  1. I know it’s cliche to say, “this makes me feel old,” but seeing Rizzo retire after a long career hits even harder, because I was well into legal drinking age when the Cubs traded for him before the 2012 season.

  2. Just watched the video the Cubs posted when they announced 44’s retirement 😭

Happy Rizzo Day to us all!

  3. Just a heads up, if anyone is trying to take the Yellow line in, it’s closed until afternoon

  4. Mo is such an interesting player. Doesn’t really have power, but is great at putting the bat on the ball and not striking out. He also seems to be good at hitting with runners on, he’s a lot like Nico in that regard. The biggest issue is his lack of positional versatility. If he can only DH he loses a lot of his value, and it makes him harder to play every day. I’m glad he’s on the roster right now down the stretch, but I wonder what the future has in store for him on this team. I guess it all depends on what happens with Tucker in the offseason. If we don’t keep Tuck, which I’m not confident we will, Suzuki can slot into RF and Mo can be every day DH. If we keep Tuck, then do we trade Mo? Curious to see how this plays out.

  5. Are you kidding me? The ONE day I can’t watch because I’m in Florida and they’re playing the Rays. So no Rizzo for me today
