(There are actually a few positive takeaways from this weekend but still)

  1. Same here I been thru the bad the ditka era the Jim Everette era šŸ˜†šŸ˜† I’m a 80’s baby I’m stuck to this team

  2. Have more fun watching the saints the last two weeks than all of last year (minus last year’s first two weeks)

  3. Two weeks into new offensive and defensive systems, it’s about what could be expected. In the post game press conference that was about as pissed as Ive ever seen Kellen. We have to be able to get off the field on third and longs and clean up the drops. It’s a process. Who knew we’d have the same record as the chiefs after two games? Lol

  4. All 4 of my teams are at various stages of rebuild and they’re all ass. If im celebrating that the White Sox *have a chance* at not losing 100 games, I can celebrate as long as we dont go 0-17.

It could be worse. The Pelicans are fucked AFAIK

  5. Even this post is slightly passive aggressive. It’s not that serious. Just watch and look for certain improvements. Look for hustle and passion. This team has been more fun to watch than entire since Peyton left. Yall have to learn how to lose.

  6. Drew and Sean joined the organization nearly 20 years ago. A huge chunk of Saints fans, particularly those online aren’t aware that we’ve never been a real franchise without them.

The old heads are more prepared for winter.

  7. I don’t really expect them to win many games this year, but I’ve been having fun watching Rattler exceed my expectations.

We’re honestly only 2-3 free agents away from being a halfway decent team at this point, and I’m more excited for the future than I have been in years.

  8. Sometimes it’s better if they lose for me anyway, because then I’m just like ā€œfuck it,ā€ and get shit done for the rest of the day instead of continuing to drink and celebrate the win.

  9. The pain comes not from the losses but the fact that they’re close loses. Ā The New Orleans Saints are like a 24/7 gas station, they never close.

  10. I enjoy professional football. Cannot stand college football, just a objectively a terrible product

With that said, I only root for the saints. When were out of it, I still watch but don’t care who wins

  11. So we’re jsut not going to talk about how an entire generation of Saints fans grew up on Cowboys football because there were only 8 TV channels and the Saints were so ass they played Cowboy games instead of Saints games for 10 years in Lousiiana?

  12. I grew up in st Bernard parish. My dad and uncle were saints fans. We watched every game in the 80s and 90s..

I moved to Tampa in 2001. Of course I still represented saints. Made friends who were transplants and we’re still close 24 years later.

One thing I noticed in Tampa was that there were fans of other teams, even with Tampa natives. That boggled my mind.

  13. Same me being a titans fan there’s a lot of promise even tho we are 0-2 cam is our guy and I can’t wait to see what we do in fa or via trades before deadline kinda hoping we take a chance on picking up pits from the falcons someway

  14. Legit just went ot buy beer this morning after my shift. Cashier has an ak jersey and tell him I have one too but not with me (im from Texas). He says “they trash tho” instinctively I say “that’s not your team?”

After the 2nd time I say it he says “wish they were better” I agreed with him but not letting my team down just because of some banter.

Maybe it’s because im not exposed to the same degree as ppl native to LA but I keep believing this team will be better even with our lows
