6. When I used to coach youth ball, I would always encourage the “role players” to be like smart and hand out Tommy points.

   Dude was epitome of hustle. Did he always make the right play no, did he always take the best shot no, did he lay it all on the line 100% of time hell ya.

7. Grit and balls. He didn’t get that ring here, but Mahcus is always a Celtic and should never have to pay for meal in Boston.

8. As much as I’m glad that we ended up winning a ring with the JT/JB core it always felt more than a little tainted to me that Smart wasn’t along for the ride.
