I really wish the Chargers didn't draft him before we had the chance to, though rumors were we wanted Latham the whole time anyway. Not that Latham has been terrible, but Alt is looking like an All-Pro.

I’m with ya. Alt was a can’t miss guy by most analysts.
If we didn’t beat the Jags in the last week of the season we’d have Malik Nabers, and if we didn’t comeback against the Dolphins we’d have our choice of Joe Alt, Nabers, or MHJ.
This is why the anti-tanking crowd never made sense to me.
Instead we got stone feet drafted to play LT and now cant even play RT..
I think Alt and Nabers were plans A and B for our front office. Those two going back to back right before our pick caused our FO to collectively shit themselves and pick Latham and then force copium down our throats to make him seem like a good pick.
Yeah this definitely sucks. As a Bama fan I’m glad that we have a guy I’m familiar with. Last year you could definitely tell at times he was struggling with the transition from RT to LT. Really hope we him get even better this year
What a stupid fucking take. Latham is fine. Farley, Burkes, and panda weren’t. That is the issue
Ummm, I still want Fashanu, who we actually could have taken.
If only the Chargers took Nabers instead. See, what has me concerned with this crew is that they said that they were always going to take Latham.
J.C has struggled as a tackle so far. Struggles with speed rushers. He might be able to save his career by becoming a right guard and I think that he could be an elite one at that position.
This team needs two tackles once again but we cannot afford to draft another one with a 1st overall pick.
Titans need playmakers on offense (WR/TE) or edge rusher in the worst way for Ward. People might scoff at getting a TE with the 1st pick but we could’ve had Brock Bowers too as well.
Rooting for Latham but OL guys taken from Alabama have a very bad track record when it comes to being great players in the NFL.
