But let’s get right into this one, guys. We got game two of this series between the Pirates and the Nationals going down on Saturday. Um, game one does happen on Friday evening. I’m recording this Friday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. I made the video on that game. I I did roll with the Nationals. It was just a lean for me. And in that game, it was supposed to be Andrew Alvarez. I handicapped the game with Andrew Alvarez pitching. Um, he got scratched. Who is pitching today for the um for the Nationals? I am curious. Let’s see who got moved to and then Okay, so now it’s Brad Lord on the mount for the Nationals. I I still like the Nationals in game one. Um but really the points I made in that video about Andrew Alvarez is I I think he’s actually going to have a pretty damn good start against the Pirates. I mean, looking at this Pirate splits, really struggle to hit the ball on the road, really struggle against lefties. Andrew Alvarez is a lefty. We haven’t seen much work from Andrew Alvarez. Um, I mean, he’s only had two starts this season, but he hasn’t looked bad. He hasn’t looked bad. Let’s see here. We saw him what, pitch five innings against Miami, allowed zero earn runs in that game. Pitch four and two/3s against the Cubs, allowed two earns two earn runs in that game. So, you know, the leash isn’t long on on Andrew Alvarez, but he’s been solid. And like I said, I I think against a Pirates team that has been so bad against lefties, he should be fine. On the other hand, you got Bubba Chandler on the mound for the Pirates. And look guys, he’s only had one start, so it’s it’s hard to really judge him. But on September 7th, he made it his first start. He pitched two and two/3 of an inning and uh he allowed nine runs against against the Brewers. Don’t get me wrong, that is not an easy lineup to face, but Bubba Chandler comes into this game with a 30.38 RA. I know it’s only one start, so it’s definitely inflated, but ner runs before you get to the third inning is is is really bad. Is really, really bad. So, I mean, it’s going to have to be nationals for me again. Um, there’s no way I’m going to back Bubba Chandler. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t I don’t think he has a I don’t think he allows nine earn runs or more again going against the Nationals, but look, this is a national scene that’s still seven and three showed up in their last 10. Um, they’re hitting the ball very well. I mean, you look at some of these past games here, they put up seven against the Marlins, 15 against the Marlins, six against the Cubs, five against the Cubs, 10 against the Marlins. Again, like this team is hitting the ball well and Bubba Chandler just getting cracked. I I could I could see the Nationals having a having a having a day with him. So, nothing’s pointing to the the to the Pirates um in this one for me. So, it’s going to have to be Nats at home. Appreciate you guys watching this though, man.
