Week 2 PFF Grades

  1. I thought Pollard was good to great. Not a lot of holes, and consistently got positive yards. Also thought his pass blocking was excellent. There was one play that got blown dead (or a penalty? Can’t remember) where a blitzer came flying through, and he just stonewalled him.

  2. I’m ready to see our Ward + the OL finally face an opponent that doesn’t have a top 5 pass rush in the league. It’s crazy how hard the schedule is to start for them.

Anyways, the grades for pretty much all the young guys look good. Ward, Ayomanor, Skoronski, Oladejo, Gray, and McCreary specifically grading like they did is an encouraging sign.

  3. Haha seeing a practice squad guy do better than a vet we’re paying $50 million dollars to is fucking ridiculous. It would be funny if I wasn’t so invested in this team… Goddamnit what a fucking sad existence it is to be a titans fan…. Same with seeing a 4th round rookie outplaying Calvin Ridley… The guy we’re paying $92 million dollars to…

  4. Had people in the postgame thread saying Sneed played well yesterday. PFF ain’t always right, but this one matches the eye test from the stadium. Picked on all day and got a little lucky Stafford wasn’t more accurate

  5. Literally our highest paid players are the worst performing.
    Sneed
    Ridley
    Moore Jr.
    Cushenberry

You want to know why Ran got fired. This is one. Also Moore is on Borgonzi which doesn’t look good for his resume.

  6. Starting to wonder how much of the blocking issues are in part related to having soft tight ends.

If we are going to get next to 0 production out of them in the pass game then maybe it’s time to switch out to some maulers who can help block and get the run game going.
