Kauffman Stadium’s insane ballpark dogs #mlb #baseball

The Royals offer two very different but equally as crazy ballpark dogs. And I tried both to see which one takes the Coffman Stadium crown. This is at the Stadium Food Review, the series where I try the best and craziest foods in sports. Today I’m at Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City, home of the Royals, a place that is no stranger to wild but tasty food offerings. The first item I tried, which really stretches the definition of a ballpark dog, is called the slugger dog. You can find this up in craft and draft near the left field bowel pole. And for $19, you get chorizo and manego on a stick tossed in tempura batter and cool ranch Dorito crumbs with avocado ioli to dip in and some French fries. I didn’t know what to expect with all of these flavors, but every bite of this was absolutely incredible, especially the manego, one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The avocado ioli was a fantastic ad and the fries were solid. This is getting a super rare 9.5 out of 10 from me. I just wish I had more to be honest. The second item I tried can also be found at Craft and Draft and it’s called the Mac and Jack. For $18, you get a jalapeno brisket dog topped with mac and cheese, cornbread crumble, hot honey, and green onions with a side of fries. While it was a bit messy, this was an awesome twist on some classic barbecue flavors, and it ended up being super filling as well. I love pretty much everything about it, especially that unique brisket dog. So, I’ll give it a very solid 9 out of 10, which makes the slugger dog our crazy coffin dog winner. Let me know which ballpark foods I should try
