of paper home to me and have me pick the games for her and I won for her a lot. Uh the one for Gunner is chopped foul, a ball and two strikes. Now did she reimburse me? No. No. Short answer, no. Here’s the one two to Gunner. That is outside. Two balls and two strikes. I mean, come on. I don’t get a commission, a finder fee. What’s your fee? This is my deal here, Mom. This is my deal here. Two- two pitch swung on and missed. Back-to-back strikeouts for Oeddo here in the third. Yeah. So, the Commanders are playing tonight. I’m going to watch and I’m going to root for them. Hope that’s okay with everybody. Here’s Emanuel Rivera. RBI ground out his last time up. Two down, nobody on. He looks at a strike. Is tonight’s game Amazon? I don’t know what that means. Is you mean to tell me the game is only to be watched on Amazon? Swing and a miss. It’s 0 and2. Who Who would normally carry Thursday night games? I thought that was like ESPN or something or even NFL network or something. All these games getting divided up and put on all these different platforms. How do you even keep up with it? O2 pitch is upstairs. It’s a ball and two strikes. Folks, am I nuts or are you like me? Do you miss the days of just you had your NBC games, your CBS games, and your Monday night game on ABC? Piece of cake. Here’s a popup by Rivera to Wright. Reynolds is going to make this catch to win the inning. It’s a one, two, three inning for OVO. We go to the fourth, tied at two. Disney bought red zone. Games are on. Yeah, I saw that. What was it? The Chiefs and Chargers were had a Saturday a Friday night game in Brazil on YouTube. That is not the NFL I grew up with. A Friday night game on YouTube in Brazil. That is a good example. Like what is what’s going on? I don’t know. I don’t know. All I know is the NFL does everything they can to maximize profits. And holy cow, aren’t you guys rich enough already? Last time I checked, every owner and whatever involved with the National Football League have been making really nice coin for decades and decades and decades. I don’t recall an owner going broke. Is there a way you could still stay rich? And I don’t know. not screw us fans in every which way possible. Is that possible? I don’t know. I’m weird. I’m kind of fed up with rich people. I don’t know what it is. Uh, you can watch it after it’s over on NFL Network at midnight. George, I’m over here in Thailand. I’m going to find a way to watch it live. Don’t you worry. And no, Jeff Bezos isn’t getting a dime from me. First of all, Amazon, you got a lot to make up for with that War of the Worlds movie you put out about a month ago. Folks, I brought it up once or twice. I’ve seen this movie because I’m a huge fan of movies that are so bad that you got to watch them just to enjoy how awful it is. And this Amazon produced War of the Worlds movie with Ice Cube is one of the worst. I mean, worst. You can’t even call it cinema. You can’t call it a movie. It’s a guy looking at his computer screen at clips of things and having like Zoom calls. That’s your big sci-fi action thriller. A guy taking Zoom calls for 90 minutes. It is such a bad movie. I highly recommend it. Just don’t pay for it. Uh Nick Gonzalez leading off the top of the fourth. He’s got a count of a ball and two strikes. And boom, a curve ball from Povich. Swung on and missed. Gonzalez strikes out. Well, y’all come back now. You hear that curveball from Povich is working. He’s thrown it 17 times already today. Hey, Phantom. That’s good to hear. There’s another curveball. That one bounces in there to McCutchen. Andrew McCutchen. He’s trimmed down those uh dreadlocks. They’re barely poking out of the helmet these days. One is also in the dirt. 2 and 0. One out. Nobody on. Top of the fourth. Two-2 ball game. Povich on 55 pitches. Another curve ball popped high into the air on the infield. Gunner waiting for it to come down and he makes the catch. Two down. McCutchen’s 0 for two. Yeah, folks. It’s really not that difficult to figure out what my hours are running this channel. Just uh again, for the most part, just flip your PM to A.M. and that’s what time it is. I’m calling games. If it’s an afternoon game, I’m up at midnight, 1:00 a.m. calling games till 3:00 a.m. 4 in the morning. If it’s a late afternoon game, I’m up at 3:00 a.m. calling a game till 7 a.m. If it’s a night game, I’m up at 6:00 a.m. calling the game till about 10:00 a.m. Here’s a chopper to Holiday. He will get it to first just in time to end the inning. Was that Joey Bart making that last out? Yeah, Joey Bart rounds out the Holiday. And that’ll do it for the Pirates here in the top of the fourth. Bottom of the fourth coming up, we are tied at two. Yeah, Ghostro’s uh he found my channel before he even started his up. He actually credited me for inspiring him to start his channel. He he lives in Japan, I believe. Uh, so yeah, he was hanging out here and said, “Hey man, just wanted to let you know you inspired me to start my own channel. I’m going to do the Astros.” I’m like, “Hey, awesome, dude. Awesome. I inspire people, folks. Can you believe that? I know. Hard to believe. How long have you lived in Thailand? Uh, it’s 10 years. It is 10. It is the 10year anniversary in about two weeks. Uh, not Baltimore proper. I’m from Maryland, though. PG County. I’m a PG County guy. So, I have dual citizenship. I’m I’m Baltimore and Washington. I I’m I claim dual citizenship. I think if you’re from PG County, uh you know, especially the northern side, you know, you’re Yeah. Uh I think you have the right to kind of be a dual citizen. There’s Dylan Beavers getting splashed last night after the walk-off. Great image. We’ve had a lot of fun on this home stand, haven’t we, folks? Dylan Beavers is about to lead things off here in the bottom of the fourth. Folks, show me your Beavers right now. Nice beaver. Thank you. I want to see your Beavers in my chat. First pitch is a curveball from Ovido on the outside edge for a strike. That’s right. PG County, folks. Some folks might consider it PG13 cuz uh you know, it can get a little rough over there. I grew up in a pretty rough neighborhood. Uh but you know, hey, I survived and it made me the man I am today. The 1-1. The Beavers popped up. Shallow left. Coming in and making the catch is fam. One away. Beavers pops out to left. All right, put your Beavers away everybody. Come on. Come on. They’re children present. Put those Beavers away. Good grief. Nice beaver. Thank you. Tracker messed up. What tracker would that be? Uh Cows are at the plate. First pitch. He goes after it. Hit deep down the left field corner. Fam though going to chase it down right where the foul line nearly meets the wall in the left field corner. Oh, did the uh ingame box end in-game balls and strikes uh freeze again? Okay, guys. Some games that it just happens all the time. Sometimes I only have to fiddle with it once or twice. Sometimes I have to fiddle with it constantly. It’s a lot like my ex-girlfriend. Here’s Sammy Basio. First pitch is low for ball one. Two down, nobody on. Sammy. Pitch. Checks his swing. They appeal. He went. He went. It’s a ball and a strike on Messiah. Folks, the beauty of the game board freezing as Sammy pops this one. A little flare behind second base and Gonzalez will make the catch and shallow right center. Basio retired to win the fourth inning. We’re still tied at two. We’re going to the fifth. Yeah, folks. The beauty about my screen here freezing from time to time is that I do such an outstanding job calling the game, letting you know the situations that if you’re just listening, everything you need is going to be there for you folks. Who you trust more, me or some website? Come on, people. Trust me. I got this. Cash, let me ask you a question. I tell you what, Cash, if you answer me my question honestly, I will answer your question honestly. Deal? All right, here’s my question. Are you asking me this because you have some kind of a bet involving Jackson Holiday? Are you asking this because you have some kind of a bet on Jackson Holiday? That’s my question. We’ve got time for a reply. We’re in a commercial break. Everyone is waiting with baited breath. Yeah, Blue Devil, glad you decided to give it a chance. Appreciate it. Cash, you with us, buddy? I I I’m not chat GPT. You can’t just ask me questions and I spit out answers. Okay, we’re going to do something called interact. Are you there? Cash is no longer with us, folks. It was a fun time. Here’s Nick York. Takes a first pitch strike. We’re in the top of the fifth. He struck out his first time up. Bass nicely spotted by Povich at the knees on the outside corner. gets ahead of York 0 and2. Five strikeouts already for Povich through the first four innings. Her ball bounces in there. It’s one ball, two strikes. I miss Adam Jones and his playing days, but Blue Devil AJ is still with us. I mean, he’s very active in the oral community. Uh he’s constantly tweeting. He was just tweeting last night about the walk-off win. Here’s a line drive base hit down the right field line and turning for second base. The throwback in is offline and late. It’s going to be a leadoff double for the Pirates. That is the go-ahead runner on with nobody out at second base. Nick York, his second double of the season down the right field line. We’ve got work to do. Here is Canario. He hit a home run his last time up. First at bat, smacked a povich pitch into the seats in left field. The count is 0 and one on Canario. That pitch is over the plate but low. One ball, one strike. One-1 pitch, swing, and a miss. Good change up from Povich. Just a little below the zone. Very enticing for the batter. He got the whiff. I’ll send you some of my picks hits. All right. So, I was right. Swing and a miss. And Canario strikes out this time again. Povich got the strikeout pitch working today. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Okay, Cash Entertainment, I’m glad you let me know. I guess my instincts were once again right on the money. Uh, here’s the deal. Feel free to hang out and enjoy the ball game and uh never bring up your bet again. None of us care, okay? We’re here to enjoy baseball because we like the sport and we’re rooting for our team to win. That’s our objective. You want to win some money, that’s fine. I’m not going to tell you to do otherwise, but uh that’s not why we’re here. Okay, enjoy the ball game. Here’s Leo Pagguero. He’s got a count of 0 and two. Runner at second, one down. Pitch from Povich is low. It’s now a count of a ball and two strikes. I’m glad we all know how this works around here. By the way, you might notice the lack of sports betting advertising anywhere on this sports channel. Uh, two two pitches in the dirt. Full count now on Pguero. Or was that ball two right there? Excuse me. I guess either Mass is late updating the count or I jumped the gun. I guess it’s a two- two count. All right, here’s the 22 hit on the ground to Gunner. He’s going to throw off balance for no real reason. I don’t like it when Gunner fields a ball like that. He He’s like playing he just set your feet, field it, and throw. Plant your feet and throw. You don’t need to throw off balance there. But Gunner does get the second out of the inning. Runner moves up to third base. Boy, and look at this guy. Hey, a couple of Captain Chesapeakes in the audience. All right. Uh back to the top of the order. Third time through the lineup now for the Pirates. And Triolo is having a good day. He’s two for two, including a triple. Although Jeremiah Jackson really helping him out with that. Could have been a double. Maybe even only a single. You played out play that ball off the wall and the bounce right. But anyway, we got out of that jam. It’s one and one now on Triolo. pitch, swing, and a miss. There’s that change up, man. Povich is hitting that same spot, outer half of the plate against a righty at the bottom of the zone. Curve ball and change up on point today for the most part. That ball’s lifted. A change up into the air to left field. That’s going to be the third out as Beavers makes the catch. Kade Povich having a decent outing here. He’s given up uh on average a hit per inning. Two runs on five hits through the first five innings. This game is now half over. We are tied at two going into the bottom of the fifth. So yeah, folks, Mike Elias is now the Orioles president, or at least if not now, has been for some time. Just secretly, uh, doing double duty. I don’t know. But, uh, that’s his new title. It’s official. and the GM gig. He is going to be transitioning away from and acting as president. So, I think we need to be happy about this. I mean, a lot of people just wanted to see Elias leave and and that’s it. Like, just leave. But if ownership doesn’t want him to leave and they want Elias to be a part of the vision of this team, I this is the next best thing I guess, right? I mean, I want a better GM. I want an upgrade there. Maybe Elias can still uh you know, do positive things uh w with his new role. But uh yeah, there’s a lot of things to address. We already know now that we’re going to be GM shopping this winter. Unless we’ve already got somebody lined up. Maybe they’ll announce something like after the season ends, October, November. Maybe we don’t have to wait till the coldest months to figure this out. But once uh that happens and it’s probably going to be a domino effect, I would expect this coaching staff to get overhauled. And then you got players. You got a lot of personnel to to replace, particularly the bullpen. Um there’s going to be a lot of activity this winter. And uh I think I’m going to do a lot better job than I mean, I didn’t even do a job last winter. I just shut things down. I said, “Well, season’s over. See you uh in spring training.” But this winter, I’m thinking at least once a week doing a stream going over the activities in the uh offseason months, especially now that we know that uh from the top down uh there’s going to be some changes in the front office. Uh folks, there’s a 2-1 count on Alex Jackson leading off the bottom of the fifth. Forgive me for not calling those first three pitches. The 2-1 is low. It’s ball three. Oedo has gone four innings, giving up three hits and a walk. Two earned runs. He struck out three. 3-1 to Jackson. Alex, that is fouls it off. It’s a full count. Hey, there’s Mike Elias, folks. Hi everybody. President Mike Elias here. Hey Mike, thank you so much for visiting my humble little channel. Here’s a curveball up and in on Alex Jackson. That is a ball four. Thank you for walking our backup catcher to lead off an inning in a tie ball game. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. All right, the wouldbe go ahead run is on for Baltimore. Let me uh let me change that. The go-ahead run is on for the Orioles. Here’s Kobe Mayo. Whoa, that pitch up and in. He had to get out of the way. Oedo looking a little wild. And that’s going to spark a visit from the catcher, Joey Bart. It’s not a long conversation. Bart now already making his way back behind the plate, folks. Kobe Mayo, spread the word. Let’s get it all on there. Just spread it out, folks. The emoji game today is looking pretty weak. And actually, where are my Magic members? Phantom is one. Shantae is one. Magic members, you got to pick up that emoji game. looking a little weak here in the Charm City chat. We got mayo. We got jars of mayo. There we go. Danjo, how you doing? George, how you doing? Everybody hung over from last night. What’s going on here? Pitch to Mayo is high. It’s 3 and 0, folks. Three and 0. That’s a bugle. Mayo is one for one with that RBI single. His first time up. Three 0 pitch. He takes it. It’s in there. A slider for strike one. Three and one. Pitch low ball. What? You’re calling out a strike, blue? That is so low. Come on, man. Mayo had already flipped his bat away. He has to go pick it up in embarrassing fashion. Come on, Blue Wolf is at it again. Why don’t you wake up and smell what you shoveling? Why don’t you wake up and smell what you shoveling? Why don’t you wake up and smell what you shoveling? Get the bee bag, guys. Not the beast. Not the beast. My eyes. That is audio of Jim Wolf right now getting the beag treatment as Mayo fouls this pitch away. Mayo denied his walk. Let’s see what he can do here. I’m not even sure what the count is. All the info is off the screen. Here comes the pitch. Swing and a miss. And now Mayo strikes out. Thanks, Blue. Thanks, Blue. You turned a walk with two on, nobody out into a strikeout. One on, one out. Thanks, Dick. All right, back to the top of the order. It’s Jackson Holiday. Holiday’s 0 for two. First pitch is outside. Hey, where’s the cash guy? Hey buddy, you’re about to hit your next million, dude. Holiday’s up. Isn’t sports fun? Here is the one to Holiday. Hit on the ground and through the hole on the right side. A base hit. All right. And going first to third is Alex Jackson. Jackson can get around the bases pretty well for a catcher. Okay, Mayo got screwed. Otherwise, we might be in for a big inning right here. First and third with one out after the base hit by Holiday, folks. Splash it up. Jeremiah Jackson. First pitch is a slider on the outside edge for a strike. Alex Jackson is at third and Jackson Holiday is at first and Jeremiah Jackson is at the plate. Nothing to be confused by here folks. We got three Jacksons out here right now. It is 02 0 and2 on Jeremiah. really need to get this ball in play. Can get us the lead without a hit. Pitch. Oh, he chased a high fast ball and strikes out. Bad bad decision there. That pitch way way high. And again, I mean, the catcher had to leave his crouch to receive this ball. And that is a not good second out to make. Gunner Henderson’s going to have to pick it up with two down. Runners at first and third. His name’s Gunnar and he’s dating my mom. Yay. You hit your picks. Nobody gives a [ __ ] Uh there’s a pitch on the outside. It’s ball one. Nobody cares, dude. I told you to not bring it up anymore. Bring it up again and uh you get timed out. 10 pitch to Holiday swung on a miss. That’s not what I’m doing this for, folks. I didn’t start a channel to help gamblers track their bets. Okay, this is for baseball fans. who are rooting their team on. Here’s the one-1 Gunner. That’s a called strike. And yeah, I know what I’m doing when I say this. I’m probably losing this guy as a subscriber. He’s probably not too pleased with what I’m saying. Some others might not like it. Well, I know I’m I know it’s a tradeoff. I’m I’m okay with it. This community is not going to be taken over by, you know, the betting uh culture. Sorry. There’s many other places you can go for that. Uh one and two the count on Gunner. Here is the pitch. That ball’s hitting into right field. Right at him, though. right at Brian Reynolds for the final out. Gunner with a hard liner, but no luck. And the Orioles come away with squadouch. This game is still tied at two as we head now to the sixth inning. All right. Again, folks, just to put a fine point on it, if you like to bet on sports, that’s fine. Go ahead. I’m not stopping you. I’m not going to be the morality police about it. I have my own opinions, but it’s this is my channel. And again, I just I see other channels where it just devolves into a how is my bet doing playbyplay channel. Not here. I’m not going to contribute to the cause. Okay? I can coexist with it being out there, but I’m not going to contribute to the cause. You feel me? Great. Yeah. Povich Povich looks pretty good. I mean, by the way, speaking of contributing to the cause, smoking is bad for you. Just so you know. Um, yeah, I wish Povich could uh just I I really feel like Povich has what it takes to stay in the league and be a starter uh for, you know, a nice career. I just he’s he’s just gota he’s just got to fine-tune some things on a good night. He looks really really good. That’s a really nice curve. He reminds me of Max Freed. Same build, left-handed, big curve ball. Good change up. Just a little bit of tweaking and I think we got something with him. But again, I’m based on how he’s doing now, I don’t see how you can pencil in a spot for him in the rotation next year. We need something a little bit better. Yeah, I was just about to say, Phantom, next year you might see uh a bullpin transition for Povich. That’s a way to keep him up in the bigs. He can help out, but just not starter material. I I’m not I’m not ruling out that he could be a starter, though. I really do think, again, you know, I don’t think Drew French is doing a bad job, honestly. Um particularly right now. I mean the bullpin we have it’s a uh rag tag bunch of castaways for the most part. But uh you know we we’ve been getting some nice bullpin performances. Cage Straoud has been nice. Rico Garcia has been nice. Dietrich Ends has been pretty good. We found some treasure in this uh pileing for gold here. But uh yeah, I still think there is a lot to be addressed with the bullpen before opening day 2026. Oh, by the way, folks, you know, the uh schedule is out for 2026. I did I I had heard it like two days ago, I guess, but I didn’t think to look at what the Orioles were going to be facing next year. Uh but I did just before going on the air today. Guess who we play for the final series in 2026? I’ll give you a hint. It’s the same team we’re playing in the final series this year. That’s right, folks. Major League Baseball knows what they’re doing. Orioles Yankees matched up in 2026 for the final series of the season. We’re going to do it again. Oh, wait a minute. I think my game just got bumped. Hold on. I hate when that happens. They kicked me off alive. I’m sitting here going, “Shouldn’t Yeah, folks, I missed an entire at bat. The Pirates have a runner on. Sorry about that. This happens sometimes on MLB TV. It kicks you out of live and then you’re watching a commercial thinking you’re just waiting for the game to restart. No, you got to go back and hit the live button. So, here’s the deal. What did I miss? Well, here’s a fly ball to center field by Brian Reynolds. That’s the first out. Tommy Fam has gotten on base to lead off this inning. Uh he was walked by Povich. So that’s where we’re at. A runner at first and now one out. Cade Povich is on 85 pitches here in the top of the sixth. This is shaping up to be his final inning. Nick Gonzalez is up. He’s one for two. There’s a strike. 0 and one. Gonzalez RBI single in the ball game. The 01 from Slim. Nope. He’s going to snap throw to first. And Fam is back standing. By the way, we open next season at home against the Twins. 01 pitch. That ball is fouled away. 0 and2. Couple of other things that jumped out at me from memory. We have a West Coast trip next year uh next year where we play six games all in the LA area. We play the Angels and the Dodgers back to back. So, we’re spending a full week in LA next week, next year. 02 pitches low, one and two. We also have several occasions where we play a team in a four game series, play another team for three, and then that team we played four against, we play another three. So, a lot of seven games out of 10 versus one team situations next season. We’re going to get used to a lot of teams over the course of 10 days. Here’s a foul ball by Gonzalez. The count is a ball and two strikes. That ball really took a hard turn as it hit the uh seam of the infield grass. Otherwise, I might have stayed fair. One and two on Gonzalez. One out. Runner at first. Pitch number 90 of the afternoon coming up here from Povich. is outside two and two. Pitch that’s fouled away. Still two and two. Andrew McCutchen is on deck. Povich from the belt. Another 22 is up and away. Full count. I just got a little whisper from the hat. The hat might be making an appearance soon here today. They call me the hat whisperer. That ball’s hit to right and Jeremiah Jackson is going to have room to make this catch in foul ground down the right field line where there is not a whole lot of foul territory. Maybe a few feet. And that’s going to do it for Povich. 93 pitches, two down in the inning. and Manscolino is coming out to pull him. Why? Uh probably because the next batter is Andrew McCutchen and Manelina wants a righty on righty. He feels Povich is done. Looks like we’ve got is that Canó? Oh my Yinier Canó coming in. I think folks call to the bullpin breaking the action. We got a 2-2 ball game. Top of the six. The Pirates with a runner at first and two down. McCuten do up. Folks, uh, let me step aside for a moment and I’ll be right back. Thanks for tuning in. Please hit the like button if you haven’t already and subscribe. as the Indians have the winning one in scoring position. The tying run is at second. The winning run is at first. And it’s ball one to K. Regardless, Matteo stands at third now with one down. Matteo the winning run on at third. Carlson at second. Holiday aboard at first. He just walked in the run. Now the winning run coming to the plate. And Ryan Roberts. The winning run. Why Why all these professional announcers and ex ball players keep referring to these guys as the winning run? Don’t they know anything about baseball? Final line on Povich. Well, it’s not final because he does have an inherited runner out there. So, let’s wait on it. Canó is on in relief. First pitch to McCutchen is taken low. This is the 60th appearance for Cano on the season. His erra is right on five. 4.99. A 10 pitch is in there. A slider to even up the count. One ball, one strike. Cut is 0 for two. That ball’s lined and it’s a base hit in the left. Why cano? Why? Not in a tie ball game, Tony. Not in a tie ball game. McCutchen keeps the inning going with a single. Runners at first and second now with two away. And that’ll bring up Joey Bart. Bart is 0 for two. Now, the one thing that is somewhat appealing about this is that Bart, at least historically, I don’t know about this season, but I’ve played enough of the video game, I’ve had Joey Bart as a catcher, and he hits lefties a lot better than righties. Uh, and he just took a terrible half swing on the first pitch. A sinker from Canó. So that is a good sign. Bart looking very uncomfortable going after that first pitch. It’s 0 and one. Next one is fouled away. 0 and2. Two strikes on Bart. Two down in the inning, two men on base in a two-2 ball game. Folks, deuces are wild. Canó leans in, gets the sign, and here’s the pitch that’s in the dirt. And Jackson popped up looking at maybe checking a runner at a base somewhere, but he kept the ball. The count is one and two on Bart. Canó dangling that throwing arm, leaning in for the sign. Here’s the one, two. That’s fouled back. We will do it again. Is that the Oral Bullpin? They’ve got like umbrellas and like lounge chairs. The Oral Bullpin looks like club med. What’s going on out there? One, two again to Bart. Oh god. Pano with an awful pitch. Jackson can’t prevent it from going all the way to the back stop. And two runners will advance. Instead of first and second, now it’s second and third. And a base hit would drive in two. A bad pitch from Canó. We just need a strike to get out of this inning. The two- two pitch. Oh, a beauty. Oh, Canó. Good grief. You give me ulcers, buddy. But once in a while, you pull off a nasty pitch. And that was one right there, folks. That pitch, it felt like it moved two different directions on the way in there. It’s a called strike three to get us out of the inning with this game still tied. All right. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? I swear I need to look at that pitch again. That pitch looked like it started to move away from the batter and then started to move into the batter all at once. That was nasty. What the hell was that? That’s like a UFO. That’s like having a missile bounce off a UFO or some crazy damn thing. Hey, do we have an update on that story? By the way, I have to admit I haven’t had time to look. All I know is yesterday there is an unidentified flying object hit by a missile and the missile bounced off and the UFO took off and nobody knows what it is. What the hell is that? Hello. Like folks, if we’re ever gonna get the human race to kind of, you know, rally together, it’s got to be against aliens, right? Can we all agree uh to maybe partner up on one thing? Let’s not be uh you know, taken over by uh you know, green monsters from outer space. Can we figure out what this UFO is, please? It’s not a good sign if we fire a missile at it and the missile bounces off. That sounds like like some Buck Rogers stuff. What’s going on? What is going on? Was it a Nerf missile? All right, we are in the is it the bottom of the sixth? Holy cow, folks. Time’s moving here. First pitch, ball one to Emanuel Rivera, the Kraken at the plate, leading off the bottom of the six. He’s 0 for two. That ball is hit into left field for a base hit. Rivera, how did you get the bat head of that pitch? that pitch half a foot inside and somehow Rivera got the bat head in there. I say half a foot, I’m going to say 9 in. A solid 9 in in on the hands and he somehow turns on it for a leadoff single. Turn on the faucet. Dylan Beaver’s first pitch popped up right field. Reynolds is going to wait for it and he’s got it. Uncharacteristic of Beavers, that’s the second time today he’s made a quick out. Normally he’s working counts and waiting for a pitch to do something better with than he has today. Uh he’ll have another chance to hit in this one, I would think. Colin Holderman, a right-hander up for the Pirates in their bullpen. Ovedo, the starter, still out there on 75 pitches. Colton Cowser shows bunt, but it’s a strike. Cowser’s 0 for one. He drew a walk and stole a base his first time up. Came around to score. And that nice little sequence, that pitch outside by a foot or more. It’s a ball and a strike on the milkman, folks. Any cows? Hello. Uh, seriously, Charm City, what have you done? I know we’ve had a lot of late night walk-off wins lately. Is everybody just hung over? Need I remind you, I’m the one up at 2 in the morning right now, not you. This is the middle of the afternoon, folks. Is it happy hour already for everybody? Come on, people. Oh, I love picking on my own audience. It’s two and one on Cowser. What happened again? It just kicked me off. Okay, make it three and one. All right, I just jumped ahead apparently in time. 3-1 pitch coming. That’s a strike taken by Cowser. Full count. Here’s a bugle. Apparently, I was a few seconds behind cuz between pitches there, it just jumped from one pitch to the next. It’s a full count on Cowser. One out. Runner at first is Rivera. I don’t think you’re going to want to send him with his lack of speed and Cowser’s swing and miss tendencies. Cowser fouls that full count. Pitch off. We’ll do it again. Cowza, come on, buddy. I got a I got a feeling he’s going to have a hot streak before this season’s over. He just drew another walk, folks. This is the beginning of the turnaround for Cowser. I believe that’s the fourth walk he has drawn in the last two games. That’s helping. Hey, look at that. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. Baltimore now have runners at first and second. And Sammy Basio, who’s been held to an 0 for two day. Come on, Sammy. RBI spot to take the lead. What do you say? First pitch from Ovido is a curveball that’s inside for ball one. Folks, this is Sammy’s moment. Sammy. In fact, if something doesn’t happen on this pitch, I know what to do. Popped up. Get out of play. Get out of play. It’s out of play. All right, folks. We know what to do right now. Why didn’t I think of this sooner? Ladies and gentlemen, the hat. All right, one and one the count on Basio. Now what happens? That ball is hit into the hole at short. They will get the force at second and that’s it. That’ll be a fieldielder’s choice for Basio. He nearly found the hole on the left side of the infield, but the shorts stop going into the hole able to backhand and get the force at second. Two down with runners at the corners now for Baltimore. The hat don’t play and this inning ain’t over yet. The inning is not over, but the day is over for Johan Oedo. He is being taken out right now. Same spot like Kade Povich, a man on base. Well, he’s got two. But with two down in the sixth, that’s when the Pirates are going to the pin. Same spot as us. Should be that right-hander Colin Holderman coming in. Alex Jackson. Do up next? The right-hander. So yeah, you had three straight lefties, Beavers, Cowser, and Basio. For whatever reason, they felt comfortable keeping the starter Ovado out there to face him. But now we’ve got a couple of righties do up with two down. And that’s the job for Holderman coming in. Get out these two guys. That’s probably all he’ll face. because he only needs one out to get out of the inning. He could wind up facing just one guy, but then the next inning another righty would lead off. He’d probably get that guy and then get taken out and then a lefty would come in for Holiday and Gunner at the top of the order. That’s how this is shaping up. Uh out of town scores, we haven’t had a look at that yet today. Holy cow. Are we the only game in town? Is there only one other game going on right now, folks? Regular regular baseball fans, you might not be an oral fan and you’re tuning in right now because there’s only one other game on and it’s the White Socks. And who wants to watch that? Hey, the Pirates and Orioles might be having losing seasons here, but we’re not White Socks bad. And if you’ve been following uh you know, the nightly summary of games around the league, you’d know that there’s been some exciting baseball here in this series. So, if you’re here right now watching, welcome in. If it’s your first time, this is the Orioles Bird Watcher channel. It is dedicated to covering baseball for Orio fans. But guess what, folks? Everybody’s invited. If you’re a baseball fan, this is a good channel to subscribe to. Give it a chance. There’s no uh no strings attached. All right, here’s the reliever Holderman. First pitch to Alex Jackson is a strike. Bottom of the zone. The Orioles have Rivera at third. And Basio, is that Basio at first? Uh, that pitch is off the plate. And the count now a ball and a strike. And Basio’s at first base. The 1-1 is in there for a strike. Holderman has inherited 17 base runners on the season. He’s allowed seven of them to score with two down. We’re looking for a hit unless Pittsburgh wants to help us out with a wild pitch. 99 miles an hour there from Holderman just off the plate outside. It is two and two now on Alex Jackson. pitch way outside at 100. Full count, folks. You talking about Odo Phantom with the 85 pitches? Yeah, I mentioned at the start of the game he’s coming off Tommy John. He’s only pitched 20 innings post Tommy John. So, yeah, I could understand them being careful with with him, but 85 pitches, even for a healthy guy, isn’t necessarily a short day. Uh, and again, uh, you know, back-to-back righties, if you’re going to bring in a righty like Holderman, now’s the time to do it. Two down. They’re hoping he doesn’t have to face Holiday. He gets out of this inning and then they can go to a lefty when Holiday comes up. Payoff pitch inside ball four. Alex had to turn out of the way of that one. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. Okay, folks. Bases are juiced and it’s time to whip out some mayo, folks. Kobe Mayo last time up took a pitch that was ball four. The ump called it a strike and Mayo wound up striking out. Here’s a chance to get his just rewards. First pitch is a strike on the inside edge. Base is loaded, two down. Mayo has an RBI single today. The 01 lifted into left. Come on. Drop somewhere. Drop. Drop. That ball is caught on the run. Pagguero the shorts stop running with his back to the infield for about a good 40 yards. Comes down with the baseball in his glove. Man, that ball looked like it would find some real estate and knock in a couple, but it’s not meant to be. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. James, I got to get that for a sound bite. I need Flora from Good Times. I’m going into my soundboard page and see if I can find me Flora going damn damn damn because that’s the best way to punctuate an inning like that. We don’t take the lead. Anybody remember my uh improvd song goo times when we were uh embracing the idea of saying goo in place of the word go. Anytime we wanted to say go, we say goo. All right. There’s a lot of damn damn damn Oh. Oh, I’m looking for uh I’m looking for good times, though. Is there a good time soundboard? Dino might uh not getting hassled, not getting hustled, keeping your head above water. Make it any way that you can. Temporary layoff. Good times. Easy credit ripoff. Good times. Temporary layoff. All right. Hey, folks. We’ve got a new pitcher out here. His name is Grant Wolfram. Wolfrram is on. His 19th appearance, erra of 4 and a2. Top of the seventh, first pitch is fouled away. It is Nick York at the plate. 789 hitters do up for the Pirates. We are tied at two. Game three. The Orioles looking for a sweep and hit the road. Here’s a slider from Wolfram. That’s inside. A ball and a strike. Bruh. All right. On point. What did I do now? What inspired the latest? Bruh. I don’t even know what I did this time. Sweeper inside. Two balls in a strike. York is one for two. And he makes a hell of a Peppermint Patty. That ball’s hit right to Holiday. A little flare caught just on the outfield grass. One away. Nice little soft liner to Jackson. Easy play. One down. I think my betting friend left for good. Did I make it clear that I did not care about his bet? Did I slightly make that known? Curve ball from Wolf from a good one. No, that called that a ball. I thought I saw the umpire point like it was a strike. There’s a swing and a miss. Another curve ball. That’s definitely a strike. I I’m still not sure if Madison has the scoreboard right. I could have sworn the ump signaled strike one on the first pitch. Yep, they just changed it. It’s 0 and2. Come on, Madison. That pitch is high. One ball, two strikes on point. Showing up right when I’m in the middle of my good times stickick. the one-two pitch inside. Canario hit a home run back in the third inning that tied this game up at two. And uh that’s where we are. No runs since the top of the third in this ball game. Now top seven. Two-2 from Wolfram. Fouled away. got that sinker up to 98 miles an hour. Wolf from getting close to triple digits there with a sinker by the way. Not a four seamer. That’s a called strike three on a curve ball. Grant Wolfram well done sir. That’s a strike out. Well, y’all come back now. You hear Wolf from throwing a sinker 98 and then following it up with a curve ball. Nice. Two down. Here’s Pagguero. He made a nice play in the field in the last half inning. At the plate today, 0 for one with a walk. That’s right, David. How you doing, buddy? Called strike oneonone. That’s right, David. I mentioned it earlier, but I looked at the standings after the games last night, and part of the standings listed the probability percentage of making the playoffs next to each team. You know what our percentage was? less than symbol 1%. So you’re telling me there’s a chance? Hey, that’s better than no chance. 2-1 pitch to Aguero. Swung on a miss to curveball. It’s two and two. Two down, bases empty. Top of the seventh. I know it’s infinitely more than zero. It’s immeasurably more than zero. We are alive. The 22 to Pagguero upstairs full count. Oh, we’re still alive. I forgot. I already did that impression a week ago. Can’t use it for a year. There’s a ground ball in the third base side and unfortunately Emanuel Rivera cannot field it cleanly. The ball trickles away. I think they’ll call it an infield hit. It was a long run to Rivera’s left to get to this ball and that’s probably what’s going to rule that a base hit. Two down with a runner at first for the Pirates. Back to the top of the order. Jared Triolo with Pagguero on at at first base. It is a hit. Okay, two down, runner at first. pitch from Oh, he’s going to check on the runner. Not a very good throw over. Cage Straoud is up in the oral pin. Hey Sam, how you been buddy? Here comes the next pitch. Well, the first pitch to Triolo and there goes the runner. Throw down is a little bit high and a little bit late. Aguero swipes second base. And now the Pirates have their go-ahead run in scoring position with two down. Good play by Holiday to keep that ball from going into the outfield. 01 is fouled back. All right, forget about that runner. We got two strikes and two out. Let’s just get this guy at the plate and get to the stretch with a tie. Sam, has Cruz had any hits today? Are you asking because of a bet, Sam? He’s not in the lineup. Uh, Triolo takes a 96 mph heater about a foot above the zone for ball one. Thank you, Sam. I didn’t think you were the type. We had a guy in here earlier asking me a very specific question. something like, “Has Jackson Holiday reached three at bats yet today?” Yeah, there’s a normal question for a fan checking in on the ball game. Oh gosh. One, two, pitch, curveball outside, two and two. Hey, BW. Uh, has uh, has K. Povich gotten a five strikeouts yet today? Oh, gee, why? Why? I wonder why you’re asking. Full count on Triolo. Two down in the inning. Runner at second base. Wolfrram’s 22nd pitch since coming on. popped up. All right, we’re going to get out of the inning. Cowser’s there. He makes the catch in center field. Flips the ball into the crowd in the right center field. Bleachers to a guy that looks about my age, but with worse male pattern baldness. All right, seventh inning stretch time. Folks, we got traditions around here. We like to throw some cake on the griddle. Uh, get your cakes up. Okay. Thank god I’m a country. Did I hold that note a little too long this time? Thank god I’m a country. Don’t worry, my neighbors don’t care. It’s 2:00 in the morning. Thank god I’m a country boy. Thank god I’m a country. Hey folks, we just hit 100 likes. Hey, David. I give me a chance to do it when I’m standing. When I can actually make the most out of my diaphragm. This is me just sitting on a shitty chair. Hey, cakes on the griddle, folks. Thank god I’m a country boy. How can I forget him? David, thank God I’m a country boy. But David, in all honesty, I’m the annoying neighbor around here. It’s me. Thank god I’m a country boy. Everybody else on my floor is quiet. I never hear anybody make a peep. I’m the jerk. Thank god I’m a country boy. Thank god I’m a country boy. Thank god I’m a country boy. If I still smoked there’s no way I could hit a note that long. Well, you’re implying that you don’t. So does that mean you can? And if you can’t hold the note that long, not smoking, why not go back to smoking, I guess. I don’t know. You know, I mean, if you’re not getting any advantages out of quitting, I you do you, George. I’m not trying to encourage bad habits, but you know. Hey, folks. Prolley. Hey, Jackson Holiday has a kind of a ball and a strike leading off the bottom of the seventh. We got the top of the order, man. Time to take the lead. Come on. One-1 pitch. Call it a strike by that awful lump. That pitch is low. He blew another call against us. It’s one and two on Holiday. Wolf, why don’t you wake up and smell what you shoveling? Never smoked in my life. Well, Edward, I wasn’t talking to you. You mean to tell me you’ve never smoked a ham? You haven’t lived unless you’ve smoked a ham. What? You’ve been eating ham unsmoked? You’re missing out, dude. Two and two the count on Holiday. He’s one for three. Olderman, by the way, still out there facing Holiday. They did not go to a lefty in this spot. That pitch is low and in. It’s a full count, folks. Yeah. See, Phantom smoked a pork shoulder. Nice. I think I did a bong hit with that once. Jackson Holiday lifts one over the infield into center field for a leadoff single. Folks, I told you we had the right guys up to take the lead. We got the leadoff man on. He’s got legs. Just don’t get caught out there, my friend. Come on. Here we go. Jeremiah Jackson at the plate. Runner at first. Nobody out. First pitch swung on and missed. Pitch on the outside corner at the knees. All right, folks. Now’s the time. Leo 01. There goes Holiday. The throw down. Please tell me he got in. He did. And it looked like he did, folks. Holiday got away with it this time. And you got to put the blame on the Pirates here. The throw was there in plenty of time. It wasn’t right on the bag. A tag had to be applied, but it just wasn’t a good it just he just had to slap it down there. Gonzalez and Holiday with a bit of a swim move to kind of circle around the base and avoid that tag. So, good technique on Holiday on that slide. And now here’s a fly ball by Jackson Jeremiah. That is that’s going to be to right field caught by Reynolds. And that won’t move Holiday up. So, Holiday got to second base with nobody out. Jeremiah with a chance to get him to third, but not with that fly ball. There’s a one away. And now it’s Gunner Henderson. His name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. Gunner is going to be put on for free, folks. On for free. I’m walking here. I’m walking here. Apparently, the Pirates haven’t gotten the memo that Emanuel Rivera has been delivering a lot of clutch hits lately, and that’s why we’ve got him hitting cleanup today. They said, “We don’t want Gunner. We want Emanuel Rivera.” Well, Kraken, get cracking. One out, two-1. Rivera one for three. First pitch taken right in there. A cutter middle of the plate. Hitable pitch. Rivera chose not to go after it. The count is 0 and one. The next pitch. That’s way off the plate. Nice. One and one. The count. Well, Phantom, just wait for Gunner’s next walk and you’ll get another angry Gunner. Here’s the one-1 pitch. Whoa. Rivera. Dude, lean into that one, dude. Oh, man. Rivera, I He’s even got an elbow guard on, doesn’t he? Uh, or no, he doesn’t, dude. You got to take one for the team there, man. All Rivera’s got to do is just hang in there. And he’s hit by that pitch in a spot that probably wouldn’t have really hurt him too much. Two-1 pitch is a called strike. It’s two and two. That would have loaded the bases with one down with Beavers up next. Damn. Damn. Damn. Rivera, lean into that. I mean, you didn’t even really have to lean. Just don’t lean out of the way. 22. Whoa. Close one. We get the call. Borderline 99 mph pitch. Top of the zone. Outside edge. Full count, folks. Payoff pitch coming to Rivera. Oh, he chased a cutter off the plate and strikes out. Crap. Crap. Oh, Rivera, you should be on base hit by a pitch. Man, don’t turn away from that one next time. I know it’s easier said than done, but damn it. Hold now going to depart with Beavers due up. The Pirates are now going to go to a lefty. Beavers is 0 for three and he’s looks like he’s going over a scouting report. Let’s see who this lefty is coming in for the Pirates. Call to the bullpen. Call to the bullpen. We’ve got two down. We’re in the bottom of the seventh. The go-ahead run for Baltimore is at second base. Another runner at first. Beavers do up. It’s going to be a guy named Cisk. Cisk, who are you, buddy? Evan Cisk. S I S K. And no, I’m not talking about the Maryland hot dog SK. I’m talking about a couple of letters here, folks. Evan Cisk is a lefty, 28 years old out of Chester, South Carolina. Folks, I lived in South Carolina. Never heard of Chester. That has got to be in bum f somewhere. Uh notes on him. 4.26 erra, a 1.58 whip. He has gone uh somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 or 13 innings on the season. There it is. 12 and 2/3. Eight walks. Eight walks in 12 and two/3. That’s a lot. Plus 12 hits. So yeah, the whip is not good. Over one and a half base runners per inning. Let’s see what Beavers can do. Lefty on lefty here, folks. George and Phantom have already joined in on the fun. Show me your beavers right now. Nice beaver. Thank you. First pitch from Cisk. Oh, he comes in with a three quarter arm delivery there. Almost a sidearm delivery. Cisk started the season as a Royal. He whips that pitch in there for a strike. A sinker. The count is one ball, one strike. Beavers hasn’t done much against lefties yet. Hitting 091. That’s probably like what a one for nine. That works out to about a one for nine. Uh two in one the count now on Beavers. pitch swung on and missed. Cisco has definitely got a little hitch in his giddy up on his delivery. And I can see how as a batter that might really screw up your timing. Just kind of explodes with the pitch. The 22. That one’s in the dirt. Full count, folks. Full count. Both runners will be in motion on this pitch. We could do a lot of damage if Beavers can find some real estate right here. 3-2 pitch. Hit on the ground up the middle and off the glove of the second baseman. He’s throwing home. We’re coming home and we score. Beavers does it again. He sneaks one past the infield. Holiday comes around to score. The Orioles have taken the lead 3-2. Dylan Beavers, all he does is get on base. Oh ho ho. It’s magic, you know. Oh, it’s magic. Colton Cowser takes a strike. It’s 0 and one. First and second now with two down. The Orioles have the lead here in the bottom of the seventh. Three to two. A chance to sweep. Cows are takes slow and away. Folks, get those cows up. Come on. I need your energy. I feed off of it. The hat feeds off of it. By the way, have you noticed how things are going in our favor since the arrival of the hat? Folks, you got to participate. This is a community. Let me try that again. This is a community. Damn it. The one two swinging a miss and Cowser’s down on strikes. The inning is over. M. All right, you can put the cows back in the barn, but the Orioles take the lead. The bee, leave it to Beavers, folks. Just leave it to Beavers. He gets a base hit. Lefty on lefty again. 091 average before that hit, which again I think is a one for nine situation. So now he’s two for 10. Now he’s a 200 hitter off of lefties. Nicely done by Dylan. Folks, we got a lead going into the eighth inning. Uh who was warming up? Uh it wasn’t Rico. Oh, it was uh Cade Strad, right? Cage Straoud probably going to come out here to pitch the eighth inning as our set of guy today. And who’s going to close? Folks, we don’t have a designated closer. And folks, I hope you remember is Chile here. I tell you what, if you guys remember, there was a a period there after the fire sale and Felix Bautista out for the season where Keegan Aken had come in for a couple of save opportunities and then we had a game, can’t remember who, but it was just like it was a one-run lead. Aken had just come in like the previous game to nail down a one-run lead save and I was like, you can’t do that. What you’re doing right now is telling Aken that he’s the guy. And this is what you don’t do when you got a bullpin like this. Don’t designate any of these guys as the guy. If one naturally emerges, fine, but don’t try and force it because now Aken it’s it’s it’s just, you know, being a closer it’s a mentality. It’s it it really does play mind games with pitchers. Um and I said that that was a mistake. You can’t try to designate any of these guys. Not Akin, not anybody. And tell me I’m wrong because Manscolino he’s he’s he’s been going with that approach after that Aken debacle. It has been a complete uh like random who’s going to be the closer today situation. Ground ball to third base. Rivera going to make this play and we’ve got the first out here in the eighth inning quickly. Cade Straoud induces a ground out from Tommy Fam for out number one. Here’s Brian Reynolds. Reynolds is 0 for three. Now, here’s the deal about using somebody like Ens or Aken or uh Suarez, which is uh hold on with this pitch. That is a called strike bottom of the zone, 0 and one. Again, uh the Orioles are going to be going with a bullpin uh start on Sunday. So, the guys that we have in our pin that can go like extra more than one innings, I feel like we might want to put them on ice. Maybe not all of them, but uh Ends and Suarez, you might want to keep those guys ready for Sunday. I’d love to see Garcia, but it might be like a third straight night for him. So, he might not be available. We’ll see. It’s 0 and2 on Reynolds. Swinging a miss. Cage Stroud. Good morning, good afternoon, good night. Well, y’all come back now. You here? JJ, I’m so glad you’re here because you know what? You know I’m an honest guy. I totally haven’t gotten your plug in yet today. Let me do that here. Or at least let me get it ready. Two down in the inning for Nick Gonzalez. First pitch from Straoud. That’s a line drive base hit into left center. Cowser will cut it off and hold Gonzalez to a single. Two out knock for Pittsburgh. That’s their tying run on right now. Oh, JJ, you’re live right now. JJ’s live right now, folks. We’ll be redirecting over there after the ball game, but uh in the meantime, going to get this uh promo set up. There it is. All right, it’s ready to go. All right, here’s McCutchen with two down. Straoud’s first pitch to him is a little bit high. Runner at first, two away. We’re in the top of the eighth. The shift is on for the right-handed McCutchen Holiday nearly even with the second base bag. That’s high. It’s 2 and 0. Thanks for stopping by, JJ. I got a feeling you you typed that and and ran. You’re you’re live right now. 20 pitch outside. Three and 0. Come on, Cade. This is probably the one batter that scares you to fall behind right now. on this lineup. McCutchen, he’s been around the block. Three 0 pitch to Cut inside ball four. I don’t think Strad wanted to throw him a strike, but I don’t know why. I mean, McCutchen might be a dangerous bat for this lineup, but in general, the way Strad has been pitching, you got Joey Bart up next. I will admit it is a big drop off from McCutchen to Bart in terms of a threat at the plate, but it would have been nice to see Straoud have the confidence, I feel, to go after McCutchen there. I don’t know because there was a runner at first, right? He pushed that runner to Or was he already at second base? I forgot already. Yeah. Yeah, that pushed the runner to second. I mean, if the base was open, I could see pitching around McCutchen, I guess. But pinch runner on for McCutchen. It’s Gi Juan Bay. So, the veteran will take the rest of the day off and the light hitting bay. He’s got good speed is on now in his place. And speaking of newly into the game, Spencer Horowitz is at the plate. He’s up to pinch hit for Bart. So, there you go. Probably not the best idea to pitch around McCutchen because now you got a faster runner than him on base and the Pirates are now bringing up a left-handed bat instead of Bart. Spencer Horowitz, who had a home run in yesterday’s ball game. First pitch to him is up and away for ball one. Straoud’s got to get it together here. trying to protect a one-run lead that we just got the previous half inning. One to Spencer. There’s a strike. Wolf with that delayed call, but I would have probably broken all my equipment if he didn’t call that a strike. He finally does. It’s a ball and a strike right now on Horowitz. pitch bottom of the zone called strike two. All right, folks. We are one strike away from holding the lead and a chance to add on in the bottom of the inning before going to the ninth. One ball, two strikes. Two on, two out. The pitch, swing, and a miss. Oh yes, a cutter below the zone. Horowinance went fishing and there ain’t nothing on that hook, folks. Nothing. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Well, you all come back now. You hear? Hit the bricks, pal. You’re done. You get nothing. You lose. Good day, sir. Well, when you I say when you got to go, you got to go. How about this? Peace dope. Now, get the hell out of here. All right, folks. Bottom of the eighth coming up. Bottom of the eighth coming up. The Orioles looking for some insurance. They’re looking to sweep. And we’ve got the top of the order due up. Holiday, Jeremiah, and Gunner. Let’s go, folks. I have not monitored the room at all. We’re up to 112 likes. You guys have been great. You’re saving me a lot of hassle, and it makes me feel better that I’m not bugging you about it. 112 of you hit that like button already. Thank you so much. We’ve got plenty of people here though. We can bump it up more. So, a gentle reminder, if you’re watching, do help out the channel with an old thumbs up there at the bottom of your screen, device, whatever you’re using. Much appreciated. Uh folks, you can help out the channel in other ways. First of all, subscribe. Why? It’s free. It’s the best deal in town. If you’re not subscribed, do it. All right. No strings attached. If you don’t like it, unsubscribe. But you’re not paying for nothing. Uh, no salesman will visit your home. You will not get an email from a Nigerian prince asking you to send him 50,000 today so that he can send you 500,000 in a month. No scams, folks. Just a grassroots channel trying to grow. Subscribe. Thanks. All right, folks. Bottom of the eighth. Sammy Basio. Why did I say holiday was due up? I’m telling you, that’s what was on my screen. It felt like that didn’t seem right to me. But apologies all the same. Basio 1-1 pitch popped up left center center fielder running a long way in toward left and Canario makes the catch. Basio a quiet day 0 for four. New catcher in to replace Joey Bart after he was pinch hit for. It’s Henry Davis who caught the first two games of this series. Speaking of catchers, Alex Jackson’s up now. Cisk the lefty still out there on the mound since the previous inning. First pitch high to Alex for ball one. Uh yeah, I don’t know. Phantom again. Maybe uh the screen froze. I I don’t know. I don’t know. Who knows? Again, folks, this information here is just to try to help people. Uh but don’t rely on it, okay? Rely on me. I’m watching. I’m reporting and I’m letting you know what’s happening. Keep your ears open and all will be well, folks. All right, one and two on Alex Jackson. Cisk. Next pitch. He whips it in there. That’s a called strike three. Jackson goes down looking. Two away. That’ll get Kobe Mayo up to the plate and maybe our last chance for some insurance here. Mayo, I give you license to swing for the fences here. Go ahead. First pitch hit on the ground. That’s not going to get over any fence. Grounded a short and Mayo is finished on one pitch. Well folks, suddenly this game is coming to a quick end and it looks like Keegan Aken is going to be today’s closer. Aken takes a sip of water and he’s going to come in, try to shut the door on this one, and I don’t want to hear any negativity about this. Okay, we’re going to root on our boy. Try to get this save. Close the door. Close the door. Close the door. It’s a one-run lead going into the ninth, folks. All right, let me read this uh promo for JJ. So JJ has a charity event coming up. This is JJ speaking. For those of you who haven’t heard, I will be hosting my very first fundraising stream on September 18th and 19th. And we will be raising money for the familial familial dysotenomia foundation in honor of my brother Mitchell who passed away from this disorder five years ago. Uh, so JJ’s going to be running uh two long days of streaming on the 18th and 19th, 15 hours on day one, and another about eight hours on day two. All donations will go directly to the familiar dysotoninomia foundation which funds medical research, patient care, and support programs for families living with FD. If you want to learn more about FD, go to familiial dysinomia.org, which I know is a mouthful, so I’m going to try to copy and paste this link into the chat right now. All right, folks. And uh on those two days when JJ’s doing his fundraiser, uh we will be checking in with him when we’re when we’re doing our game. All right. Yeah, JJ JJ’s brother unfortunately passed away from this condition. Uh, hey Kurt Montgomery commenting, “BW is demand.” Folks, listen to some of these comments. We had uh native Virginia 8344 coming in earlier saying, “Just subscribed. We don’t do cable and you have been a godsend for my husband. Highly entertaining and great game. Thanks.” All right, Aken is on, folks. Nick York is at the plate. The first pitch is a strike. The next is not. The count is one and one. We’re in the ninth inning. Dylan Carlson is into the game. He’s in left field. Beavers moves to right. Jeremiah Jackson takes a seat for the defensive upgrade. Here is a check swing appeal. He didn’t go. It’s two and one on Nick York leading off the ninth. Pitch hit on the ground and gobbleed up by Jackson Holiday. Over to first in time. One away. Two outs to go. Two outs to go for a sweep. Holiday ranging far to his left to make that play. Here’s a ground ball stopped by Gunner. He pops up, throws, and throws it away, but it stays in the field of play thankfully. Canario up to hit. First pitch swinging hit a ball that Gunner did well to get to, but he tried to do a little too much. trying to throw out Canario with a bounce throw in there and Mayo could not handle that bounce. Luckily, the ball does not bounce out of play and Pagguero does not, not Pagguero, sorry, Canario does not advance. However, the Pirates are going to upgrade the base runner. Canario takes a seat. O’Neal Cruz gets into the game as a pinch runner. That is Pittsburgh’s wouldbe tying run on it first with one away. Pagguero at the plate and the first pitch to him is a foot outside. A change up for ball one. Bruise has 37 steals in 41 attempts. That ball’s lifted. Foul and Cruz not running. It’s a ball and a strike on Pagguero. Aken has the advantage of being a lefty and able to give a good look to Cruz before going into his delivery. And here’s a throw over. Not a pickoff move, kind of a throw. And Cruz is back standing. And Cruz and Mayo share a smile as if to say, “Yeah, that was kind of a pointless check.” There goes Cruz. The pitch is fouled away. And that pitch was above the zone. Oh, Pagguero. Big mistake. Take that pitch. Not only do you get a ball instead of a strike, O’Neal Cruz is probably now standing at second, but Pagguero does us a favor. Fouls it off. Two strikes on him. All right, one and two the count. The next pitch fouled straight back. Still one and two, folks. Hang in there. Orioles trying to hold on to a one-run lead. Yeah. Are the hearts flowing, George? George, could you do me a favor and update me about the heart situation in games like this? Cuz I can’t see that pitch up and away. The homeplayed umpire said he went. Oh my. The wolf. Jim Wolf rings up Pagguero himself on a check swing. And there doesn’t seem to be any complaining from the Pirates about it. It did look like he went. Oh, he definitely went. He very much went. They are two down, folks. One out to go. Akin checks on Cruz for the first time in this at bat. He’s got one more check. Third check without a pick and it’s a free base. Cruz wants to steal that bag. And we got a first pitch foul ball here from Triolo. All right, Cruz might not get a chance to steal that base. Two down in the ninth, one strike on Triolo. Charm City chat, are the hearts flying? Come on, help George out. The 01 pitch. That ball’s hit up in the air down the right field corner. Beavers does not have a play. He was near that triangle cutout down the right field corner trying to figure out exactly how that ball would land. And it was not in the field of play. Two strikes though, folks, and the Orio fans, what little of them are here, are on their feet. We are one strike from a sweep and a very good home stand. A win here would put us five and one on this sixgame home stand that included a three-game series with the Dodgers. The 02 to Triolo. There goes Cruz. There goes the throw down. The throw is there in plenty of time. And this ball game is over. Oh my. The Orioles are finding more exciting ways to win a ball game. Alex Jackson nails O’Neal Cruz trying to steal second. And this game’s over. Final score, Orioles three, Pirates two. We sweep it, folks. We sweep it. Oh, it’s magic ride. Believe in magic. Break out. folks. Oreo magic. Something magic happens. It’s called the hat. The hat is Orioles baseball. Folks, we done did it again. How about that for an end to a ball game? We had an ending on a umpire review. We had an ending where we broke up a no hitter with two out in the ninth to walk it off. We had an ending nailing one of the better base Steelers in all of baseball. What the hell was this home stand, folks? I tell you what, this season has been a disappointment, but this week has been a pleasure. Hold on a sec. I got to go grab something. I’ll be right back. All right. Sorry. Just uh doing a little bit of uh cleaning around here. Just trying to wipe off some of the uh dust and debris in the area. You know, this workstation around here gets a little bit, you know, you get some of that extra dirt and dust. You just got to got to get it out of the way there. Yes. Yes. Oh my good. Where’s Dr. Delay? Hold on, folks. Hold on. I don’t want him to have signed off already. It’s time to give the doc a big old hello as we sweep the pirates, folks. So, yeah, let’s let’s join delay. Let’s join. Come join me on this link right now. Again, I do mostly pirates. It’s not I’m not telling you that. Hey, like I’m not call I’m calling every game for the Pirates. It’s not what’s happening. But I do call it more than any other streamer on YouTube. Here we go. So if you’re We are in with But don’t subscribe to me because Oh, you don’t Well, then what the heck is wrong with you? I can barely hear his audio. I got it all the way up. Steelers game, but I do mix in other games as well. Um you can just again check out my live section for proof. And again, I’ll be back tonight for again Redskins Packers. And of course, I’ll get my stream set up for Saturday. Why are you saying Redskins Packers? Like it’s really weird that people are doing that. Like if you’re calling the game or bird watcher, how about them apples? This guy. I’m not even talking smack Orioles, but here. Yeah. Okay, you got us. In the battle of mid, we lost. And you know what? That’s fair. You know what? At least we didn’t have expectations this year. Who really lost? That’s your comeback. At least we didn’t have year record to last year. What happened then? At least we didn’t have expectations again. I think you guys will be fine next year, Orioles. But um but uh yeah, we’re just we’re just a dumpster fire. The Pirates so bad, you know. But again, congratulations to the Orioles. I really do I genuinely enjoy talking with you Orioles bird watcher and the Orioles fans. I hope you guys do magically get to 82 and 80. That would be pretty good stuff. Good stuff, Doc. We’re just so bad. So BW is the man. He is. I He’s He’s such a pleasure to talk to. So I do appreciate you guys. That’s very nice. But yeah, you catch me while I’m crashing out over here. So that’s that’s all right, Doc. That’s all right. And thank you guys so much. All right, Doc. We’re out. Have expectations. Yeah, we have none. you guys have expectations coming in this year. All right, Dr. Delay, folks. Uh here again, go ahead and sub up and hit the like button on his We’ll have to chat channel there if you don’t mind. Watch again. Appreciate all you guys for hanging out. I am going to sign off. I will. All right, sign off, Doc. I got things to talk about cuz we won again. I guess if you lose this game, you got to sign off super quick. Not me. Not me. Coming up on 3:00 a.m. local time. How you doing everybody? The hat. Hold on. Let me remove the hat. Very. Okay. All right. Look at it. Oh, all its glory. The hat, folks. The hat. He did it again. the hat. What in the hell? What in the hell? Uh, no one can defeat me at this point. This is hilarious. Who are you? What? What is this? Who is this newest? What? Hey, Oliver is here, bro. Are you talking about yourself in the first person? That’s how you introduce yourself. Wait, hold on. I’m trying to figure out who Oliver is. Oliver has gotten really chatty and I missed it all. I missed all of it. Oliver, who are you? All right, first of all, bit of a red flag. changes his avatar in the middle of hanging out. That’s weird. That’s already sus. I hope Boston Celtics loses this year and Lakers win the champion with Luca D. Okay, that really ties in with everything going on here. Yeah, Lakers talk. Wow. Oliver, you you are giving me all of the indications that you’re really obnoxious. Might I be right about that? Might I be right that you might be a little bit obnoxious and maybe not in the right place? Might I be right, Oliver? H [ __ ] It’s called decorum. Look into it. On point. You know what I ignore? I ignore people telling me to ignore other people. I I got this on point. Okay. I’m having fun. I’m having fun. The game has ended. We’re celebrating. Just buy the ticket. Take the ride, dude. I’m steering the ship. It’s okay. Okay. Hey, there’s the doc. Hey Doc, you know my buddy Thomas Fitzpatrick’s been on the channel here. You know Thomas, right? Sorry, Charm City chat. Sorry. You know, sometimes uh other content creators, they got to admit, sorry, Charm City chat. Sorry. What are you gonna do, Doc? What are you gonna do? I’ll tell you this, Doc. I know uh those were some tough losses, a couple of extra inning losses, and O’Neal Cruz getting gunned down to end the game, but uh if you’re a neutral fan, right, like me not talking smack, you not worried about the Pirates, if we’re just a couple neutral baseball fans looking at this series, this was a pretty exciting series. Am I wrong? Pretty exciting series except the Pirates stink. Well, I’ll tell you this. Your your lineup really doesn’t have a whole lot in terms of threat. I can tell you that. You know, you work around Brian Reynolds and uh O’Neal Cruz a little bit. And who else? One other guy, McCutchen a little bit. You I mean otherwise. Yeah. Unless our pitcher is having a bad night. This is this is a lineup I wouldn’t mind facing more often. No offense, but hey, you got Paul Sk. And I tell you right now, every Orio fan out here would give their left nut to have Paul Skins on their team. Unless they’re a lady. Uh they might give up something else. Left ovary. I don’t know what’s the equivalent. Anyway, let’s talk about this game. Hey, speaking of ladies, Melanie Newman is on the Mass and Postgame show. How you doing, Melanie? You are looking healthy today. All right, the Orioles wrap up this home stand. a home stand that included four walk-off wins and a end a game by throwing out a guy at second win for a sweep. I mean, Hollywood story stuff going on at Camden Yards this week. So, for you uh bird watchers out there that decided, you know what, I’m not going to pack it in on this season. I’m not giving up now that it’s September and football’s here. I love my Orioles and I’m going to keep watching. Well, guess what you got? You got a reward. This week has been fun. All right. Again, we’ve already been through the grieving process. We’ve been through all the stages, right? Denial and then uh depression and then anger and then acceptance. I don’t know. Those all might be out of order, but we went through all the stages and that was months ago. All right. Uh, the season’s winding down and I’ve been saying it now since the trade deadline. At this point, let’s just try and assess what we got. Who do we want to stay here and be a part of our plans next season? And who needs to, you know, say thanks and so long farewell and thanks for all the fish. Brian Roberts is talking to Melanie Newman. I’m waiting for his eyebrows to go up. It’ll happen any second now. You can set your watch to it. Uh, who’s Daniel? Oh, denial. I read that as Daniel. I’m like, who’s Daniel? Denial made a reappearance in July. Yeah. Yeah. There were a couple of times, Phantom, where we went on a little bit of a run and going, “What if? What if?” And that was before other teams were really pulling away. But the fact is, I know that the Rays started to stink here recently. I think they’ve lost like four out of five, five out of six, and now they’re back under 500 again. But a week ago, I saw something about what the records were for all the teams in baseball post Allstar Break. And like of the top five or six records, four of them were in our division. The Blue Jays, the Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Rays, all playing well above 500 in the second half. So yeah, it’s just this season wasn’t meant to be. We dug ourselves a hole early and we never got really that close to even getting out of last place. So yeah, we needed to have some fun. We deserved to have some fun and fun we had on this home stand. We go five and one. We beat the likes of Show Otani. We beat the likes of Yamamoto. We beat the likes of Paul Skins. That ain’t shabby, folks. Uh Kade Povich today goes five and two/3 innings, five hits, a couple of walks. He struck out six. Uh he does not get a decision. And the decision goes to Grant Wolfram who pitched the inning before the Orioles took the lead for good in the bottom of the seventh. Wolram pitched the top of that inning. Scoreless inning of work got him his third win of the season. Colin Holderman is saddled with the loss and Keegan Aken gets his fifth save of the season. By the way, there are eight different Orioles with saves now on the year. uh last I checked. So again, Akin might have the most uh beyond our injured mountain, but uh he’s not the guy. He was the guy today, but we don’t have a guy. And uh we’re working around that. We’re doing all right right now. We are doing all right. And guess who we got going up tomorrow night? I don’t think I’ve Did I already set it up in my uh scrolling text down there? What does it say? Kramer versus Sherzer. Okay, I don’t think that’s right, folks. In fact, I know that’s not right. I gotta I got to update that. Kramer is going to get Yeah, let me go back to Rock Kabako’s Twitter feed because we’ve got the probable starters listed there. Kramer is getting skipped. Couple of other guys are getting bumped up because we had the off day on Monday. Okay, so Trevor Rogers is going tomorrow night. So there you go, folks. You want to keep this fun going? We got Trevor Rogers on the mound tomorrow night. So forget what you see on the scrolling text. Well, I’ll change it now. It’s Rogers against. And it’s not Sherzer either for T for Tampa or for Tampa for Toronto. Uh standby for the uh Toronto probables. I saw it listed somewhere. Was it Basset? It might be Basset. Hm. Maybe it’s within this article. Hang in there, folks. Okay, there it is. Yeah, Chris Basset. Tomorrow, Sherzer on Saturday, Bieber on Sunday. So, tomorrow night we’re going to go north of the border into Toronto. Trevor Rogers against Chris Basset. Okay, the stream for that game will start at 6:50 p.m. with first pitch just after 7:00. Get here by seven and you won’t miss first pitch. Get here 10 minutes earlier and get caught up with all the news. Okay, Rogers versus Basset, 6:50 p.m. tomorrow. Uh, by the way, what are we now? Eight games. D. We’re going to have to We’re going to play this game again, folks. We are now eight games under 500. We have now won eight of our last nine games. We are eight and one in our last nine games. I mean, this is the best stretch we’ve had in the second half. We had a stretch where we won five out of six. Excuse me, six out of seven. And we had another stretch where we won No, that’s this stretch. Yeah, we won six out of seven between Seattle, Houston, and Boston. We also won six out of seven with Cleveland, Colorado, and Toronto. But right now, we’ve won seven out of eight. Excuse me, eight out of nine. Sorry, we’ve won eight out of nine. I apologize. By the way, the attendance today was uh very poor. They announced 13,957. That has got to be up there with the lowest attended game of the season at home. I’m trying to scan right now to look for a lower number. And the only ones that are lower in the second half of the season anyway are the three games we played in the spring training complex where the Rays are. This is the lowest attended game of the second half otherwise home or away which is uh you know I understand what today is Deshawn. I don’t think there’s a track record of people not attending ball games simply because it’s 9/11 if that’s what you’re implying. I think it’s more to do with the fact that it’s a afternoon game on a weekday and uh two teams not exactly grabbing headlines with their seasons that they’re having. Uh yeah. Yeah, I know. I know the factors that are at play here. This is a poor attendance with all those other factors you guys are talking about included. Okay, don’t try to sugarcoat 13,000. And honestly, when I looked at the ballpark, I guessed 10 because uh there was maybe three, four sections right behind the plate that were more than half full. Everything else was just a, you know, six, seven people per section. It was bad. It should have been zero. Why? Why? Why should have no one come to the game today? Explain. What? Out of protest? Is that the idea? three-foot company. What happened? What does that mean? All right. Suddenly, it’s become a private conversation between me and Deshawn. I think I need to move on now. All right. So, once again, the pitching matchup tomorrow has been updated. It’s going to be Trevor Rogers against Chris Basset. 6:50 p.m. for the start of the stream. Hope you’ll join me. And again, if you did not hear the news earlier, we got a new president. Huh? What? Okay. They should have been in school or working to protest providing. Protest providing. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that phrase in my life. What does protest providing mean? All things considered, I feel like it was higher attendance due to the Okay, you guys win the argument. It’s the lowest attended game of the season. And again, track record games played on September 11th. Would you like me to give you the rundown of every ball game today and what their attendance is and how it compares to other games like September 12th or September 10th? I don’t think that makes a difference. I don’t think people are going, you know what, I’m not going to the game today because 24 years ago 9/11 happened. Okay. Yeah, I said that. I said it’s an afternoon game and it’s still bad attendance. Hello. Can’t both be true. Good grief. You guys really want to die on this hill? I’m moving on. Okay, it was bad attendance and it’s unfortunate because it was an exciting game. That’s all I wanted to say. It was supposed to be a five second just throwaway comment and now you’re bringing up the name Trump. Okay, Deshawn, I got a feeling you’re just trying to be an antagonist at this point. Are you trying to antagonize me? I got five minutes to wrap this up. How about you spend it in a timeout? Okay. Suddenly, you need to give me 30 comments in a row. You just really needed to talk to me. It was very important to explain to me what the deal was with the attendance. For some reason, it was very important to you. I’m going to try to move on now. It’s not getting to me. I like to engage with the audience. I spend as much time engaging with people who agree with me or whatever. It’s not about, oh well, we have a we have a difference of opinion on something. They they must be trolling me. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. I’ll engage. I don’t care. How many How many of these have I dealt with? Do you guys think I’m just walking around carrying the hundreds of names of screen names from ball games I’ve called in the past, and they’re all just haunting me as I walk through the day? No. You’re in one ear and out the other. I sign off. It’s over. It’s no big deal. I really don’t need people to tell me how to handle this. I’m okay with it. Okay. All right. Good grief. Anyway, I think I’m gonna now uh just sign off. You guys really knew how to take a fun win and just take the air out of the room. Holy cow. Uh for everybody else, thanks for being here and enjoying the ball game. Nobody’s throwing me off track. It ain’t happening. Uh I’m sorry. I’m going to be the voice of the Baltimore Orioles until I drop dead. Get used to it. If you don’t like me, I’m sorry. If you want to try to throw me off track, keep trying. I’m not going anywhere. I’m the voice of the Orioles. Get used to it. Okay, good. Folks, I hope you enjoyed the ball game today. I want to say thanks to the mods for doing a bangup job in the super chat, keeping the chat nice and charming. Uh, thanks to everybody hitting the like button today. We going to hit about 130. We usually get a couple of more tapped in there. People watching later. And uh yeah, we just uh enjoyed a nice home stand. We’re going to hit the road up north of the border, folks. We got to go through customs. And here’s some news. Tyler O’Neal is allegedly gonna be in the lineup tomorrow night. Tyler O’Neal. Do I still have the button in here? Ahoy there. Anybody home? Yes, I do. There it is. Ahoy there. Anybody home? All right. Tyler O’Neal is going to be healthy for a game. We think Trevor Rogers is going to be on the mound. Lots of reasons to tune in tomorrow night. I hope he’ll join us. Uh, let me set up this to redirect you over to JJ and be sure to tell JJBBW said, “Oh, hello there.” Wait, I don’t see JJ on here. Is he not on? If he’s not, then we’ll go somewhere else. Oh, there it is. Why didn’t it pop up the first time? Who knows? Let me make sure. He’s doing Houston versus Toronto right now. Is this game Okay, that that game is going into the fifth inning. The Blue Jays have a four to nothing lead. JJ’s calling this game and I’m going to send you there right now, folks. Once again, hope you enjoyed the call and uh hope to see you back here tomorrow night taking on Toronto. Uh I can’t wear my blue shirt for a few days. Uh until then, folks, this has been the uh bird watcher and the hat. Hate is going to hate. Hey man, don’t hate the player. Hate the game. I got this. It’s mine. Have a good one, folks. I’ll chirp at you later. Take care. Peace.
