Kansas City Royals vs Philadelphia Phillies – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 13, 2025 MLB Season
the pitch. Breaking balls out looking back door and he gets the call. Third strike as the Phillies winning the opener 8-2. The swing and a popup shadow right and who wants it? Walton calling and Donovan Walton getting the start at second base. Ranging out to make the play. Walker the one-two and it’s ripped over the leaf of Harper. It’s down the line into the corner and Pascantino rumbling around first on his way to second. He’ll be there with a stand up two out double payback here tonight. Little liner towards short diving stock. Can’t get it. That’s a base hit. The Royals are going to be on the board first yet again. Mikel Garcia tonight with an RBI single. What a catastrophe. Runner goes 3-2. Hit in the air pretty deep. Bader going back to the track, nearing the wall. He will not get it. It is gone over the angled wall and Salvador Perez with his 26th home run of the season. A two-run shot. The 1-1 ripped down the left field line. That’s in for a base hit going all the way to the wall. Frasier coming into third base. They do hold him there as Marsh able to get it back in. Second time this year they’ve faced him, but first time they’ve done it with him donning a Royals uniform. Here’s a dribbler. Might work out. Garcia bare hand and it’s not in time. He just gets hits, John. That’s all. He’s got that as well in the bag. 97 mph fast. And Burger gets his first strike out. Apparently the scouting reports stink. You would have said no. There’s the ball hit well to left again. Going back is Frasier to the wall looking up and it’s off the wall as Frasier couldn’t make the play. Two runs are going to score and Brandon Marsh answers back. The Phillies are on the board. It’s a one-run game. Popped up near third. Should have ran again. You can’t get that analysis anywhere, can you? out there at second base during the home run trot. There’s a bouncer towards short bit. Wow, nice play. A tough hop off the side of the mound. He made it look easy up the alley left center pretty deep and it is gone. Make it seven for seven for Perez. It’s his 300th career home run. I think he pulled his hamstring. I think you’re right. Up the middle. Another hit. And it’s six straight multi-hit kings for Harrison Bader. God. Oh, maybe you try to steal a base and see how good that baby is. No need. This one back to an even count. That one goes to the back stop. I call that a wild kid trying to let the rookie feel CBP. The pitch line drive right field tagging Bader. Restky makes the catch. Bader is coming home and the throw not in time. One ball right side could be two and pass from Tino can’t handle the throw from Wit. So he’ll have to settle for one. You saw Nick there. Oh, here’s a bun attempt. And Burger will throw to first. Not in time. And Donovan Walton gets his first Phillies hit. It’s a bunt single. Ouch. Well, he’s going to finally get Salvador who’s barely jogging down to first and he was retired for the first time tonight. Middle of the fifth in South Philly. Swung on line to right pretty deep and that one is gone. Kyle Schwarber with number 51 and he’s tied the game. line drive home run just over the wall and right stood has a right at 900. There’s a hot shot to short had it and dropped it and everybody’s going to be safe as that ball kicked away from him. Bouncer towards second. India charges, gloves it and feeds to first to get Marsh and a pitch swung on, lifted in the air center field. Isbel back into his right is going to get there and make the catch, but it’s plenty deep enough. Both runners will tag and Nick Castianos has put the Phillies on top five to four. Here’s a swing and a drive. Well hit left field. Going back Frasier and that ball is off the top of the wall. Just in play into score is Real Muto and in it second with a double is Otto Kemp and it’s a 64 Phillies lead. Swinging a line drive to center right at Harrison Baylor. Good one, two, three inning there for Tanner Banks. Yet again, middle of the six fills in front all the time, guys. And a little floater into right center field. And another gift from Harrison Bader. I mean, what a gift he’s been, huh? And the pitch ripped to right. There’s a base hit out of the glove of Pascantino. Walton around third. He’ll be waved home and the throw is not in time. Kyle Schwarber with another run. Batted in. Pitch to JT. Swinging a comebacker. Balden’s got it to second. One on the first. That’ll end what they were doing. One run, three hits. Shoots one to right. Castano’s back into his left. That will be out of his reach. They bang off the base of the wall and into second goes Tolbert with a leadoff pinch hit double. Another mid-season acquisition for the Royals and he skies this one to right. Should be room enough for Casianos. Tolbert tagging. He’ll go to third. Here’s the pitch. Swung off. Lifted high in the air right field. Castanos backing up. Has room. It’ll be plenty deep enough to bring Tolbert home from third. And the Royals get one on the board there. Got to keep an eye on Bobby Wit here. Another pop up. Doesn’t matter now on the infield. Stop closing in. He’s got it. Strom gives up one, but that is all. And as we head to the bottom of the seventh, time to stretch. Phils in front. Head for a shot on his wing. Here’s a swing and a drive right center field and deep and that one is on its way. Brandon Marsh 10th home run of the season and that’ll get that run back right away for the Phillies. They lead at 85 logger in a logger form. Walton high hopper right of the mound. India’s got it and that’ll do it for the Phillies. You can pitch a half a season for I mean you got to wonder is it could others follow but not the Phillies pitch. Look at the look at the play by Robertson and uh Charlie Ramos is out. Ground ball third base diving Kent can’t quite get it. Rolls down the line going to the corner in India. is on his way into second with one. Round ball the other way. That’s going to be a base hit. And the Royals will tack on a run and get one closer here. Maybe that’s why they got him off. Bells, two strikes, and a pitch. Swing and a miss. Back him out. And David Robertson with a breaking ball. Finishes off the Royals. Garcia coming in to get that one. And Bader this time is a ground out. Means absolutely nothing to me. Oh, I see it now. Yeah. Well, that’s a big sign. Harper swings, drives it to straightaway center, but right there is Britik, and he will make the catch. Ground ball to second and Walton gobbles it up. One-1 and a ground ball to short. Scott charges. Two down. And one more strike for a magic number of one. 86 the final. The Phillies win it. And the magic number is down to one as the Phillies poised to win the National League East for a second straight

Marsh finding his swing is so good for Philly.
Love Bader’s enthusiasm for the game. He’s like a little kid out there.
The whole outfield is playing great defense, and all of them are contributing on offense. Our outfield is now a strength. Go phillies!
I think this is the best overall team the Phils have had and hope it pays off big time.
