Hey Rizzo, we’ve got a few messages for you from the people of Chicago. My favorite Anthony Rizzo moment is him catching the final out in game seven and ending the 108year World Series drought. Congratulations, Anthony, on an awesome career. So glad you’re retiring as a Cub. Anthony, congratulations on an amazing career. Wishing you all the best in retirement and hope you’re able to enjoy it with your family. Thank you for all the memories and I look forward to uh uh seeing you in some shape, form, and fashion with the Cubs. I’m so grateful for Anthony and all he did for Chicago. He was a great leader. His smile was infectious. He had great energy. He was the key component really in the Cubs um winning the World Series and he was just a great human being. Congratulations. Uh we appreciate your time you spent with us and uh Cubs for life. Congratulations. Love watching you. Go Cubs. Thanks Anthony for getting us that W. Great dude. And uh wish you all the best of luck and you’ll always be a Chicago in my mind. Yeah. So stoked that he’s retiring as a cub. But I think it’s beautiful and so appropriate.
