Dodgers vs. Giants Game Highlights (9/13/25) | MLB Highlights

On the hill tonight for the Giants will be the veteran right-hander Logan Webb. 30 starts this year. So be number 31. 14 to9 on the year with a 312 erra. A ball and two strikes on Otani. The pitch hooked to the left side. Stopped by Adam on the grass, but he’s got no throw. So lead off infield. Singer for Shi on an excuse me swing. Swing and a half swing roller back to the mound. Web comes off the mound to get it. He’ll underhand the ball to first and a chance right away to fix what ailed them last night. They were unable to get a single hit in yesterday’s game with men on base. And then shoots it down the left field line. Otani is going to score. Freeman’s thinking he’s got two. The throw in. Here’s the tag. He is out. So Freddy will get a single, a run batted in and he is thrown out seven to four for the second out of the inning. Base is empty, but the Dodgers are up one- nothing. bounced softly to second over to his left. Schmidz got it. Throws him out at first. Inning over, but the Dodgers get a run. You know, it’s hard to believe that we’re still calling Kershaw an ace. He’s had a great year. I don’t see any wear and tear. Current ball is lined into left center just out of the reach of the diving mookie bats at shortstop. Base hit upstairs in the first two Giants aboard. 19 first innings, 13 earned runs, an RA of 6.16. After that though, he really settles in. So if you’re going to get the 22, you better do it early or you might not do it at all. Hit up the middle and a base hit and here comes Ramos. The Giants have tied the game at one and they’re in great shape to add on with nobody out. And it’s a shot into left field. One run scores a Dallas to third and it’s two to one. These first innings have been haunting for Clayton. Ball four in the dirt. loads the bases for the Giants. All right, after a mound visit from Mark Prior, Kershaw will face Gerard in Carnosion. Double play ball and they got him at second and a run scores. Otherwise, it would have been a double play. So, the Giants catch a break. Maddening for Kersh on the mound. He didn’t show anybody up, but you know what he felt when he knew he got a routine double play ball and doesn’t get it turned. And Kershaw’s last outing last Sunday in Baltimore, five and two/3 innings. Just five total base runners against the Orioles. First inning tonight against the Giants. Five of the first seven reaching against him. The base hit. Champ scores. It’s four to one. Dodger defense has not helped him at all in a couple of mistakes and they have found some outfield grass. Loads the bases for the Dodgers. Three consecutive singles against Logan Webb in the second. Well, you didn’t think the Dodgers were just going to go away. So now Rovet, one thing that Webb has always been good at is being able to get a ground ball. Change up. Ground to the first to his right. Divers has it. The second one. The relay back to first with Webling. Double play and the inning is over. Base is loaded. Backto back walks and three straight to reach with two outs. Hughes at the right side. Roa shuffles over and makes the play despite the head first slide by Schmid at first base. So the Giants leave them loaded but remain in front. Four to one. Ball one to Show Otani who singled and scored in the first inning. And Otani steps on a pitch. Sends one to straight away center field. Long gone for number 49 this season. 454 ft for Otani and he makes it a 4-2 game. One two Bets. That’s hit toward the gap in left center field. That is down. Cut off quickly though. Well played by Ramos who gets it back in quickly to hold bets to first base. It’s been a struggle for Tayas the last 15 days hitting just 167. Now Hernandez lifts one to left field on the warning track. Ramos he reaches up can’t make the catch. Bets has a windmill to come on home. RBI double to Oscar Hernandez and it’s a one-run game. Edgardo Enriquez replacing the future Hall of Famer who went three innings, four runs all of them earned on a one-two pitch. Elliot Ramos strikes out swinging. Three sliders in a row coming into the night. He’s only thrown that pitch about 10% of the time on a 2-2. Devils strikes out swinging. That was the cutter. We got the slider that goes right to left and change the speed down into the low 80s. You’ve got the cutter that’s going to be upper 90s and then the fast ball that can go and head and reach 102 103. Now the 3-2 pitch. Andardo Enriquez blows the doors off the Giants in the fourth. That’s low. Ball four and it loads the bases for the Dodgers. I don’t think Logan Web’s going to get a shot to pitch out of it though. Giants clinging to a 4-3 lead. Base is loaded. Nobody out. It’s Jose BH right-hander, the former New York Met to face to Oscar Hernandez. Hernandez shoots it to right center field. Diving attempt. It gets by Moss. Bet scores. Freeman’s right behind him. Tay Oscar Hernandez flips the scoreboard with another RBI double. Hits one in the air right field. Playable for Incarnos. Muny tagging at third. He’s going to come home. The throw is going to short. Sacrifice fly for Confoto. And the Dodgers double their lead. Runners at second and third. And Worf had a chance to get two runners in. Now Warfz went into left center field for another knock all the way to the warning track. Hernandez scores. So does Roaros. Two-run double is Ben Rickbet and the Dodgers lead the Giants eight to four. So first and second for Mookie Bets. The Dodgers up by four. Ground ball base hit. Mookie bets. Rovet scores. It’s nine to four. The line keeps on moving. Any kind of answer would be good to get a little momentum back in the Giants dugout. And here’s Carnasion down the line. That’s going to do it. It’ll knock in Chapman and Inosion has got a double to feed a hot bat. Patrick Bailey has been swinging of late. Line drive down the line and they’re off to the races and the Giants are back in it. And what a game this inning has been. 97 Dodgers, nine combined runs in the fifth inning alone and 21 combined hits. Here comes his 2-1 and it hits Muny in the back of the head. There’s a fast ball at 94 mph from Gage. The second time in as many nights Maxy is hit by a pitch. Both of them have been scary. This one especially terrifying. He says he’s all right. A huge sigh relief from everybody here at Oracle Park and everybody watching this game. Base hit right field. Stops on for Teayscar Hernandez. For the third time, the Dodgers have a bases loaded situation with runners in scoring position. They are six for 11 tonight in that department. And Miggy has another opportunity right here. He’s in the dirt. Skips by Bailey. Doesn’t know where the ball is. And Hernandez scores. That gives the Dodgers double digits and a three-run lead. Rojos smacks it to right center field. Boss after it. He’s not going to get it. And in with a two-run double is Miguel Rojos. And the Dodgers lead it 12-7. Justin Roleski still has the ball. Bottom of the seventh. 127 Dodgers here in game two of the threeame series. Strike three. Another K for Robleski. That is seven Ks for Dodger rookie relievers tonight. Ground ball second. Stopped by Rojos on the cut of the grass. He’s up and throwing to finish off another one, two, three frame for Robleski. Two down and here comes Freddy Freeman. Freeman goes after the first pitch toward triples alley. This ball’s going to get down. Otani is going to score from first. Another Freddy Freeman double. Dodgers got a run in the ninth. 13 in the game on 17 hits. So they lead the Giants by six. They need three outs to get back the half game on the San Diego Padres’s who beat Colorado tonight. Fly ball slicing toward Tioscar Hernandez. He’s there and that’s a win for LA. The Dodgers come back and punch back to even the series with San Francisco. 13 runs for the Dodgers tonight. The most they’ve scored since June 22nd. Welcome back, guys.

  1. Clayton Kershaw pitched a really good third inning, I am surprised that he then left the game after a very shakey first inning. I sure hope that Roberts didn't pull him for if otherwise he would have won the game tonight. Only threw 73 pitches tonight and is normally up near 100 for the workhorse.

  2. Dodgers desperately hit balls and run for Kershaw every time. Yamamoto should play with the same teammates. Otherwise, Kershaw should be the coach
