It’s a good night cause we won and are top of the division, but this game proved we got stuff to work on offensively

FTR!!!
Derwin James masterclass
#2-0 FTR
#BRING ME THE DONKEYS
Good ugly win. Damn near perfect defense man holy shit they looked good. The offense was obviously sloppy, and needs to improve no doubt, but it still has so much more going for it this year even in a weak game like this. If this is their floor I’m very happy.
Nobody better ever take Minter from us
FG to piss off Carroll would’ve been the icing on the cake
We got the best defense in the league. Just a bunch of dogs all wanting to make a play
Ugly game but I’ll take a divisional win over the Raiders on Monday Night with 2 Herbie TDs and 14 interceptions by the D
FIRST IN THE DIVISION
2-0
Leading the west!!!!
Ugly ugly win, but 2-0 feels pretty fucking great
1st place AFC WEST. All alone!
Love it, but damn that long ass Raiders drive was a snooze fest. Wanted to see more of Herbert and the offense.
Our leading rusher: justin patrick herbert
lol disgusting win
but a win
fuck the raiders
HEY-HEY
HO-HO
THE CHAR-GERS
ARE 2-AND-0
That 4th quarter was brutal to watch offensively…have no clue what Roman was doing. The offensive line has been great in pass protection, but run-blocking has been pretty bad. Need to improve there, its probably why Roman has (uncharacteristically) favored the pass so much more.
This defense is so elite, man I hope Mack comes back because he is literally the missing piece in terms of an elite pass rusher.
Herbert was so solid again aside from that one near pick. Derwin and Daiyan are gonna be All-Pros this season for sure.
thank goodness we got absolute DOGS on defense. Gritty as hell.
Chargers glaze on mnf? Elite defense? Great coaching? Feels great. Awesome watching that defense tonight. Love them
Some really boneheaded plays but a win is a win. Defence looks friggin great.
More Ladd McConkey next week plz
Half the defense injured and gassed and they put up a masterclass. Praying for Mack/Denzel/Moldens health. FISKE Legacy game coming up!
It was sloppy but how often do we win a game by two possessions? man I could get used to this
Omarion needs to play better, but Greg Roman and the oline need to help him.
That last quarter was a mess for both teams.
Our defense was so good! Omarion Hampton made a few mistakes he’s still learning tho. We could have used better play clock management end of 4th before we got the ball back on the final drive. Mack is okay might be out some weeks but that’s fine for now. We are off to a good start!
Herbert doesn’t miss on his throws often but when he does, I feel like his passes are often dropped by the defense. 😆 #grateful

What a defensive showcase! We knew this defense would be good, but man, they looked outright elite tonight. Three turnovers. Excellent coverage in the secondary. Consistent, satisfactory pressure. All in all, excellent. Jesse Minter has done a sensational job, and considering where we were before he was brought on, that’s saying a lot.
Offense was good too, just not perfect. Crazy to say, the running game definitely needs work. Run blocking is weak, and both Hampton, and Harris have been unimpressive with the rock. Though, Hampton’s been really effective as a blocker, in fairness.
That being said, the passing game’s good! Herbert’s elite as ever, naturally, and while I was half joking with saying a QJ legacy season was coming, that might unironically be the case. Great game from him tonight. And I almost forgot about Allen! Back like he’s never left. The chemistry he has with Herbert is something else.
2-0 to start the year is one thing. But 2-0 to start the year, with both wins being against the division is immense. If we can score a win next week against Denver, this will without question be our best chance to win our division in years. Which is crazy to think about.
Joe Alt, another masterpiece.
Henley, James, and Still are beasts.
Healthy Herbert is making a world of difference compared to the last two seasons.
Pass pro was, again, very good.
Biggest problem on offence is we can’t run the ball. Hampton is probably (rightfully) going to get benched for his brutal rookie mistakes this week and last. But saying that I can’t even really blame the RBs because the line is really not getting much push. We should have buried this game like 3 times before we finally did and a lot of that comes down to now being able to run the ball late in the game.
Still, decent game. Defence was nuts.
I think we need to appreciate Pipkins. I thought we were in a really bad spot losing Slater but he’s played above average starter level and made that loss manageable.
