Is it just me or do we have way too many player injuries ?

We’re cursed
Every team has injuries.
We just lack the depth to deal with them, so we feel/notice them more.
According to Fangraphs, the Angels have 13 players currently on the IL. The Astros have 14 and the Red Sox have the most with 16. There’s also the Mets (13), Diamondbacks (11), Dodgers (11) and Tigers (11).
Overall, the Angels have had 23 different players on the IL this season. Teams with around as much or more include the Tigers (22), Rangers (22), Reds (22), Brewers (23), Astros (25), Mets (26) and Dodgers (28).
This is a long-winded way of saying that it feels much worse because the Angels depth is god awful. All those teams I mentioned are still in the thick of the playoff hunt. Any team can make do with a lengthy IL list if they have adequate backups. No excuse for the Angels.
We had far fewer injuries than normal for most of this season until the wheels fell off these past few weeks. Nobody missed a start until mid-July (when Kochanowicz was demoted and they did a bullpen game first game after the All-Star break).
Who is the Angels top pitcher? It that Tyler Anderson?
