Utah Jazz as XMen | Part 1 | Hoops Nerd Show

It’s the most important video I’ve ever done. It’s actually a series. Which player on the Jazz would be which X-Men part one? Let’s talk about it. It’s the Hoopser Show. [Music] All right, guys. Before we get into it, like the video, subscribe to the channel. All right, let’s get into this. So, we’re getting close to the season. It’s time to talk about the important things, and that’s which player on the Jazz would be which X-Men. And let’s just start. I’m going to do three in this video. We’ll just keep going until we get through the whole team or until I get tired of this. Whichever happens first. The first one, Taylor Hendris. Who would Taylor Hendris be if he was an X-Man? I’ve thought about this. He would be Beast. Much like Beast, Taylor Hendris is an athletic, physical marvel with length, athleticism, strength. He can get to anywhere on the court in incredible ways. Block shots, jump, leap, do all these things. And like Beast, who took that special serum to try to remove his powers cuz he wanted to be regular. All right. I can’t remember. He wanted to be regular. He wanted to enhance his ability and it turned him blue and enhanced him to the next level. Much like that, Taylor Hris broke his ankle, broke his leg, and during the rehab process gets absolutely yolked and looks like a completely different player with just massive arms and strength. We’ll see what he looks like. Is he going to be like Beast and be an absolute gamecher? We’ll find out. All right, the next player we’re going to talk about is Keiante George. Who would Keonte George be? Keiante George is Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler who has just this incredible offensive firepower where he comes with his hope sword, his love of swashbuckling sword play mixed with his ability to teleport with brimstone stench as he gets to everywhere on the battlefield. Keonte George is very similar. His ability to score with huge shots from everywhere on the court can be a huge weapon for the Jazz. And much like Nightcrawler teleports into the battlefield into different places, he can teleport other mutants of the X-Men team to safety or to different elements or to do just different things. Keonte George is the same way. He is surprisingly versatile whether he’s scoring from three, scoring in the mid mid-range or scoring at the rim. Super versatile. Can get anywhere on the floor. Super athletic, super lean, just like Nightcrawler. similar body types to be honest with just the the length and athleticism and pretty lanky size. The only issue with Keonte George and Nightcrawler is don’t expect a lot of defense, expect a lot of offense. Nightcrawler is underrated with his ability to just cut up and destroy the enemy in just insane unique ways. And Keonte George is the same way. his ability to score. There wasn’t a shot he wasn’t confident he couldn’t make. Did I say that right? I think so. Anyways, same thing with Nightcrawler. But if you have Juggernaut coming your way, Nightcrawler struggles to stop him. And Keonte George is the same way defensively. Just got to be a little bit better. Finally, the third of this video, Lowry Markin. Who is Lowry Markin? Lowry Markin is Havoc, the brother, the younger brother of Cyclops. Much like Cyclops, Havoc’s superpower is extremely strong plasma blasts that he finds different ways to shoot from his body. Typically, you see Havoc shooting them from his chest with a specialized system. like Havoc, Larry Markin has not been a heralded leader of any team that’s really gone super far or super, you know, very wellknown. Cyclops has always been the one that gets all the credit, but Havoc has been on X Factor. He did eventually become the leader of the Star Jammers, but his most effective time is when he is brought into the X-Men as a a support character, not the lead guy. And that’s when he does his damage. And when he can control his blasts, he’s super powerful, extremely powerful. And just like Lowry Markin, it took him time to control and get his shooting under wraps. And when he did, he was an all-star. He’s also still struggled to get that shooting to be consistent, much like Havoc. But when he controls it, he’s extremely powerful, extremely great from distance, shooting the ball, just like Havoc shooting those Pav plasma blasts. They can be devastating and so can Lowry Markin. It’s just a matter of control and consistency. Can Lowry Markin find that control this year? Can the X-Men or the Utah Jazz, whatever you want to say, give him those elements he needs to keep those plasma blasts under control? We’ll find out. But it sure will be interesting. Guys, let me know who the next three should be in the comments. Let me know if you agree or disagree. Like and subscribe. I’ll talk to you next time.
