Between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Kansas City Royals. For the Philadelphia Phillies, it’s Walker Beller making his Phillies debut while the Royals will counter with Michael Laorenzan. And uh you know, Buer did not have the greatest tenure with the Boston Red Sox. I think that just goes without saying. And he’s coming into this game with a record overall this season of 7-7 with a 5.45 ERA. He did face the Baltimore Orioles back on August 19th. It was his last start for the Red Sox. Four innings, gave up two runs on four hits with four walks. He gave up four walks backto-back starts. And control continues to be an issue for Walker Buer who across his last seven starts, 38 innings of work has issued 22 walks, three walks or more in five of those seven starts. So, you know, you face a can, excuse me, a Kansas City lineup that against righties in the month of September. You know, it’s not been anything special from a batting average perspective, but they do have a decent walk rate and a low strikeout rate of 16.5%. I think they can get some base runners on the base pass here against Walker Beller and potentially cash in these runners. On the other side, though, you have the Phillies facing Michael Lorenzan who, you know, has been shaky at best on the road at times this season. He has given up four runs in three of his last four starts. You look at the home and road split for Lorenzan this year. Home is where he’s been better from an RA perspective at 390, excuse me, a 3.90 erra, but on the road a 5.22 erra. You’re facing a Phillies lineup that in the month of September, you know, has a 322 batting average against right-handed pitching. They’re second in team OPS, top five in isolated power. So, I think there’s going to be runs scored early and often on Laorenson. You have two bullpens that I’m not necessarily trusting right now. You know, the Phillies, you know, they have decent numbers on paper, but again, we’ve seen this team blow up far more often than not. The Royals, you know, same thing. They’ve been solid on paper, but again, do I trust them to be sustainable with it down the stretch? I’m not so sure. So, I’d rather just roll with what I what, you know, what I know here is that there’s going to be some runs. You could take the over in the first five. You don’t think that the bullpens cave as much as I do? But I’m still going with the the over and the full game here between the Royals and the Phillies. And that’s going to be my free pick.
