  3. I think for the fans at least (people in this sub mostly) this season could be good either way. If we win the div, that’s awesome for obvious reasons. If we lose it, maybe the FO will make some coaching changes in the postseason.

    We have a good team.

    We get to watch the Astros play baseball today.

    When baseball season is over, all I will want is more baseball, win or lose.

    The last month of baseball did not happen.

  13. Team has been a lousy ball club for 2 months now and have been the worst offense in baseball for the last 30 days. Now or never. Start of the last chance to right the ship.

  18. Tied with the Mariners. 2 games up on Rangers. Both are finding ways to win and we are easily finding ways to lose. Perfect part of the season to get on a hot streak. Cmon Stros!

I’ve continued to hear that injuries have ravaged this team while that statement is 100% true especially for pitching but hitting is as close to 100% minus Paredes and since Correa replaced Paredes plus his production has been better than most of our hitters. Hitting as a whole has been a trainwreck. No two ways about it, guys have underperformed. Outfield was gonna be a work in progress once Tucker trade was complete and it continues to be a major weakness on the team.

    I love to blame Snitker/Cintron but at some point, hitters have to hit. Altuve, Walker, Diaz, are having bad years while outfield is just a trainwreck. Only guys that have been good are Pena, Alvarez and Meyers (When Healthy). Honestly, I’m ok with missing the postseason, as long as Crane makes organization changes.

    Normally I’d be weary, but he’s been killing it in AAA, and more importantly, at home in AAA

  26. All I ask for is at least and entertaining baseball game. Maybe a smile from someone other than Sanchez?
