Some of yall are in for a long season

  1. Yeah people need to realize this isn’t madden. You cant just trade all the old people for picks and magically be good again in 2-3 seasons. Ask the browns how their rebuild is going. Or the jets? Or the titans?

  2. Winning is the end reault of rebuilding so lets just skip the sucking part by dracting Russell Wilson 2.0 in last years 5th round. Idk about wr tho and we should have added Noah Faint in FA and went heavy 2 TE sets

  3. Eagles rebuilt almost their entire defense in just a couple of years while the Saints haven’t had a 10 win season since 2020. And 2025 is considered the first year of the rebuild? What about last year when we went 5-12?

What frustrates me about the Saints from a team building perspective is that they’ve been hesitant to fully commit to a rebuild.

The Saints FO reminds me of the Bengals mom and pop shop model as opposed to a more professional calculative system like Howie Roseman where the direction of the team is obvious.

  4. Personally I’m happy with the results so far. Team isn’t winning but they’ve been in position each game. Play calling has been much better and defense has played good in some spots. Lets hope some of the younger players can develop into solid pieces for our future

  5. The Saints are 3 bad plays away from being 2-0. Take a chill pill and let them play. They’re going to win some games.

  6. I’m fine with the team being bad as long as their are bright spots. The OL looking mostly good, the defense and guys like Bresee looking good, etc.

It’s when the team is just trash with nothing to look positive about that sucks. Also if we end up as bad as some think and we make the right calls we in a good spot.

For example people think we got the #1 pick. If that’s the case then screw going for a QB this year. So far they look at the same level as the ’25 class I also wasn’t impressed with. Trade back draft an elite playmaker on defense like Caleb Downs etc and get extra 1st.

Next year if we are still top 5 bad, that means we can likely get our QB and with our extra 1sts from trading back can also get an elite offensive playmaker like Jeremiah Smith. Boom rebuild over and we are the Commanders

  7. I don’t care about not having the pieces in place this year, but I expect professionals not to make stupid mistakes and drops.

  8. funny cuz in the preseason some of y’all where saying we’re going 17-0 and i said y’all sounding like cowgirls fans and i got -2 upvotes

  9. We dodged a bullet with Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson types. Carr allowed us to exit that mistake a year early which is nice. We can’t go back in time and wish we’d done more under the three years of Dennis Allen. That was 3 years where the division title was very winnable.

I’m just hoping to see improvement. That is unless Baker misses serious time and then this team could somehow win division with a losing record. That’s still not out of the cards.

  10. We’re not rebuilding, this is just a bad team. No OL, we aren’t developing young talent, QB situation speaks for itself, no true WR1, $62M in dead money next year, Taysom, Cam, Demario, and Shaheed all on void years in 2026 and have to be extended. Are we rebuilding through the draft? Are we trading back in the draft to stockpile picks? I doubt it being that we have the fewest picks in the league since 2000 thanks to Mickey.

  11. You can need surgery and get it and then whine when it hurts and then still be glad you did it once it’s healed.

  12. I will have to say I like what we look like right now for rebuilding. Maybe another couple years. I really think we have something good with Rattler. I think more help on both lines, lb and cbs

  13. I either want to be 0 – 17 ish… or 3 – 17 ish. Screw the 8-9 win season. It’s dumb. Get some draft stock
