I hate to say this because it is such a helpless feeling, but this goes all the way to the top. Rooney does not care about this football team, so he is completely fine with keeping Tomlin as the HC no matter how bad it gets. And Tomlin is an egotistical hype man who can’t coach, but also doesn’t recognize he can’t coach so he hires yes-men coordinators. Never forget we had Brian Flores on the roster who would’ve 100% taken the DC job! It sucks but I dont see how this changes until Tomlin retires, which could be another 10 years
