  1. Kawhi chose Clippers for a fake illegal sponsorship deal, instead of coming to the Lakers and organically making much more money off his fame with no issues

  2. Every journalist is always shocked by how shy he is, this one said he spoke so quietly he had to lean over to hear him 😭 My shy goat 😭

  3. “I JUST LOVE the way he approaches the game,” says LeBron James. “I love the way he plays the game. More importantly, man, he’s just a great f—ing guy.”
It’s the day after Doncic signed his new extension, and the senior Laker and billionaire, on the last stretch of vacation, is taking a moment to rhapsodize all things Luka.
“Big-time savant of the game,” James says. “I always use IQ as a measuring point in basketball—guys who can think the game. There are so many guys in our league who can play the game, but to be able to think the game as well puts you at another level.”

I wish people would stop the narrative that LeBron doesn’t like Luka/like playing with Luka.

  4. I don’t know if it’s just Lara Beth Seager but whoever is controlling Luka’s PR has been doing a great job since the trade.

    – He was absolutely quiet after the trade and gave no interviews, milked the tension with Mavs with the Jordan ads/parking lot/Gatorade.

    – Just one interview with Andrews before the playoffs – honest and no bad-mouthing the Mavs, so they end up looking bitter. And releases a freaking 7-minute ad for Jordan.

    – Leaves the country and disappears from public view, loses weight, does a promotional tour around 3 cities, signs a new deal, gives multiple interviews, shows up in Men’s Health magazine, and the Today show.

    – Continuous press coverage by the European media during Eurobasket. Ends up having probably the best individual performance of the tournament.

    – Just as that ends, shows up in WSJ magazine. Will have an episode of Hot Ones soon.

    – Training/pre-season starts in October. So back to the limelight.

Revenge tour or not, my man’s finally going all out to change the narrative around him and actually working on promoting himself.

    P.S. Dude looks hot.
