How are we feeling about this?

  1. We really need to drill into Jayden to just go down when there is any defenders near him when he’s on his running stuff. Oh well. Sit him for the raiders game and evaluate next week I guess. A lot of QBs going down early with injuries early this season

  2. The fact is a good team can still manage without its star QB. Mariota is more than capable of stepping up to the plate if he needs to.

  3. I dont like the idea of him not practicing. The offense is already out of sync. We need all the practice we can get.

  4. Not ideal but it’s not the end of the world. We’re getting a decent break and we’ll be back at home against a team that is very beatable and Vegas will be on a short week.

  5. Day-to-day means he’ll probably be good for the raiders game in a week. If he’s not we can play Mariota and still probably win the game

  6. First thought: What’s a ‘day to day’ knee injury example?

    Serious question and also scared.

  7. Man, this thread is a lot more doom and gloom than I anticipated.

“Day to day” is about as positive a result as you can get when you hear he got an MRI. Means that the result of the scan was nothing serious. He could (and probably will) play this week with a brace.

That said, if he needs to miss a week, Mariota’s a capable backup! This is why you want a good QB2.

  8. We all saw this coming he will be fine. It might linger ass season but he gotta put the brace on it and man up. Its part of playing in the league.

  9. Definitely had RG3 vibes were you could see the knee injury during the GB game and he refused to come out. Glad he was able to make it out of the game just the “day to day” injury.

Sit him for a week and re-evaluate for ATL
